Lacks background
So, who is she? This book starts with same situation at gate that concluded the previous book, but that is all we ever find out - still have no idea of Serena’s background - no who, why or how she came to be in the camp or at the gate. It’s a whole aspect of the book that is missing ….

This is another great addition to the Genetically Altered Humans series. It is very well written and entertaining. It is a part of a series, but can be read as a standalone. I am missing a few books before this one and I could follow along without any troubles. The book flows very well and you get enough information to keep moving along at a good pace.
Possible Spoilers Ahead...
This book is about Pax finally finding his mate in the human Serena. Serena is used to attempt to take down Pax with a bomb strapped to her chest. Come to find out the bomb is a fake and someone was just waiting for Pax to get close so they could start them both on fire. Serena ended up with major burn damage and Pax feels responsible. He, and his fellow aspects, attempt to help save her by creating a bioskin that could replace her own.
This book is about Pax and Serena falling in love and their adventures together. It is also about Pax finally learning to love all aspects of himself - which is what I love most of all.
The book flows so nicely that you can’t seem to put it down and end up staying up really late, like I did, to finish it all. I really love this series and can’t wait for the next addition!

The most bazaar story of this beloved series! I mean come on, six of you can pop out of you! You always have someone to be with and never be alone. BUT, Pax has trouble excepting his other selves. But then the time comes....
Serena Blackfoot an abducted female, strapped with a bomb to her front, is seeking out Pax. At the front gate of the Xeno compound, he finds her kneeling, wrapped in a special designed cape. She needs him to deactivate the bomb. Unfortunately, Rena is a setup to be part of the destruction as a flaming arrow sets her on fire.
Back in Pax’s lab, he needs everyone of his selves to help save her life. Rena and all the “Pax’s” spend a year together and get to know each other(s) very well. And Rena meets herself, in a very bizarre way!
It’s a story of discovery, expectants and one very bad robot! So, if you want to know more, you know what you have to do! I recommend you read it, it’s such a sweet story. The best one of all of the Xeno stories.

More than six!
Wow! I guess one would never get lonely with six (or more) aspects of your personality with whom to hang out. When around-the-clock care / monitoring is needed for their badly burned guest, Serena, it’s certainly convenient! Pax is a brilliant scientist; I don’t think anyone else could have saved her life after that vicious attack. That selfsame brilliance did bring a heap of trouble on them, though.
It’s a kick seeing the different aspects, the personality traits they exhibit, the way they behave with each other. Of course, Serena isn’t aware of this right away. She just thinks Pax is a very moody guy!
Serena is a brave young woman. She’s been through SO much. I love seeing her interact with all of Pax, and watching them grow closer. A deliciously entertaining book featuring one of the more unusual Xeno Sapiens. I love it!

This is another great book from the genetically altered humans series by Rena Marks. Pax has the ability to allow his different aspects or personalities to form into actual physical clones of his body. They are born from his body when they want to be and can be reabsorbed as well. Even with these aspects around him, he is lonely often. Along comes Serena, a kidnapped woman being used to attack the city. She is almost killed by fanatics and Pax must help save her because she is his mate!

September 25, 2019Humans and aliens.... this story includes a different kind of alien. Not saying but it has something to do w personality(s). Nope, not quite what you’re thinking. This is a HOT story so.... I loved it, I’m all about freaky aliens, lol. I started at the end of this series of books. Think I need to start at the beginning, wow!

Fabulously romantic with an edge of intrigue
I have enjoyed the whole series so far, each and every book is filled with different aspects and intrigue, I’ve enjoyed the romance and the beautiful intriguing, and exciting love scenes, I enjoy the camaraderie and excitement looking forward to the next book in the series, thank you for such wonderful characters waiting anticipating the next book hopefully soon

Pax has the ability to split himself into shards. Each shard is one type of personality-Happy, Jealous, Vain, etc. When a human woman is injured near Xenia, he is responsible for her skin replacement. Serena is grateful to Pax for his intervention but wishes he would stop keeping her at arm's length. Love sometimes can an unexpected form or should I say forms.

Book ten in the Genetically Altered Humans series a well written story I want to read the next book, I want to know if Leah has been beaten. I enjoyed reading Serena and Pax's story. Loved it!
I have been waiting for Pax to get his book and I was not disappointed. Great story, love all Pax different parts of his soul. The book is funny, sad and wonderful. Looking forward to Trance's book next!
