There are several things I've always known growing up as the alpha's daughter. The most important ones being:
1. My twin brother Cord was the perfect choice as successor to our father. Mostly because I wanted nothing to do with being an alpha-in-training. 2. I had two of the best friends a girl could ever ask for: Cord and Augie.
Then everything changed when my brother was murdered, and I found myself needing to prove to my father I was more than capable of finishing what Cord started.
When I'm sent to a meeting for alphas and their heirs, I quickly learn things are way worse than I ever thought. Especially when a cocky shifter forces his way into my life, making me second guess everything I ever believed.
If I can't figure out who to let in and who to keep at bay, I could not only be risking my heart, but the people I love most in the world.
I've already lost my brother, and I'll be damned if anyone else dies on my watch.

This is my first Heather Renee book and it definitely will not be my last. Shades of Fury is the first book in the Raven Point Pack series and it tells the story of a young female werewolf, Taya who suddenly finds herself in a position of power. A position she inherited when her twin brother was murdered and her father was placed in a magical induced coma. Prior to his death her brother had discovered some disturbing information. Taya now finds herself on a mission, along with her best friend Auggie, to investigate her brother’s findings, locate the person responsible for his murder and a witch who could remove the spell from her father.
This fast -paced story had me hooked, and I found myself completely immersed in the story. I didn’t want to stop listening.
I loved the characters. Taya is strong, determined and a no-nonsense female shifter. I loved how she stepped up to the challenge when she suddenly found herself thrust in a position of leadership.
Initially, I thought her friendship with Auggie would become something more. However, as the story developed it was evident their feelings would go no further than being good friends. I enjoyed their banter and loved how they could be real with each other.
There was a hint of romance. What I found interesting was Taya’s initial resistance to Liam. His cockiness did not impress her, even though her wolf recognized him as her mate, and who could blame her. Eventually, he mellowed out, and she found herself drawn to him. The romance was served as a side dish to the intrigue.
At the end of the installment, the incidents that occurred at the start of the story were yet to be resolved. I already have book 2 lined up so I hope to get my answers soon.
Narration Kasi Hollowell did a great job with the narration. It is my first time listening to her, and I liked her voice. She did a great job in bringing out the characters’ personalities. I look forward to listening to more of her work.
Conclusion/Recommendation Overall, this was a good start to the series. I enjoyed the humour, action and the characters. I would recommend this book to fans of urban fantasy.
Taya is determined to avenge the death of her twin brother, protect her pack and stop the dark forces that led to brother’s murder. What she doesn’t count on is her attraction to shifter and Alpha in training – Liam.
The pacing was a little off, and I just didn’t feel a connection to the characters and plot. The emotional intensity that should have manifested in certain scenes just didn't appear.
This is a fairly typical werewolf pack business romance driven by a solid interpack mystery. All the usual alpha driven drama with the requisite sexy guy as the prevailing love interest. At this stage of the series it is sitting firmly into the YA NA genre, with no sexual interaction.
After the murder of her brother Taya is named alpha-in-training for her pack and is out for revenge. Unfortunately, she has new duties to attend to first like mingling at the alpha gathering. When her father falls mysteriously ill help comes from an unlikely source in the form of three brothers from another pack. They have to work together to unravel the truth and possibly save the entire shifter community. I picked up this book since it was recommended by one of my favorite authors. At first, Taya seemed like a snarky, kick-butt female lead - just the kind I like - but her reactions throughout the book were all over the place. This is YA so I expect some teen angst but she was irrational to the point of annoyance at certain points. Liam starts off as cocky and they but heads, then immediately jumps to being her savior. The story just didn't seem very well put together and the character motivations were not well presented. I skimmed through just to see if it got better but was disappointed by this book.
Writing- Just okay. The abrupt cliffhanger was insane. It felt like an unfinished sentence was left hanging. Also, grief was not handled in a realistic way. Example- within hours of realizing her twin was dead, she was commenting on how hot the other pack’s leader was. Also, when her dad was in a coma and possibly about to die the following week, she was able to banter with her almost-boyfriend. It just didn’t ring true to the traumatic circumstances. The book was so short that a lot of the storyline and characters weren’t able to be fully developed.
Characters- The FMC is a bit aggressive for my taste. Example- When the FMC walked in on her almost-boyfriend having an argument with her male BFF about not notifying him before the FMC met with a dangerous witch, the FMC snapped at him rudely. I mean, treat the guy with respect, especially if his concerns stem from how much he cares about you. She’s just a bit hot-headed for me. The other characters are cool.
Romance- Chemistry was average. The male love interest was interesting at first when he was playing hard to get, but then he was all-in and it became too easy too quickly. Considering how this novel was super short, that was a quick transition.
Content- Language- some f-words Substance abuse- none Spice- clean, a couple kisses Cliffhanger- yes (and crazy abrupt) Cover- ok Format- audiobook Narrator- good
Well dang, I'm in an emotional tail spin from what went down in those final chapters. Like I don't even know how to process that. I'm stuck in this like dream state and its like I just woke up and have no clue what is going on.
I'm kinda freaking out
I'm soo totally blaming Heather for my inability to put my book down and sleep last night there's a good thing there's such a thing as coffee. So no one better get in my way lol.
Ok lets talk a little bit about the book and not my violent tendencies (I promise I'm totally calm in real life haha) bets all the people that know me when it comes to books are thinking this.
This world was truly very well constructed, I easily fell into it and loved how the storyline developed and unfolded. It was a slower development but honestly it didn't bother me in the slightest because I felt the information I was being told and learning the characters just felt right, so I never really stopped to think about that fact.
I really loved all the characters in this book and loved seeing the pack bonds (this is always my favourite part in shifter stories) and as new characters were introduced. Totally fell for our charming, arrogant Liam (I don't know what it is but I always love the jerks - don't know what that says about me tho lol) I just love watching as a deeper side is shown and this happens fairly quickly with Liam he is overbearing and protective almost instantly but you can tell that he is automatically intrigued by Taya the girl that doesn't let anyone tell her what to do.
"Liam was annoyed Augie hadn’t gotten him before letting me go outside. Overbearing brute. He was going to learn quickly that nobody let me do anything."
The nickname Caleb (one of Liam's triplet brothers) Firecracker was so very fitting for her spunky, firey personality and it definitely make me chuckle.
“What’s with the Firecracker nickname?” I asked, probably not wanting to know, but curiosity got the best of me. “Your hair.” He reached out his fingers and brought it toward him. “There’s red woven in the brown. Plus, the name fits your attitude.”
Seems like Caleb agrees with my thoughts too and although Liam never called her that he totally agrees she's bossy but well what did you expect from an Alpha's daughter?
"Liam’s chest let out a rumble. “You’re very bossy. My wolf isn’t sure what to do when you challenge us.” I laughed. “Tell your wolf to either deal with it or walk away. I won’t be tamed.” Liam’s heated gaze leveled on me. He took a step closer to me and brought his lips to mine, kissing me senseless. “We’ll work it out, don’t you worry,” he mumbled as he backed away."
I loved the bond and tight friendships that were made throughout this book and the ones that existed pre book (man I love Augie and her friendship he's a friend that everyone wants). They felt so real and hence to me extremely well crafted. The new friendships were made in a way that just made sense. They were slow to build but also quick enough that you saw the naturalness of these friendships. It's the kind that you know were just meant to be.
I am extremely intrigued to know where the next book will lead lets just hope I don't freak out too much coz these guys feel like family to me too. (weird but true - that's when you know a book has been done well).
Thank you so much Heather for this incredible start to your series. I can't wait to read more.
PS guys the Audible narration by Kasi Hollowell is fan-flippin-tastic!

DNF at 30% Not sure why this book has so many 5 stars. The beginning was hardly a beginning, and when her brother died, the transition from that to the actual plot was terrible. She was literally thinking of having sex with men, RIGHT AFTER she learned her brother died. I don't think she cried once, and she also kept saying she was falling apart, but not once did she act like it, she just went on to do her everyday stuff. She acted like a cocky hero that nobody likes in a lot of crappy shifter stories. She also comes on too strong, calling the hero names, and how he's not her type, when it was their first meeting, and he literally didn't say anything to her. I can already tell the hero and heroine are gonna be MCs I hate, and the storyline was too rushed and boring, so didn't bother finishing it.
Took forever to get past the first few pages, and the only way I managed it was to quite literally force myself. I hate to be what others consider brutally honest, but I am so seriously disappointed right now. This book blurb promised such good things, but the novel delivered absolutely nothing. My summary of the book: Guy gets killed, but we don't know him so whatev. Blah, blah, blah. Predictable things are said. Blah, blah, blah. Predictable things happen. Blah, blah, blah. Predictable kissing, "mate?" and growling. Blah, blah, blah. Cliffhanger on a plot that went nowhere. Right after the cliffhanger ending, "Find out what happens next in Shades of Magic..." Nope. If book 1 delivers nada, then book 2 is going to be more of the same. I'm out.
Taya knows something is off, but never expected it to be that her beloved twin brother Cord is dead. Taya realizes that there is more going on to the story, that Cord was murdered researching a crime in the werewolf community. Taya is determined to uncover the truth and avenge her brother, while at the same time train to be the next Alpha of her pack in Cord's spot.
I love everything werewolf- it is a fact, I will read anything I can get my hands on that deals with werewolves (I mean really, who can resist the mate bond?). So when I saw the cover for Shades of Fury I was instantly intrigued by the book, the synopsis hooked me for sure. I ended up reading this in one day because it was so easy to get lost in the story, the writing was very approachable and the plot pacing was just about perfect. There was a little bit of everything in the story, be it action, danger, intrigue, pack politics, witches, spells, battles, mystery and a blooming romance that I can't wait to have more of.
I did find it a little disconcerting at how touchy-feely Taya and her best friend Auggie were, it felt like it was a little more than just friends when the book began, and I was afraid this was going to turn into a love triangle- I am happy to report that this is not even a little bit a love triangle (which makes me happy!). I forgave the touching since I am not a toucher (so maybe this is normal BFF behavior) and they are wolves who like touch in general. And while I mention that there is romance in the book, it was not the main point of the story, just a an interesting tidbit that has the potential to grow into something wonderful and possibly a giant conflict- but that will be in another book.
I listened to this on audio and I am super picky about my narrators. I am happy to report the narrator was an absolutely perfect choice to narrate the story as well as bring Taya to life. She had emotion and personality, I felt like with the mix of writing and the narration, Taya became a real person that I could understand and relate to. She also did a good job of making distinct voices for the other characters as well, and I would love to listen to the rest of the books in the series narrated by her.
I can't believe the ending, what a way to end abruptly and make me need more! This was as cliffhanger as an ending can get, with a big surprise dropped and the story ended. I have so many questions and I really, really need the next book. I found Shades of Fury to be fast paced and engaging and I loved the werewolf dynamic (werewolves are my favorite!) and world created. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes paranormal action stories with mystery and romance.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Taya seems to have drawn the short end of the stick in this story. With the loss of her brother looming over her...along with the fact that her father (the Alpha, btw) is in a coma and on the brink of death...she is now forced to consider taking over his position with her best friend as Beta. When she decides to set out to avenge her brother's death...and ends up trying to find help for her father, she is determined to set things right by wiping out whoever it is that has decided to mess with her family.
Loads of touch decisions need to be made, and there is a definite heat between Taya and Liam, the hot shifter from an East Coast pack. Will Taya be able to keep her cool long enough to do the things she needs to? I'd recommend this book to readers that enjoy urban fantasies with strong female protagonists and werewolf shifters.
Shades of Fury is the first book in the Raven Point Pack series, which follows the Alpha’s daughter Taya’s as her life is tipped upside down. With her best friend Augie by her side, Taya needs to overcome her internal battle to become the wolf and leader her pack needs.
The characters and storyline as so well written by Heather Renee that I was hooked with this emotional, fast paced and captivating story. I can’t wait to read the next book in the YA/NA series.
Loved this so much!!! What's not to absolutely love?! Taya is one strong shifter. She is protective of those she loves and is one fierce personality. Liam.... well let's just say hello to Mr. McHotty! He is also a strong personality but a total marshmallow as well when it comes to his girl. He is sure to become your next book boyfriend! It's squeal inducing to watch the sparks fly! Caleb will make you smile and Augie is totally the best friend that everyone should have! When things become difficult Taya will need these guys by her side. There are plenty of heart pounding moments as well as those that will make you melt. With dark magic, posturing, competitions and attitudes the entertainment keeps flowing! Heather Renee is such a gifted author. She is not afraid to toss the snark and salt around, but totally knows how to create the steam and those sigh inducing words. Her stories possess this unique zest and each character is so individual that it's a joy to get to know them. I'll happily purchase anything she writes!! Beware.... this ends on a cliffhanger that will totally leave you desperate for the next book😉
Genre: A young adult contemporary werewolf romance with a strong female lead and dramatic pack politics, mixed with a mysterious murder.
My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
What I can tell you about this book:
Taya was never supposed to be Alpha. Her twin brother, Cord, was always better with people anyways, and was a natural leader with a better temper than Taya. But when Cord is found murdered- most likely by another pack- Taya finds herself trying to pick up the pieces he left behind.
Taya finds herself thrown into a conspiracy surrounding disappearing humans, and thinks she knows where to find answers. But searching into the secrets of a dangerous pack makes her a target- and all those she holds close.
Time is ticking for Taya to save the innocents and the people she loves. With the help of a handsome shifter named Liam, Taya can only hope to survive long enough to try.
This werewolf drama was completely entertaining and drew me in right from the beginning. It was easy to listen to, with a nice plot flow that brought us from one conflict to the next as the story developed. I thought Taya was a strong POV, and her character was original but not overwhelming (you know what I mean?).
Her friendship with Auggie was refreshing and there was no love triangle here, and the was romance with Liam was pretty fast-paced, but I rooted for them despite the problems they faced, cause I mean, what is a good romance without obstacles?
I did feel that the action near the end was a little unplanned– if I had to pick a word- on the characters part, but I know there are multiple books in this series to expand action over. And the ending was a cliffhanger that will totally drive Taya to the hardest moment of her life.
I’d recommend this to: Lovers of werewolf romances who want an easy read, but want to buckle down for the long-run and binge-read the trilogy.
I’d compare this to: Twilight-level drama and romance, mixed with the strong female-lead and werewolf politics of Nightshade.
This book had a decent story line and I enjoyed most of the characters. The alpha's daughter is hotheaded but she also needs to be a good leader. The two don't really go hand in hand.
Swearing and talk of sexual things. So not very clean but not overboard either. I was mostly tired of the alpha's daughter's attitude. Hoping it improves.
Title: Shades of Fury Author: Heather Renee Publisher: Heather Renee ISBN: B07F5K1SXB Buy Link: https://www.amazon.com/Shades-Fury-Ra... Reviewer: Teresa Fallen Angel Blurb: Raven Point Pack 1 Taya's just been named alpha-in-training. First order of business: avenging her twin brother's death.
When Cord connected a rival pack to the disappearances of humans, he paid the ultimate price. Now it's up to Taya to pick up where he left off and find justice for those who have been harmed.
As she closes in on her brother's murderer, the threats only escalate. He wasn't the only target, and now everyone she loves is in danger, further fueling Taya's need for revenge.
With the help of an irresistible shifter named Liam, they set out in search of the only witch coven strong enough to set things right. Only Taya isn't sure who to trust and if she doesn't decide soon, she could lose not only her heart, but the people she loves most.
Total Score: 5/5
Summary: Taya’s world changed the day her brother Cord was killed. Now instead of being free to choose her path, Taya has taken her brother’s place as alpha-in-training. Taya learns from Augie, her best friend, that he and Cord had been looking into strange happenings at one of the main packs. This investigation may have lead to cord’s death, but they still don’t have enough information. The upcoming alpha meeting could bring things together and Taya is determined to avenge Cord’s death, but things are about to spiral out of control threatening all they hold dear.
This was a fast paced intricate story that was brought to life even more in audiobook format. The narrator allowed each character to come to life for the reader as the story unfolded. Add to the confusion in Taya’s life is a very forward and cocky alpha, Liam. Taya’s wolf seems to have a thing for Liam even when she can’t stand him. Things are about to become more complicated than anyone can imagine.
This was a great shifter book. For a change this author has created a shifter world not so obsessed with archaic patriarchal pack politics, but a more modern and less restrictive one. And I enjoyed it immensely. The author's writing is great, just flows and reads fast. The main character is Taya, pack alpha's daughter who has to grow up fast after several tragedies strike her pack and her personally, and she has to step up and take action. Taya is an incredibly lovable character, as she is strong, independent, skilled, brave, stubborn, intelligent and sarcasm drips from her in heavy amounts. I could not have imagined a better female protagonist myself! Then there is a series of fantastic male characters starting with Augie, Liam, Caleb, Aiden, and many others. The plot is gripping, fast paced, and incredibly enjoyable. There is a some romance but it takes a back seat to all the intrigue and evildoing. The idea itself is quite interesting and original and I could not put the book down, it was that good. And I started reading the next one immediately because it ends on a cliffhanger. So warning, to those who do not like cliffhangers, buy the next book immediately, you will not want to stop reading. Reading order is: Shades of Fury (Raven Point Pack Trilogy #1), Shades of Magic (Raven Point Pack Trilogy #2), and Shades of Deceit (Raven Point Pack Trilogy #3).
I am super surprised with how much I liked this book it’s been a while since I’ve read a shifter book that I legitimately enjoyed.
I assumed with the main character being 18 that it would be a typical YA PNR. Wrong. Taya is the teen female main character I never knew I needed. She’s a boss ass bitch, but humble. She’s mature, acknowledges her faults, chooses logical actions over emotional impulses, and is actually really realistic in her actions, behaviors, and dialogue. All of these things are saying a lot for a character of her age in a book like this. And the romance isn’t the typical “we kissed on the lips and the earth shook” kind of teen romance. The girl wants to get laid. She’s fully comfortable with herself and with her life. There’s no awkwardness of someone trying to figure out who they are. Also she says “what is this f**kery” within the first few chapters. So of course I like her. I am super happy with and attached to her character.
The plot develops quickly (action in the first paragraph) so there’s not long info dump sections or world building. Relevant info is given as needed throughout the book. I thought the plot and conflicts were pretty decent as well.
I really enjoyed this book. Kudos to the author. On to number 2.
This was an incredible start to a new series! Humans are disappearing and Cord, the alpha’s son, realizes that a rival pack is responsible. Their father is in a coma, Cord is murdered, and now Taya, his twin sister, has to take his place as the future alpha with her best friend, Augie, as beta. She’s out to avenge her brother’s death, find justice for the missing humans, and find help for her father, but pursuing the rival pack and murderer puts more of the ones she loves in danger. I loved Taya’s fierce, strong, and snarky personality and how Augie keeps her grounded and safe. Liam and Taya obviously have undeniable chemistry, but both of them are trying to fight it. I liked that this book focused more on the story than romance and it was filled with action, loyalty, and many twists and turns. This book had me on the edge of my seat and left me wanting more! Kasi did an amazing job with this narration! She put so much emotion into her performance and brought every aspect and character of this story to life. Her voice drew me in from the start of her performance and I loved the different voices she gave each character. *I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Not a bad introduction to the Raven Point Pack Series.
Shades of Fury introduces you to Taya. She recently just found out that her twin brother has been killed and has watched some of her beloved pack members fall down as well. Including her dad, the alpha, being in a coma. She is on the hunt for revenge but also for some witches. Every pack needs theirs help but they are pretty hard to find and if they ever step on the witches territory their peace treaty with them is null.
So, yeah, she is definitely having a tough time right now. It also doesn't help that she might have met her potential mate too. Not sure how things are going to work out between them since they are both alpha's in training.
This book definitely had some drama in it and the romance, which this book didn't have a lot of, was okay as well. Not sure how I completely feel about her and Liam but that's because I don't really know much about him or his family. They just kind of seemed to become friends rather quickly and I guess I will just see how things all play out.
In the end, I will definitely dive into the next book.
I received an Audible code from the author for an honest review. What follows is my opinion and mine alone. There was no compensation for this review
Shades of Fury is the first book in the series. It centers around Taya, a wolf shifter, and her mission to protect not only her pack but also humankind. Right off the bat, I was into this story. You may think this is more romance from the blurb, but I felt it as more an urban fantasy with a romantic element.
The writing is well done. It's engaging and pulls you in. Likewise, the narrator was a great choice. She gave an already well written Taya a voice. Also, she wasn't bad with her male voices. I didn't have any trouble discerning who was who.
As a story, it is fast paced and ends on a cliffhanger. I do want to listen to the second book and I do really like Heather Renee' as an author. I'm going to have to read more.
What a fabulous start to this promising trilogy! I loved the paranormal world the author created with shifters and witches, and you are quickly pulled in to the dilemma the packs are facing within their own community. Taya is a feisty and fiery “firecracker” — determined to protect her pack, save her family and fight for what is right. She is a strong female in a very alpha world, and doesn’t let any man or wolf deter her from what she believes in. The supporting male characters are quite interesting, and I enjoyed the teasing and banter between her peers. There is no shortage of action and adventure in this intriguing tale, combined with a budding romance and a cliffhanger that will make you want to jump into the next book! Listened to on audio, the choice of narrator was excellent. Kasi Hollowell gives a stunning performance as Taya, and her other voices were quite impressive as well.
If you like badass, independent female werewolves with some seriously, amazing wit, then you need to hop on the train that is the Raven Point series and start reading! (Or listening!) Our lead protagonist, Taya, starts off in a rough spot in the beginning of the story and faces a trial that nobody should have to endure during their lifetime. But she doesn’t sit and wallow on the subject, along with her best friend Auggie, she decides to take action and defy orders to make things right and give her enemies their ‘just desserts’! Along the way we meet a sexy set of triplets, Liam, Aiden, and Caleb! (Though Taya, renames them Larry, Moe, and Curly 😂) One being her mate.... Though she’s conflicted on whether or not she should listen to her wolf and go along with the idea.. JUST GO FOR IT TAYA! (*we all scream*) So many questions need to be answered! Will Taya be able to save her loved ones?! Books 2 and 3, I’m coming for ya! 😈
This is a quick read and flows well. However, the story jumps almost to quickly with its timeline, taking place over a period of 8-9 days total.
One of the first events is the loss of her twin brother which feels totally glossed over and almost unimportant.
The details between the main character (sorry she has a few nicknames that by the end I’ve forgotten her real name) and Liam and Augie are almost in too much detail, but then the events (battle with Declan) is lacking in detail.
Then the book ends on a complete cliffhanger, rather than giving you any resolutions.
The writer does have talent, I did finish the book and I did find parts well done. It just feels as if the book could have used insight of a good editor to provide some direction on where to tighten up some parts and offer guidance on not to drop a cliffhanger. Which I’m going to assume it’s Davis who will give his life.
This first book in Heather Renee's new series blew me away. It's not just another shifter book - there's grief and heartbreak, humor and friendship, warmth and family, determination and vengeance. I loved the multi-dimensional characters. Taya is forced into a role she never wanted by suffering losses that would break most, but she's a strong-willed wolf shifter and leans on those close to her to find out how to get revenge for her family. Along the way, she meets an intriguing shifter from another pack, as well as his brothers. With their help, she searches for the only people who might be able to help. I love that Taya and Liam don't just instantly fall for each other, and they don't get all lovey-dovey like so many storybook romances. They drive each other nuts, which is real life. ;) I am absolutely smitten with this new series and cannot wait for book #2!!!
This is a beautiful start to this Werewolf trilogy!
Poor Taya gets everything thrown at her and then some. She has a network of people to back her up. I was very proud of some of the decisions she made given her circumstances. For anyone who enjoys werewolf lore, this is a must read. I was a little worried as we rolled into the final catalyst of the first book, but Heather set up one hell of a fight.
Liam is perfect for Taya so I can't wait to see how that turns out. His brother's aren't bad either. Everyone needs a Caleb to keep them on track the right way. My favorite character by far though, is her best buddy Augie personally. He's the one I want a spin off book about. Pretty please! Then again, there are two more books in the trilogy, so we'll see.
Audio book review This is my first listen in Heather Renee's new series. There is heartbreak , hope and love , loyalty for family and mystery. Heroine is Taya. Hero is Liam

Tanya and Liam have an attraction but they both are fighting it . It’s great that Tanya not only has An Alpha Even though from another pack as a friend but his brother as well . N Will Tanya find justice . Grab it and see
Kasi was good telling this story. Her voice is strong, clear and smooth. She did all the characters great
I pretty much loved everything about this book. There is revenge, magic, shifters, love, hot guys and more. Taya is a hothead, but she has a good heart. Her best friend Augie keeps her grounded, even when the most terrible thing happens and she loses her twin. The author kept the twists going through the book. I love Liam and his family, even if I wasn't certain I would.
The narrator did a fabulous job of giving the characters voices. You could feel what they felt through her narration. Love the pack dynamic and how much everyone truly cares. The author also left us on a cliffhanger and feeling whiplash from the last couple chapters and I'm needing to start book 2 immediately.
Absolutely a 5/5.
I won this audiobook as part of a giveaway and was not in any way required to review it, much less leave a positive review.
