The Foxes Fandango - just look at them dance!
This spirited and lively ABC book is sure to get your toes tapping!

Each letter is represented by a different animal dancing and strutting their stuff as the audience transverses through the alphabet.
Quails quickly quickstep - they're queens of the dance.
The illustrations are bold, beautiful and vibrant. The bright colors really made them pop.

The images conveyed so much excitement and happiness - they were honestly so fun to look at.
Water buffalo waltz - watch them winsomely whirl.
I adored the dolphins dabbing, the hustling hedgehogs and the rocking rhinos.

All in all, this ABC book was really cute and really recommended!

The animals are all dancing in a massive parade of exuberant dance moves! From aardvarks to zebras, every animal group is hopping and stepping and thumping their tails. They show off their skills with the fandango, the waltz, the can-can, the tango, the hustle, and ballet.

The whole book is hilarious and sweet! I loved the rhyming writing style, and how the book takes us through the entire alphabet with various words for each letter. The Aardvarks Arrive, and the Elephants Enchant, and the "Jack Rabbits can Jam- They've got this Joint Jumping." haha! I love how fun and silly this book is! The writing uses such vivid words, and it is a joy to read aloud.

The illustrations are bright and colorful with a fun cartoony style. There are lots of little details in the costumes of the animals that make this book special, and all the animal characters are so cute!

This board book is made of sturdy material, perfect for little toddler hands.

What a cute ABC book! The illustrations are eye-catching and so adorably well done. My nephew is 3 months old and this is his absolute favorite book; he gets really excited whenever my sister-in-law brings it out. He talks along with his mom and talks to the characters in the book. So stinking cute. If there is any sort of criticism, I think the author should have either gone with two words that started with the letter "K" or four words - but three bolded "K's" just isn't a good look. But it was a joy to watch my nephew get so excited to read his ABC book and look forward to reading it through the next time.

This is a fun book to read out loud, with rhythmic alliterations and well-used adjectives! I learned about two new animals- had to pull out an encyclopedia for a board books! The illustration is amazing, with vibrant colors and fun accents to the animals. It’s a daily read in our house right now and I’m looking forward to more from these sisters!

ABC Dance! is a wild kaleidoscope of animals all dancing to the ABC’s. Aardvarks and Baboons to Yaks and Zebras all dance as animals count down the alphabet. They dance everything from the Hustle to the Quick Step. Both the text and the illustrations evoke movement. Some swing while others glide, but all are moving to the beats of their imaginary songs.

Young children will love ABC Dance! Here is a book that encourages them to move around and keep on moving. Parents can share their love of dance, show off their best moves, or simply watch their youngsters enjoy moving with the animals.

“Gorillas are Gliding. Those HedgeHogs can Hustle.”

I doubt there is a kid under age five that does not like to dance, especially with mom and dad. These years pass quickly, much like the Quick stepping Quail. And it is true; research supports the theory that movement can enhance learning. Movement increases blood and oxygen flow to the brain, which in turn affects cognitive development and physical health. Movement helps relieve stress, calms the mind, and directly affects the brain. Movement also allows children freedom of expression. Your child’s cha-cha will probably look much different than yours—and that’s good.

ABC Dance! An Animal Alphabet does an absolute fantastic job of displaying movement and getting children to move along with the alphabet. Before long, they will know their ABC’s and maybe a little about the Quick Step.

ABC DANCE! is a lively and colorful second-level alphabet book. Instead of the usual A-is-for-apple style, this delightful book charges through the alphabet by dancing animal. There is plenty of rhyming and alliteration, plus neon colors and illustrated animals. For instance, "the dolphins are dabbing. The elephants enchant. The foxes fandango- just look at them dance!" Toddlers are sure to be charmed by this graduated alphabet book, the many rhymes, and fun animals throughout.

What I loved: The illustrations are what really shine in this book, with lots of bright colors and fun animals dancing. The text is quite clever as well, traveling through the alphabet with ease and charming rhymes. The font is clear and easy to read, and the uppercase letters make it easy for young children to identify throughout. A nice bonus is the last page spread of all the letters with the animals, so readers can go through the alphabet in the "a is for aardvark" way as well.

Final verdict: Colorful and delightful, ABC DANCE! is a perfect read for toddlers and parents who are looking for a unique alphabet book. With fun animals, neon colors, and rhyming text, this book is sure to be a win for young readers.

Please note that I received a copy from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

In this book, it goes through the alphabet in a fun and creative way. It starts off with each letter of the alphabet and takes an animal and then gives that animal a type of dance move or something that has to do with dance for each letter. For example, for the letter B, they put "Band of Baboons." They make it where the animal and the thing related to dance start with the same letter/the letter they are talking about. Depending on the letter they are on, they bold the letter that they are talking about. So back to the "Band of Baboons" the B in Band and Baboons is bold in the book.

I think that this book could work for grades from preschool to kindergarten. I also think it will work for the early learning school, the schools for 2 to 4-year-olds. I think this age range and grades would enjoy this book because it is very bright and has animals doing fun things. It is a great and fun way for them to learn their alphabet and to start seeing words that start with the same letter.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I love how cute it was. I also enjoyed how fun and bright each page was. This is defiantly a way to keep the child who is looking at it or reading it interested in the book.

I decided to buy this one after really enjoying the authors' other book, Good Night, Baboon!: A Bedtime Counting Book.

This one was advertised on the back of that one. Lily would always point to it and want us to say the title until "they" finally succeeded in hooking us and we bought it.

I'm very glad we did. Not only are the illustrations colorful and fun, but the rhythms and rhymes are great too.

Lily loves it and always wants me to sing the ABCs when we reach the alphabet page at the end. She's also been interested in moving and dancing since she was tiny, so this is an ideal alphabet book for her. She loves it when the camels enter the room ("Room!") and when the otters groove ("Groove!").

Plus... I had to look up what a "xeme" was. I'm still not sure how to pronounce it. Very impressed with the authors for coming up with that one.

Surprisingly awesome little board book. The author truly finds animals for every letter. And accompanying descriptive movement words! The illustrations are great too. I can't describe it, but they ride that perfect line between simple enough for little eyes and flashy enough to grab little attentions.

Celebrating dancing and animals, this ABC book doesn't plod along with one letter per page, thankfully. Creative adjectives and alliteration effectively address each letter, while each page contains about four. (My usual issue with alphabet books is that they're too long and boring.)

An ABC book with animals and really good rhymes. I have a complaint though as I find these kinds of books WAYYYY to visually overstimulating. My baby just kept trying to get off my lap, he needs simple things to focus and too many words and too many things to look at and he OUT.

E gives it a 3/10
