In a world where witches and werewolves are common, Angel Meyers is both; and that makes her life complicated. If anyone finds out what she really is, she’ll never be safe. She just wants to live life on her own terms - do a good job policing her fellow witches and avoid her mother’s attempts to set her up on blind dates. Some days are better than others.
When she stumbles upon a black witch, she finds herself deep inside werewolf territory, and face to face with a sexy Alpha wolf. Now she has to race to stop a deranged killer, and avoid starting trouble with the rest of the pack; all while trying to ignore her growing attraction for the Alpha.
Hello! My name is Danielle Grenier - by day I am a programmer working in the bay area, and by night I love to write fantasy novels. I've always enjoyed strong female characters and rich, well-developed fantasy worlds, so I try to build those aspects into my own work. I'm just getting started as a published author, and I'm loving every minute of it!
So I'm going to ruin this book's perfect 5 star rating but sometimes I think that a book with only 5 reviews and all are 5 stars means it's all people who know the author. The book's unique idea of a witch\wolf hybrid is the books best quality. I assume this will be a series and the storyline will be explored further. Who is Angel's father? Did her mother lie to her? Etc. However, the writing was just okay. Angel was strong and independent but the author didn't convey this well. She really just made Angel kind of rough around the edges and slightly annoying. If the next book was out right now I would probably read it but it's not. When it finally comes out I probably will have forgotten about this book and won't continue the series.
It's a nice book to read. Nice, that is the appropriate word. The alpha of the werewolves is said to be dangerous but he is a nice family guy. The hunt for the black isn't full of suspense but predictable. I liked reading it and will read the 2nd because it's a nice & enjoyable story. But don't expect too much depth.

I’m quite surprised by how much i liked this book ! It passes in a really cool world that i want to hear more about ! Lots of possibilities for where the story will go ! As the book was coming to an end i got really worried we would get a rushed HEA but thats not case ! Now me and my curiosity are waiting anxiously for the next book in the series !!
