Fitting conclusion to the series, I thoroughly enjoyed reading and recommend that you try this series if you like a murder mystery. There are many twists and turns some you’ll see before they hit you whilst others will leave you in damage control.

Nate is left standing on the sideline because Suede is ignoring him. He wants to work things out now that Toni is gone and he’s been given the go ahead by his commander. Unfortunately he has a protocol to adhere to and Suede tends to be compulsive. Suede never gives up on Riley and stops at nothing, trying to uncover the truth. However, everything comes at a cost and on one hand she had some peace the other felt like holding the weight of the world. Time heals all wounds they say, let’s hope so.

Overall, I really enjoyed reading the six-book series. Suede has been one hell of a character. One minute I liked her, and the ideas she's had while the next I thought she was aggravating and needed to stick to her lane. I was baffled that Riley would be someone I thought he wasn't. I mean he seemed genuine and just confused and mental. I did, however, expect the right killer to be you know who (which I won't mention here and give that away). I liked the ending and thought it best that everyone got what they deserved though I'm still confused about Riley and his character, which means that the author definitely played on my emotions. That earned a five-star review. I'm looking forward to reading more mystery from this author.

I really enjoyed reading this series of books. So much so, that after the first three I proceeded to buy the entire series.

I found that the books got better and better the more I read. I really liked all of the characters.

I actually read all of these books one after the other because I couldn’t wait to find out what happened.

I highly recommend all of these books. And look forward to reading other books by this author.

A final ending to 6 books. I was able to figure out most of the end. It was worth the read.

Let down in my opinion

First half of this book is still gripping. It then gets on joys and imo it just dropped off and ended. Shame as I've loved the series up until then.

As Special Agent Nate Hawthorn wraps up his investigation, Suede Harris takes matters into her own hands.
Not convinced that her friend is the Capsule Killer, she’ll dig deep to get to the bottom of the truth. Will she uncover evidence she didn’t intend to find? Will what she learns bury Riley Pete forever or uncover shocking truths that were best left buried.
Don’t miss the chilling conclusion to The Capsule Killer.

What an amazing conclusion to this wonderful series!
So sad to see it coming to an end but also so excited with the amazing ending that I did not see coming at all!
Such a wonderful well thought out plot and story line that had me engaged throughout.
The characters have been well fleshed out and loved following them on the journey of discovery.
I can say how highly I recommend reading this whole series!
I can't wait to see what this author brings us next.
Highly recommend reading.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Wow what a fabulous series all.round this was.
I loved it and was eager to read more and more.
This book was the final and concluding part of a wonderful series that had me hooked from the beginning.
This book answers alot of questions that readers have built up over the previous books.
I enjoyed reading the thoughts and feelings of the other characters such as the sheriff. His actions and his feelings blew what I thought of him straight out of the water.
This book had alot of action and it was edge of your seat non-stop drama. Some of the twists and turns just weren't expected and showed another aspect of some people which I never saw coming.
I was happy with the ending and whom suede ended up with.
Loved suede interaction with the sheriff.
Would love to see a series develop from here on in and see the characters deal with other murders.

Intense end
Spoiler book 5
Excellent end, full of twists and turns, with the end of this gloomy investigation, even if since volume 5 we know who voluntarily placed certain clues and corpses to help Suede. I was a little disappointed with the evolution of one of the characters, but in the end, this ending is just as surprising.
Riley has been arrested, but at least he is protected from his brother, and it could possibly even clear him of the killer’s murders, although his role in what happened on their property is still quite murky. Suede is surprised but inherited the property of Maggie, the owner of the newspaper, which she also inherits.
I really liked this last part, very intense, surprising, with characters whose relationships change or evolve in an unpredictable way over the discoveries, compared to what I expected

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "EFFECTING THE END" OMG!!!! What a mindblowing conclusion to this phenominal series so much happens it's full of suspense, intrigue, secrets, lies, danger, suspicions, angst, mystery, twists that have you turning page after page.

Suede has gotten closer to her biological father in the conclusion his career changes also, Graham and Suede try to figure out what Riley wants them to know more bodies show up and their still stumped.
I definitely recommend to get this book actually you need to get the entire series W L Knightly has done an awesome job writing this excellent series I thoroughly enjoyed looked forward to every book it's a must have for sure. PHENOMINAL CONCLUSION!!!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the sixth and final part of this mystery series. In this book, Suede is still determined to prove Riley is innocent and someone else is the killer, but Nate won't let her near the case. Nate starts to have his own doubts and is still working the case, even though his boss thinks it is solved. When another body is found, there is more evidence and it looks like the killer is still out there. I really loved this series and the many twists and turns. I think Suede was so set on solving things, she never thought about being in danger herself, I liked Nate and thought he really cared for Suede, but i was unsure if their relationship would survive the case. This was a great ending to a great series. I think this final book tied all the loose ends together well and answered any questions. I look forward to reading the next series.

I really thought I had it all figured out

Suede, our resident criminology student, is having a hard time dealing with the fallout from the case to date. As the story progresses a new pattern emerges, hope is dangled, and once it all shakes out everyone is left surprised. W.L. Knightly’s Effecting the End left me cursing the author for the unexpected twists. I really thought I had it all figured out, but no there had to be that last curveball to throw me off. Well done on keeping the reader hanging on until the end, I can’t wait to see where the author goes next.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

This book sucked me in and held me in its thrall until the very end. And without getting spoiler-y, that’s about as much as I can say. There were big parts of that conclusion that I didn’t see coming at all. But there still a part of me that’s irrationally frustrated that it took these characters so long to see, and act on, the things I was picking up from the beginning. Maybe that’s the nature of small towns though; everybody knows each other’s dirty laundry and the code of silence ensures no one’s sins are exposed.

What a great conclusion to this series. I had figured out part of the conclusion several books back but the other part came as a surprise.
Suede finally gets to meet her father and he finally steps up and helps her in a way she really needed.
I must say the only part I wasn't sure about was Suede and Nate. I didn't really like Nate towards the end and I can't decide if I like how their relationship ends.
It was nice to see the conclusion of all the parts.
Definitely recommend this book to those who like a good Who dunit.

What a ride!

There were so many leads, and so many suspects, with an ending that didn't go anywhere near where I thought it would. The conclusion was action-packed without being rushed, and kept me glued til the very end.

I think I will read just about anything from W.L. Knightly now - I am that hooked!

I recommend this series. Start from the very beginning - you'll enjoy it.

This is the final book in The Capsule Killer and what an ending. This has danger, secrets, suspense and so much more. Suede and Nate are still trying to make their relationship work but with his new partner in the picture it's a struggle. The storyline kept me riveted trying to figure out what would happen next and the characters were intriguing. I would definitely recommend this suspenseful series. This well-written, thrilling murder mystery has suspense, intrigue, many senseless murders, surprises and twists. Our heroine and Hero have been at odds, but could there be a HEA? Just when you think you have it worked out, WL Knightly smoothly switches gears leaving the reader guessing as to the who and why. I loved it. You must read the series in order to obtain the full impact of the storyline. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Loved The Series

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire series. As a long time fan of the mystery genre I was very pleased that the author kept me in suspense until the end. The characters were very believable. So much so, that the main character at times annoyed the hell out of me due to her compulsive behavior. I've already spied another series by the author and can't wait to delve into it.

Well I’m shocked with the ending and didn’t see it coming! I’m not going to spoil it for others and drop a name. Suede starts to look at all the property she has inherited and what she is going to do with it all. As per, Suede can’t stop investigating and her and Graham find more evidence to believe Riley isn’t the murderer!! great series, definitely recommend this book

As this series comes to an end, I thought I had figured out who the killer was until the author threw a surprise into the story that just shocks you! This story has so many twists and turns and the bodies of women in the woods that you are always wondering. Now you get to find out if everyone gets a HEA? Very entertaining and enjoyable series. All the characters are so well developed and the story fabulous. The ending is definitely fitting. My suspicions were confirmed but in some unexpected ways. Riley is even more conniving than I thought. Nate and Suede continue their on-again off-again romance. I loved the many twists and turns in the mystery. Highly recommended.

I loved this series and Effecting the End wrapped the story up so nicely. It’s really hard to review this book without spoilers. There were twists I didn’t predict. The killer was finally revealed. And happily there were no loose ends left for us to wonder about.

This series was a great ride. The conclusion will not disappoint you. A paternity test reported incorrectly by the medical examiner. More bodies found and danger for Suade. Another page turner in the final episode in this series.
