The child in us should never die!
Recently,I read this amazing book by Ruchita Mathur-'The Ship'.I picked this book after a long break to reading.I don't know but I certainly got a 'bachpan wala vibe' from this and so I picked this!
The book is short,sweet and crisp.The book has 12 chapters in total and it is 115 pages long.
Coming to my experience,this book was a fun read.The characters designed were interesting.Having animals characters is what I miss nowadays while reading novels.But this book is a good one!The language used is simple and easy.As this book is written from the children's point of view the language is not at all difficult.
The story line is intriguing.The characters made this book more lively.Also,the author has put few illustrations in between which makes the book more children-friendly and interesting.
The only point which I felt while reading was-It would have been much better if the chapter would have been started with a new page.Few times it happened that,I didn't know when one chapter was finished.The chapter completion vibe felt missing!
Apart from this,the whole book was fun!I would recommend this book to everyone!Children and the adults who want to live their childhood.

An amazing children's book! The story is about a ship called SPEEDY, which has crew members like Spider, Bear, Rabbit, Penguin and so on. They set for a voyage from Burma to India carrying cargo. En route they encounter deadly storms, Tsunami, sea monsters, adventure and scuffle at islands – where they mostly stop for ration and repairing. Despite all odds, the crew remains glued and together. The book itself sets an example of unity in adversity. Written in simple and engaging narration, this short novel is a classic one for children.

I have always adored children tales . Since childhood the champak and comics with their beautiful illustrations and enchanting morally binding stories have played a crucial role in I being a reader. So when I come across this novel and read the blurb , it made me feel nostalgic and couldn't stop myself from picking this up.
The story revolves around Lega, Yaga and Timble : a spider , bear and a penguin. All of them along with their crew has set out on a voyage on a ship without knowing the destination. They come across various adventures ,aliens and solve many mysteries together.
The book is certainly very fascinating and took me back to the old good days when the central characters use to be animals. The way moral element in the book is introduced makes it a worthy read for people of all ages. The friendship and camaraderie between the people and how it is important for a fulfilling life is artistically portrayed.
Overall a really fun - filled work.

There is nothing as good as an adventure book that has the ability to inevitably pique the curiosity of the readers as well as create a fictional world that we all can get lost in to escape the realities of the true world that we live in that are sometimes harsh or simply just not that appealing.
‘The Ship’ by Ruchita Mathur is one such prime and perfect example of an adventure book that is absolutely bound to keep the readers entertained throughout the entire story, right from the very first page.
On the outset, a bear, a penguin and a spider are the three animals who seemingly have nothing in common and I was confused as to how their story will pan out.
Needless to say, the author has wonderfully woven these three as well as the other animals together where we are able to read and witness about an unlikely friendship, beautifully woven in this heartwarming adventurous story.
With easy and simple words and beautiful illustrations in between, this book is bound to more than catch the eye of the readers and keep them entertained.
This is one of those novel that will not only make the children and young kids excited, but even as an adult myself, I was so engrossed in the story which made me sit up straighter when the twists came, made my heart beat faster when there was an encounter with sea monsters, made me worry about how our entourage will be able to fight against the deadly storm and so on.

The Ship is a beautifully written children book with a meaningful lesson being imparted through it. Though it is a children book, every reader of any age can still enjoy reading it.

The book "The Ship" is a Children's fiction by Author Ruchita Mathur.
The story revolves around the journey of some cute animals through the ship named SPEEDY. The animals were Spider, Bear, Rabbit, Penguin etc
In this story there are three main characters Lega, Yaga and Timble.
Timble is a Penguin, Yaga is a cute Bear and Lega is a Spider.
They all together go on an adventurous trip in which they go through a lot of different struggles one by one. But still they all together stick with each other and face the hurdles.
This is a perfect children's read and also recommended to adults. It teaches us lessons that are essential one of which is unity. And I loved the concept of telling a story having animals as the main characters. The cover looks so elegant so does the inside of the book with illustrations. Overall it was a lovely read.

The ship is a collection all the adventures Lega, Yaga and Timble encounter while sailing on their ship named Speedy. Lega is a spider, Yaga is a bear and Timble is a Penguin. The captain of the ship Lega leads the crew amazingly and altogether they solve some mysteries and help many animals who are in need. They sail along not knowing what the future holds for them and that's what makes their journey very interesting. And to choose one favorite moment in the story, I would go for their final Adventure. It was really good.
I have always loved cartoons and as soon as I looked at the cover, I picked it up and I am not at all disappointed. Reading this book took me back to my childhood and I am sure the kids would love reading the story with the beautiful illustrations in it. Though it needs a bit more proof reading, it is very engaging. I would recommend it to anyone who love reading some light cute stories.

I read this amazing review by @amidstbooks and picked up this book and voila !!! It turned out to be an adventurous journey of many cute animals depicting multiple episodes with take home lessons.
It's a book basically for children, but children books need not confine too them alone :) many of us still enjoy DIARY OF WHIMPY KID or THEA STELTON or RUSKIN BOND and many many others !!!

Some book will be remembered always, this is that book
The narrations were apt. The pace was good. A catchy title which justifies the plot ,and a great start up line which I stated above which was enough to make me pick this book and it worth investing my time in. Sometimes, the road of life takes an unexpected turn and you have no choice but to follow it to end up in the place you are supposed to be.

It's a beautifully woven children's book, but not confined only for them. It's for any age, and while reading you get to feel the magic, the author has created and made her reader's a part of it. The character's are beautifully crafted, that they remains with you, even after it's ending! And the names are really unique and I loved it!

I really enjoyed reading the book , it has been penned down in such amazing manner for children with the beautiful journey of ups and downs , there is always a moral present at the end which I loved the most , such books are quite rare these days and help in believing in miracles as well reinstating the lost innocence.

Purchased as a birthday present for a close friend who loves detective stories. Sherlock Holmes is, without doubt, the basis for all detective stores be they on radio, TV or digital media. I would dearly have loved to buy this volume for myself but they are expensive.

I don't think I need to explain the work . The novel is seriously one of the best books I have read in my entire life time. The book was packed carefully and hence it reached to me without any scratches. The paper is a bit of low quality but otherwise everything is great.

A great book with amazing content
I recently read and am so happy I did - it made for the perfect escape! I was mesmerized by the fantastic writing style, engaging plot and heartfelt characters. Seriously, this is one of the best books I've ever read.
