Paranormals of Avynwood #4

Solomon's Surrender

Rate this book
Cocky. No word better described Solomon. He projected the playboy image, but only he knew the truth. Deep inside, he wanted what his brother and friends had—a mate.

Fifteen hundred years was a long time to be alone. Solomon’s pure vampire bloodline and family name made him desirable, but that didn’t take away the loneliness.

Lilah was fiercely independent and distrusting of paranormals out of necessity. Some treated her with contempt because of her half cheetah shifter/half fae heritage. They thought she was beneath them when she was actually superior.

Someone was determined to take Lilah’s life, but who was behind the attacks remained a mystery. Solomon fought off the first assault then became Lilah’s sole protector until he uncovered who wanted to harm her.

One wanted a mate, and the other didn’t. But fate didn’t ask for their opinion. They could only fight what was meant to be for so long before the inevitable happened. If they managed to stay alive, maybe they would learn what it meant to be fated.

Vampire and fae/shifter romance!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙❤️💚💜
Steam: 🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌎
Character development: ☺️🙃😳🥰🤓
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The Hero: Solomon - he is a 1500-year-old vampire, and his brother Ford is a much younger vampire. They used to hang out together all the time, but now that Ford is mated, Solomon has been lonely. He bought the mansion next door to Ford’s on the beach, he even rescues mortals who are drowning out in the surf. Though he declined to become a lifeguard even though he would make those red shorts look so good!

The heroine: Lilah (a.k.a. Constance) - she is half fae, half cheetah shifter. Her father bailed on her and her mom not long after she was born. Her best friend Donovan, a bear shifter just got into a fight at his own bar, he blames it on his brother Alten. He was supposed to become alpha but was kicked out of the clan and now his brother became alpha. Lilah met Don when he was at his lowest and they became fast friends. Now she is able to diffuse the situation, and helps the brothers make up and become brothers again.

The Story: Solomon shows up at Don’s bar and is immediately attracted to Lilah, she sees him right away and is attracted to him as well, but as soon as he opens his mouth and hits on her, she is turned off and turns him down. When she keeps turning him down, he is determined to make that bar his nightly hangout until she finally gives in. Though Lilah doesn’t want a mate, she is young and doesn’t want to be tied down.

I liked this story; Lilah was really afraid of finding a mate due to a fear of abandonment since her mother died when she was born, and her father left her when she was very young. I loved the character of Solomon; he was always throwing out pick up lines and sexual innuendos. He was pretty funny and a great character. Like the previous books in this series, there were great supporting characters including the main characters from the previous books. This series isn’t quite as steamy as some, but the stories are good.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Sarah Colton and Troy Duran. I really like both of these narrators; Sarah has a great voice and sounds age appropriate for Lilah. Troy Duran is one of my favorite male narrators, his voice is deep and sexy, and I love just about anything he narrates. Both are terrific at showing emotions through their voice.

Solomon may seem like he's hard to deal with, but he's loyal to those he cares about. The only thing that doesn't seem to be a possibility for him is finding his mate. He's convinced he's meant to be the playboy he pretends to be until he meets Lilah. Lilah is dead set against finding her mate. She'd prefer to be alone over the possibility of anybody leaving her. To keep from finding her mate, she refuses to touch anybody.

I've been waiting for this book! While it didn't fully meet my expectations, it was amazing. I loved it. I read it too quickly! That's okay. I plan to read all the books in this series over and over again! It's an amazing series. While it didn't have to be read in order at all, I'm glad I did anyway. I'm even looking forward to the next book as well.

Solomon is one of my favorite characters in this series. He's just witty and charming. He's definitely on my book boyfriend list. He's like Eric from True Blood but not as brutal. I really liked Lilah too. She had a lot of pain, but she was willing to be upfront and honest about everything. That's not something you see a lot in books. They usually just assume what the others are thinking or feeling about them.

Troy Duran and Sarah L. Colton were as amazing narrating this book as they were the rest of the series. I absolutely adore their style. I will definitely look for other audiobooks that they narrate to see if it's biased from the series or if I genuinely like their style. I'm leaning more towards the style honestly.

I fully recommend this series. It's been very fun to read and I'm looking forward to the fifth book. I believe it comes out in a couple of weeks, but I can't be sure. Hopefully, it won't be too long before there's an audiobook version of it. I've listened to the first four. I may as well complete the tradition.

Lilah has no interest in love or finding her mate as she witnessed first hand what happens when one mate loses another and she doesn’t want to have to endure that pain herself. She is part cheetah shifter and part fae who won’t back down from anyone or anything. She has found a home working at the bar that her bear shifter best friend Don owns, and she was content with her life until Sol entered the bar and her life and refuses to leave.

Sol is a vampire from a powerful family who would be happy to find his mate but until then he is content with playing the field. From the moment that Sol met Lilah he knew she was special even if she refused to let him touch her. When there is an attack on the bar Sol comes to her rescue and he has made it his mission to keep her safe until they discover the truth behind the attack.

I really enjoyed Sol and Lilah’s journey. She is feisty, fiery and destined to be his mate both in heart and attitude while Sol’s ego and confident personality knows exactly how to get a reaction out of her and everyone in their lives. Heat and humor combine with great secondary characters of family and friends. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and the choice of the narrators couldn’t have been more perfect for these characters. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

How I love the Verascue brothers. Solomon is looking for his mate. All his friends and family seem to have found them except him. He wanders from one female to the next not finding his true mate until he wanders inside a bar and finds her. Connie (Lilah) is a cheetah fae who tends bar at Grizzly Don’s Tavern. She was abandon by her father and never met her mother because she died in childbirth. Lilah has magic and can read minds her strong wit and attitude has protected her so far but in comes Solomon. Who is this arrogant man who can break into my thoughts? Soon she realizes that Solomon is not a nobody and he will not give up on his quest to win her over. But will she give him a chance and is there someone trying to hurt her. I always love his strong the female characters in these books are and these characters keep drawing you in to the story and wanting more.

These stories just get better and better, connections to the characters, the side characters, bring you right into the story. I must have skipped a story of Ky’s since I last read was Ford’s story so there is some new developments I missed out with since then. I’ll have to get Kyla and reread Solomon’s story again to fill in the missing pieces.

I enjoyed this paranormal story. It's a good addition to the "Avynwood" stories. This is a fun fast paced story that is also very intriguing with mystery and suspense. The characters are strong and likable. Love Lilah and Soloman! Great chemistry between them. I love the twists and turns in their story.

Omg I’ve been waiting for Solomon’s story and of course I was t disappointed at all. Solomon has finally found his match in Lilah but she wants nothing too do with him. I love how protected Sol was with Lilah and of course when they finally got together it was absolutely perfection. I absolutely love this series and every character and I can’t wait too read more. Another amazing 5 star read that will have you glued too your kindle.

✯✯Solomon Filled Stars!!!✯✯

Eek!! I wanted to dance along to Ren & Stimpy’s song Happy Happy Joy Joy when I saw Solomon’s story was the next one who’s story was being told!!

Lilah s a young cougar shifter. But, she’s not your typical shifter. She’s half cougar, half fae and she’s a loner. It was just her and her dad after her mom passed away. When her fae side came her dad abandoned her. Her closest friend Don, a bear shifter who owns the bar she works at.

Lilah’s not looking at finding a mate. It’s why she doesn’t touch anybody. When Don has a family emergency he has to go home. He calls his vampire friend Tristan to come help Lilah. She thought that was going to be hard enough. Until Solomon Verascue struts into the bar and instantly looks her way and no other afterwards.

Lilah lets him know it’s not happening and yet Solomon keeps coming back. Lilah had Solomon under control until somebody blew up the bar and tried killing her. Everything changed. Solomon, Ford, Tristan and Don all agree and urge Lilah to stay with Solomon until they can figure out whose after her and why.

Solomon’s been alone for centuries and it’s never bothered him before. But with his brother and best friends finding their mates, Solomon’s finding himself wanting what they have. He’s not actively looking for a mate but the minute he laid his eyes on Lilah he was a goner.

When somebody blew up the bar his first instinct was to make sure Lilah was safe. Solomon will do anything to keep her safe and eventually make Lilah his.

But the longer they’re together the farther away they are from finding any answers. Whoever is after them knows a lot about them. Even though Lilah insisted she didn’t want a mate she knows with just one touch Solomon’s her mate and the longer they’re together it’s harder to fight it.

Lilah might’ve been young. But, she never backed down to her feelings or what she believed in. She didn’t cringe when Solomon’s mom walked in the door and tried intimidating her. Even though she still had abandonment issues from her father she didn’t let that ruin her.

Solomon oh Solomon... I’ve loved him since the very beginning. He’s a son, brother and friend. He’s a joker. He’s a protector to the ones he loves. He’s a fighter. That’s what I’ve known him as. But, in this you see he’s also lonely. With everybody finding mates he’s afraid of being alone and wants to spend his life with somebody. When he meets Lilah he knows they belong together. Even though she wasn’t sure about them Solomon would wait another century for her to figure it out.

I loved this story!!! It had everything you’d come to expect, love and need in this word of the Avynwood Paranormals. No joke!! That epilogue was epic. I legit lmao and then wanted to cry bc it was over. Can’t wait for more from this amazing world!!

Fabulous Story & Audible Listen🎧 Sol💘Lilah!
Solomon's Surrender
Paranormals of Avynwood, Book 4
By: Michelle Dare
Narrated by: Troy Duran, Sarah L. Colton

I loved everything about this book, from Michelle Dare’s wonderful writing style to the story and characters she created to Tory Duran & Sarah L. Colton’s fantastic narration. Michelle Dare is a gifted author and I just love the imaginative world she created as well as all the different supernatural paranormal beings who live in that world and amongst each other. These include Vampires, FAE, different breeds of shifters and hybrids. I started this series with the 3rd book so I did miss familiarity with some of the recurring characters from the 1st two books, but that did not take away from my enjoyment of this book, it just made me want those books even more. This book swept me in right from the start. I liked Lilah, her story pulled at my heart, I pictured a 4 year old packing her stuffed animals. I admired her strength and got her reserve & reluctance to get close to anyone. Then comes Solomon, oh my what a character, I just adored him, his sense of humor and his cocky mind. He had his work cut out for him with Lilah. When her life is threatened Solomon goes in to protective mode and wants to keep her safe. They convince her she is better off staying with him. I loved how everything plays out in this book, there is never a dull moment, with plenty of drama, great humor, angst, action, twists, thrilling suspense and some hot romance. Michelle Dare, thank you for another great & entertaining story, loved that fun epilogue I am looking forward to going back to catch up on the 1st two books and the fascinating character in those books.

I listened to the Audible edition, Troy Duran and Sarah L. Colton are fabulous narrators and voice artists. They continue to bring these characters to life giving each their own voice and personality. Their portrayal of the characters is spot on, they do them all justice and sound just as I picture them to. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen🎧

Solomon has been waiting to find his mate, he doesn't know if it will happen. He is at loose ends with everyone he knows being mated. He can't keep bothering his brother. He goes to into the bar for a little action. His eyes are drawn to the female at the bar. He is instantly attracted to her, even more powerfully when he goes and speaks to her.
Lilah is helping her friend run his bar when he has a family emergency. She is working the bar when Solomon walks in. She doesn't want a mate or anything. She is attracted to him, but wants nothing to do with him.
When there is attack that endanger Lilah, she and Solomon end up spending a lot of time together. They are trying to stay safe and find out who is doing it, who are they after.
They find out that they are mates, but Lilah will have to figure out what she wants, Lilah will go back down from the way Solomon is either.
Will they be able to figure out who behind the attacks before it is to late, is it really Lilah or someone we can't believe

This is a great book, love the dynamic between Solomon and Lilah, how the author brought in old and new characters in. Once you start reading, you really don't want to stop until you find out how it all ends.

Look forward to the next book.

I thoroughly enjoy diving into the world created by Michelle Dare once again. In this newest installment, I saw and appreciated a different side to her world. Previously, Solomon seems happy to keep to himself and watch the others live life for the most part and hiding his true emotions behind his shenanigans. The tone of this read may seem a bit more subdued, in some parts, do not fret, all of the author’s outstanding humor is still there and our favorite characters make their appearances, when needed, with all of their own personalities shining bright.
When I first found this series, I will be honest, I was unsure if I wanted to read due to the main character being in High School but I was enjoying the humorous quips and writing of this amazing author. By the end of the Ariana Trilogy I could not wait to devour the Avynwood Series. With all the different personalities there is someone for everyone (maybe more than one for me!)... now I will tap my foot and wait impatiently for the next adventure.

I would recommend all to read this series because this is a world that is relatable, with characters I want to hang out and create havoc with in the good times and have at my back all the other times.

My beloved Solomon, finally his story. I want to first start by saying I absolutely love his mom she is HILARIOUS! Now onto my review....

Solomon hides a lot behind his jokes but he is lonely and has been for some time and can't wait to find his mate. Little does he know that he would stumble upon her on a random night out to the bar. Solomon was out being his normal flirty self only it did not take with Lilah or Constance ass she likes to go by. This immediately draws Solomon in and he refuses to leave her alone.
While Solomon is trying to get Lilah so much is happening in the background causing a blown up bar, a bombed house and more. This causes them to spend more time together slowly falling for each other. Lilah is hesitant to love because she is afraid of losing them somewhere amidst the danger she decides to give into love finally giving Solomon his HEA. Even though he has found his mate he still remains himself and I absolutely love it.
The bed scene, slightly altered, resurfaces and I enjoyed the surprised reactions each time the owner of the bed realizes they have a guest. It's like a ritual that brings the group closer together and keeps them together in unconditional acceptance.
This book was more up to speed of the other books in this storyline and I was happy to read it after the previous two.

This was my first book in this series and I liked the different presentation of the paranormals. Sol and his brother actually watched out for the safety of humans, not as an expectation, but because it mattered to them. That was a very nice, unique touch to introducing us to their world.

Solomon Verascue himself was an unmated playboy by reputation. But with everyone around him finding their mate, he wanted to find that special someone for himself too. When he wanders inside Grizzly Don’s Tavern, he finds Lilah, a cheetah shifter/Fae bartender. Among her skills, she is magical and can read minds, bringing Sol to her attention. She is a strong female, but will she give Sol a chance to prove himself worthy of her? She definitely brought out the good side of Sol! When someone is determined to take Lilah’s life, Solomon became Lilah’s sole protector. Who was after her and why?

I really did enjoy this book with its banter and light humor that draws me right in! Solomon and Lilah’s story is a delightful romance and friendship that makes the reader experience positive feelings for them. Will he find his happiness? Will he find his fated mate? Grab your copy and find out!

He's mine! Sol is mine!

Michelle Dare does it again. Solomon's Surrender brings to life everyone's favorite PITA. You can try and deny it but Solomon is the plucky comic relief in this cast of ever expanding paranormals. Its safe o say he has always been my favorite.

Solomon finally...FINALLY gets his mate! I know I'm making a big deal out of this but he isn't exactly a spring chicken. This "distinguished " vampire has 1500 years under his belt. A long time to be lonely...

As to be expected with Sol, his story has plenty of comic relief intertwined with his unique storyline. I love the squirrel like tendencies, they make me feel like I could be a Verascue!

Though I gave Michelle Dare crap for not naming Sol's mate Becky, I can see how, maybe, Lilah was a better choice...*coughs maybe*. (I'm sure she's just wait for Tris to find me or even Titus...I'M SURE THAT'S THE DELAY!) If Michelle can't get her act together, I will just have to stalk Lealla for my turn. #goals

If you are new to Avynwood (shame on you- I mean welcome!), your absolute best bet is to start with Ariane's trilogy. The rest of you should know Sol is mine but you can totally read about him.

Michelle Dare has done it again. Throughout her paranormal series she has dangled Solomon, Ford's brother, like a carrot before her readers. She's finally delivered Sol's story and it is so good. Sol has been a fierce ally, a devoted brother, and a real pain in the tuckus in the Avywood series, so his fated mate is going to be just as hard to wrangle as he is. Lilah comes with a tragic backstory and though she is much younger than Sol, she is mature beyond her years. Enter one cocky vampire into her life and sparks fly. To say their relationship is explosive is an understatement on more than one level and Ms. Dare puts the couple through their paces before their HEA.
I love that Ms. Dare always gives glimpses into past couples lives, even if they are brief. Her characters are filled with loyalty, friendship, passion, and love and when a couple is fated all those traits meld into an epic love. Can a shifter/fae who doesn't want to have a mate really be fated to the 1500 year-old vampire who's slept his way around the globe? I loved this story, and highly recommend the entire series.

Once again Michelle Dare brings an incredible addition to the Avynwood Series! I fell in love with all these characters back in the Ariane Trilogy and I have to say I have yet to be disappointed by any book in this spin off. Solomon is a character I grew to love a whole lot through previous books and it’s an understatement to say I was excited to finally see this playboy meet his match.
What I wasn’t expecting was the softer, sweeter side that resides within him. There is definitely a whole lot more than meets the eye with Solomon and Lilah certainly brought brought that out with him. I was positively swooning every time he showed that secret side of himself with her. I was also laughing like crazy at his usual antics too though, so it’s a toss up on which I loved more.
Solomon and Lilah have a story that’s bursting at the seams with romance, friendship, mystery and suspense. Michelle Dare has me glued to the pages and staying up waaaaay past my bedtime because I couldn’t put this one down!

Another great book in the Paranormals of Avynwood series. Solomons surrender can be read as a standalone but the story is tied to the other books in the paranormals of Avywoods series and Aryanne trilogy.

This time is Solomon turn to find is mate. Hes a Fifteen hundred years old vampire and thats a lot of time when you're alone. Hes from a pureblood family line and the Versacues are a really well know family but that doesnt take away the feeling of beeing lonely. Until he meets Lilah, a beautiful paranormal whos half shifter and half fae. Her mother having died giving birth to her and her father abandoning her when she was four, shes not ready to beeing mate for fear the lose another person she loved.

But when someone try to kill her, Solomon become her protector until he can find out the mysterious person behing the attack.

I have really love this new books in this great serie. Looking foward to another book in the paranormal of Avynwood world.

The eagerly awaited book for Solomon was an interesting mix of fun, danger and surprises. Solomon is always portrayed as a "goof", not really serious ever, very snarky and thinks he is all that and a bag of chips. Ms. Dare has completed a difficult feet by showing us what lurks behind his cocky attitude. Living for as long as he has is sure to be lonely, meeting Lilah ( Connie) came out of the blue and sends him on an interesting quest to find out why the female intrigues him so much. I love the interactions between the main characters, the age difference is sure to be a big issue but Kylist and Raven overcame it so Sol and Lilah will too. I had to laugh at Sol's antics to annoy the young lady, but I knew he would ware her down. This story is easy to read, fun, fast, has great characters and a mystery to figure out. Lots of twists and turns. OMG, his mom is a blast, I hope to someday get her and Seth's story. hint, hint. :) A great addition to this awesome series. I eagerly await what comes next.

Audio Review:
Solomon's Surrender (Paranormals of Avynwood, Book 4) is the next installment in this electrifying series. I absolutely loved Solomon's and Lilith's romance. Just when you think you have your favourite, the next audio just gets better. I love this pie-in-the-sky cosmo that this author created with diverse supernaturals paranormals. Riviting with plethora of dramatics, angst, action, humor, romance, suspense and unexpected twists seeping through the pages. I loved how it ended with a cheery epilogue. A entertaining listen, looking forward to listening to the next audio in this paranormal romance series.

Narrators Troy Duran, Sarah L. Colton were the perfect choice to narate this series. These two are on my top list of narators. I absolutely love Troy Duran's inflection and could listen to him all day long. They bring the characters personalities out, while portraying them exactly how I would picture them. Each character is given a distinct voice. They are highly entertaining narators and I'm looking forward to listen to more audio's narated by them.

Solomon and Lilah's story is the fourth book in the Paranormals of Avynwood series. You can read it as a standalone but honestly I think this series is best read in order. I've been intrigued by Sol since he first appearance in book one. He's funny, very confidant and outgoing. Sol may be a player but what he really wants most is to find his fated mate. He wants what his brother and friends have all found, that one person who connects with your soul and makes you feel whole. Lilah is the exact opposite, she doesn't want a mate so she goes out of her way to avoid touching people. She walls a mile high, doesn't trust easily and takes no attitude from anyone. She feels a strong pull to Sol but he also drives her crazy. Sol wants Lilah and no other female will do, he's almost positive she's his mate but she won't allow him to touch her and find out for sure. Steamy, funny, absolutely loved their story.

Another great addition to the Paranormals of Avynwood series!

We've met Solomon in previous books, he's sexy, he's funny, he's very cocky! We believe he'll never fall in love or get a mate and he's fine with that....or is he? He meets up with Lilah, a woman who will test his attitude, his patience and his view of ever finding/wanting a mate.

Lilah works at Donovan's bar. They are best friends and she loves him so much. However, he definitely is not her mate. While working one day this gorgeous man comes in and tries oh so hard to impress her. She's not amused. But, at the same time she's attracted to him but refuses to touch him just in case he's to be her mate. She's not interested nor is she ready for that...ever.

Gotta say Ford and Solomon are my favorite characters in this series. I was so happy to read Solomon's story and read intently, non stop as Michelle Dare pulled back Solomon's layers one by one! He's such an amazing vampire!! Great story!!

I am LOVING this book! Soloman has been a favorite of mine since he showed up...well Ford was first but then Soloman was so prominent in his book that he became my new fav. He is an antagonist and cocky which make for the fun parts of the book. He also is very protective with anyone he loves or is family.

Soloman cracks me up! I really love his attitude and demeanor. Troy Duran does an amazing job becoming playful, sarcastic or sexy Soloman. I could listen to him all day!

I want to give a shout out to Michelle Dare. She did amazing with this story and these characters! Lilah is the perfect compliment to Soloman. I know I said this last book but this is my new fav of the series!

I did listen to this on audio. Troy Duran and Sarah L. Colton narrated. I can’t even! These two do an outstanding job with these characters. They do more than just read the book. They add so much more!

Everyone in Avynwood has a mate; everyone except Solomon. Even Ford, his younger brother, has one and he can’t wait to find his own. Is that fate in the cards for him?

I loved Lilah and her no-nonsense ways. I loved the way she stood up against Solomon’s mother and didn’t allow anyone to talk down to her. Solomon was sarcastic and funny. He can get annoying and often did, but he was loyal and willing to put his life on the line for those he cared about. He and Lilah were a perfect match.

As we get to read their story, we also get to see how the rest of the Avynwood crew is doing. We get the usual romance, mystery, and friendship that we’ve come to expect with these characters. Michele Dare once again gave us a story worth reading. With a hero and heroine that will surely keep us entertained.

Wow. What a great book and characters. Even though I am late coming into the series with Sol and Lilah's story that just means I have lots of earlier books to enjoy. Even though this book is a part of a series it contains lots of focus on just our H and h as they discover each other and work through their various issues with being mates. I like all the internal dialogue so we can see what each are thinking even if what they say doesn't scratch the surface. You get plenty of both of snark, depth of character as well as action written in a voice I thoroughly enjoyed reading. My biggest question is which book in the series to read next, Ford's story, Wake's story, Kylest or the original Ariane Trilogy.

I have been a fan of Solomon's since the beginning. Him and his brother are just amazing characters who have such loud and our there personalities, they demand attention. Sol is just wanting what everyone around him has his mate. He meets Lilah a bartender at a local bear shifters tavern. He just knows she could be the one, but she wouldn't give him the time of day let along touch her. Lilah is a cheetah/fae shifter who is so guarded she will not let anyone close to her. Sol isn't willing to give up and when danger comes he isn't letting Lilah out of his sight.
I liked this book but I thought Lilah was a bit much she was pretty much rude and disrespectful to many people especially to Sol's mom. I liked them together and all new characters we met. The whole twist was unexpected but worked. This series keeps me so interested and entertained.

One of my absolute favourite genres are Paranormal Romance so I was really looking forward to listening to Solomon's Surrender. With a well-developed plot that held my interest throughout and great characters that I wanted to know more about; this story delivered on all fronts.

In hindsight I wish I had listened to previous books in this series before I listened to this one. This does work as a standalone, but I also felt I was missing out.

The narration was pleasing to listen to and I felt that both Troy Duran, Sarah L. Colton delivered a sterling performance. I listen to several audiobooks a week and am picky with narration as it can make or break the story that they are telling. Troy and Sarah delivered on characterisation and have a talent for bringing this story to life.

Solomon's Surrender is the fourth book in the Paranormals of Avynwood series. It is one of the best. Actually, they all are the best. The bonds of family are a strong theme in these books, and you see it in this storyline as Lilah and Solomon are in a situation in which their family, blood and acquired along the way, are fighting against an unknown attacker. This only brings them closer together, and seeing them mated up is fun.

Solomon's Surrender is an engaging and entertaining read you will not want to put down, with drama, paranormal action, suspense, and so much more. The characters will become part of your dreams. I can hardly wait to read the next book in the series, An Avynwood Christmas featuring the Verascue brothers.

Solomon is lonely and wants what everyone seems to have found their mate. When Solomon meets fiesty bartender Lilah he becomes hooked. This half fae half feline shifter makes everything in him come alive. She is afraid when he comes to pursue. She is young and he is a 1500 year old vampire who come from a line that is almost royalty. She has issue from losing her mother from birth and her father abandoning her at 4 years old. It’s hard for her to trust someone and let them into her life. But when an unknown enemy targets her it will be Solomon to the rescue. He does not give up, he does not runaway he will protect his mate, family or friend until the last breathe in his body.

Book four......so, so amazing, there no words that can do the book the justice that it deserves.

This is book four and the first three books must be read before this one as the characters and story cross over from one book to the next, but I promise they are all worth the read.

This book is filled with vampires, fae's and shifters, but the story is for Solomon and Lilah, he is vampire royalty and she is part shifter part fae, and their worlds collide one day when Solomon walks into the bar she is working at and Solomon will stop at nothing to get the women he wants and then when things start exploding he will do everything to protect her and find out who is after her.

I love the devotion that Solomon has for Lilah, this book was just amazing and cannot wait for the next book in the series.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Solomon and his cocky personality has been a favorite of mine in all of the Avynwood books. Solomon finally gets his HEA. Once he lays his eyes on Lilah, he knows she's different. Lilah doesn't need a mate. She's independent and can take care of herself. Working at her best friend's bar, a paranormal walks in and his cockiness drives her crazy.
The Paranormals of Avynwood is easily one of my favorite series. Michelle is a fantastic storyteller and knows how to suck you into this world she created.
I loved Solomon and Lilah's story. The final scene had me LOLing hard! I can't wait to see what happens next.
