There's a lot of good information in here, but Part 1 and 2 aren't organized in a way that makes sense to me. I feel like the book is also missing a basic overview of the crucial pieces of info and advice; (what I see as) crucial info has been peppered into random sections' paragraphs without emphasis or repetition.

In my opinion, these pieces of advice/info are crucial:
1) consult your doctor before trying keto
2) change your diet to mostly whole, mostly homemade foods over weeks and months before you consider switching to keto
3) keto relies on making your own foods (if you don't want to do that, or can't because of a chronic illness, then trying this diet is basically out of the question)
4) you shouldn't do keto forever (which makes it a "diet" and not a way of eating that will keep you healthy forever)

I would have also liked a section to explain the chemistry of ketosis. Lastly, since I know there are articles which explain the damage longterm ketosis can do to the body, even if the author and consulted experts disagree, it would be better to face the issues head on and explain away any concerns rather than publishing a book that seems to state there cannot be negative ramifications.

Many keto books are filled with the same info regarding this “way of life” but each has its own uniqueness. This one stands out. Bright, bold and simple. There is no scientific jargon, it’s clear and to the point. Covering all things keto. I love this one the best.
Bonus, tried 3 recipes already and they are great! Each with beautiful pictures.

Quick impressions: As a starter book, this is average. Once you get past the theory, which can get a bit long, it gets better. For the recipes, pick out ones you can try with some ease, see how they work for you, and go from there. I liked the book, but I will be reading others to compare and learn more.

I expected more information about potential setbacks in the diet to justify the price I paid for it, but it's still showcasing most of the needed info about for the beginners.
