Bailey Jones is a family therapist, not an event planner. But when her friends ask her to organize the first Christmas carol competition Sapphire Bay has ever seen, she can’t say no. Especially when the money raised will go toward another house in the tiny home village. When she meets nine-year-old Mila Butler at the local homeless shelter, her heart melts. When she hears her sing, she’s in awe. Music could change Mila’s life, but her father wants to keep her out of the spotlight.
Steven Butler spent eight years fighting a war no one could win. His time in Afghanistan cost him his wife, his sanity, and everything he owned. With his spirit broken, the only thing that keeps him going is his daughter. And nothing, including a woman with the kindest heart he's ever seen, will take Mila away from him.
When tragedy strikes, Steven and Bailey have to decide what's more important - being afraid of the past or building a future they never saw coming.
Silver Bells is the third novel in the Santa’s Secret Helpers series and can easily be read as a standalone.
Leeanna Morgan is a USA Today bestselling author. She lives in New Zealand surrounded by green hills on one side and the ocean on the other. She enjoys going for long walks, especially if she can convince her husband and two children to go with her!
Leeanna writes contemporary romances set in Montana. Her books contain all of the things that are important to her; good friends, family, a strong sense of community, and a happy ending.
I found this author recently thru a free book offer and have enjoyed the books. They’re easy bed time reads and I like the emphasis on the story, without pages and pages of steamy sex. This isn’t the best of the series, but it’s stilla nice book..
The story of Bailey and Steven was excellently written and very true-life believable! The addition of Bailey's Italian family was just the right amount of humor!
It's amazing that each book pretty much follows the same theme, yet each one is so different! And, it makes me wonder what could possibly happen in the next book?! I will read on...
Small town clean romance. Nice light reading involving a close knit community. Each book is a stand alone, but does have recurring characters so it feels more like extended family than just a community.
A double helping of magic...Christmas in Sapphire Bay!
And as soon as you meet Bailey, Steven and Mila you are hoping they get every bit of magic they deserve. We have met Bailey in previous books, we know she is a doer but here we get to see just how big her heart of gold is and you cannot help but like her. Steven has clawed his way back from the depths of PTSD, compounded by the trauma of his wife's death. He lives for Mila and the love he shows that gorgeous little girl will melt your heart, but can he find some love and happiness for himself? Can he accept that he is allowed to move on and feel happy once again? I loved this third book in the Santa's Helpers series but I am really, really excited for Pastor John's book in November....have we finally found a woman who can rattle his calm demeanor?
