Welcome to Clover Cove, a heart-warming, romantic village on the west coast of Ireland where people find love, friendship and strength in the most unexpected places.
Being posted from Manhattan to the Emerald Isle should be bliss for heartbroken New York executive Kate O’Riordan, but Kate’s job is to persuade the little village of Clover Cove to allow her employer to build an energy plant in their picture-perfect harbour.
Her mission brings her into conflict with handsome innkeeper Connor James, a man who makes Kate’s heart do backflips, but who is hiding his own secret heartache.
Kate’s romantic life is further complicated by the attentions of wealthy Lord Balcon and then there’s the matter of her ex-boyfriend, ambitious oil executive David.
In an inspirational story of new beginnings, Kate must find the courage to place her faith in love if she is to save the village - and find a new place to call home.
Love Comes To Clover Cove is the first book in an uplifting new series of romance, friendships and family, set on the beautiful west coast of Ireland, perfect for readers of Debbie Macomber, Nancy Thayer and Jenny Colgan.
This book came up on a social media feed and I chose to read it as it is set on the west coast of Ireland.
I was disappointed to see a geographical error near the start of the book. Shannon International Airport is not just outside Dublin, as implied by the author. I may be picky but as someone who loves maps and geography, this stood out like a sore thumb to me.
There are a lot of interesting supporting characters that could have been explored more, and maybe they will be in future books. I did like the two main characters, Connor and Kate, but I felt that there was no chemistry between them until about 3/4 of the way through the book. Yes, they irritated each other (which can lead to romance in romantic fiction) but the strong romantic feelings for each other came on really suddenly making me think that this was not really a realistic relationship. I guess it is fiction though!
Fall in love with Clover Cove, a gorgeous Irish coastal village full of love and warmth with feel-good romance around every corner.

Part of the Clover Cove series a well written story by an Author I have not read before. Kate O’Riordan and Connor James' story has a great storyline and the pages flow smoothly from one to the other. I want to read the next. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a cute Irish Love Story. Having been to Dublin last October with my husband, I wanted to read a story about some Irish Love and meet some wonderful characters! The characters in this story are witty, cautious and true American and Irish. I enjoyed this quick read and some day soon will read the second and maybe the third in the series!
This is the start of a series and I like that it plays with who could be the next couple and their story. Kate and Connor were so sweet with good chemistry and a believable story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
