I just keep making mistakes.

It was supposed to be an easy job. Steal a timepiece from Hook and in exchange, find out where my little sister is. But the hero isn't always the hero and sometimes the bad guy is the person you least expect.

Now I'm scrambling to get to Belle before she's gone forever, trying to repair the connection to my Lost Boys, dealing with a blackmailer, and oh, did I mention? I'm going to prom with Lucas Hook.

I'm Ever Darlington and yeah, things just got even more complicated.

Guilt, betrayal and lies continue in EVER FOUND, book 2 in the Lost Boys of Neverly Prep series, a dark and dirty fast build/medium burn contemporary RH academy romance based loosely on the characters from Peter Pan. Complete at 53,000 words. All the players are over 18 and there is another cliffhanger, but I promise it will be worth it!

3.75 but rounded up this time.

I'll be honest, I almost put it back down again after the first 10%, as bullying makes me rage. But I'm glad I didn't because they sort their shit out reasonably quickly, whibh I was pleasently surprised to see!

We still get a bit of HIGH school drama and bitchy girls and teenage characters with millions of abs and all of those cheesy rich American teenage things that I don't like in books, but I quite liked the relationship development, and the reveal if what Peter is hiding and the mystery surrounding it adds a bit more depth. I also liked the developments with thw guys and Luc. And the group scenes, my favourite thing about RH, sort of deserves a star of it's own.

So overall, after a shaky start thins was a quick and mostly enjoyable read and would probably be a very enjoyable read to someone who doesn't find my previously mentioned things annoying.

Starting with the bad. I was expecting the cliffhanger but didn't rage more tired. It was going so well and then...yeah kinda disappointing but still looking forward to seeing how this ends.

Onto the good. I enjoyed it more than the first book, the bullying is pretty much non-existent and thankfully there isn't much of Peter, yet he still manages to cause misery. The guys and Ever are great and not so Riot heavy this time but would like to see more of X. Plenty of decision making and character growth all around.

Felt very short and went quickly, didn't have to change the kindle settings this time around. Favourite character was Luc, the guy deserves a happy ending.

A generous 4 stars. Rounding up from 3.5
Another Buddy Read with the Cake eaters @RHR

I had kind of forgotten where I was when I picked book 2 back up but all I really needed was this sentence to get back into the zone

”came here to find Belle. Period. Then I made the mistake of caring about three boys I shouldn’t. And then, when I had the means to the end in my hands, fucking Trey comes along and blackmails me.”

It picks right back up where we left off, with Ever caught by Trey and being blackmailed by him into a fake relationship with Luc Hook. All in effort to piss off the “Lost Boys” Riot, X and Baz.

And piss them off it did. I wasn’t a fan of the way they turned their back and Ever and the many promises to “ruin her life forever” where a little aggressive and distributing. It brought it back into the soft-core bullying that was at the bringing of book 1. So we’re kinda whipped back and forth between these guys loving and hating Ever.

If book 1 was the Riot show then book 2 is Baz’s time to shine. He was the only likeable one for me.
X is still on outskirts and Baz was the only constant one for her. I find Riot too aggressive in general. He forces himself on her a lot and I don’t get the impression it’s always wanted. She’s independent but lets these guys take over a lot.

So I’m not shouting my love for it from the rooftops but on the other hand it’s entertaining and easy to read and follow.
A lot of questions are answered and I’ll be looking out for the next one!

Alright, the good and the bad.

Good
Lots more character development and bonding

Some fluffy happy filler
Some serious tension relief from all the drama from the first book

Bad
Sooo much teenaged drama. I think that might be a personal preference though, i'm not a teenager anymore so I might just be too old and jaded xP

Not enough X, he seems to be getting lost in the chaos.

The Neutral
The cliffhanger ending, i'm not too sure how to feel about it.
On one hand, it's a solid way to drum up interest for the next book. On the other hand, it worries me that a certain character's personal tragedy is going to be brushed aside and presented in a shallow way.

Side Thoughts
Luc. He needs some happy.

Ohh my god! That was an ending.

L.e.Bross has again given us a fantastic captivating read. Her writing style is superb. Everything about this book is just brilliant. Excellent story line, fantastic characters full of depth. Each character has been brought to life it really feels like your in the book with them, experiencing what they are.

Love the relationship between the LB and Ever. The RH side of it is subtle but gteat. Very steamy scenes but not obscene.

The story keeps your attention right from the beginning. I found the pages just went by so fast. It was over way too quickly. Gutted that we now have to wait foor book 3. But you know what they say... all good things come to those who wait.

Cant wait for book 3. This is a brilliant read. 5 stars from me. And that ending has left me reeling...
OMG i hope riot is okay.......

Book two picks up immediately where the last one left off. And, it's just as good--ok probably better than the first one. A lot of info is revealed but along with that comes some new twists and turns. I love that this series isn't a typical bully book (i.e. let's see how dark amd depraved we can actually go but still have the FMC faun over and forgive the assholes.)
Looking forward to the conclusion!

4.5 stars!

While I enjoyed Ever Lost, I felt like I was left so confused and with tons of questions when I finished. But with Ever Found so much was cleared up and answered, while still being an amazing story that I couldn’t get enough of!
I am truly enjoying this series and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

I really enjoyed this trilogy and cannot wait for Luc's story. The heroine was as ballsy as can be and it was her spitfire personality that really brought these boys to their knees, but they needed her just as much as she needed them. I loved the suspense aspect of the trilogy and it wasn't overdone like some I have recently read.

This was even better than the first book. These books do have a lot of steamy scenes but they are more focused on the plot, which I appreciate. There's allot of mystery as well, which makes this series anything but predictable.

I love Ever and her Lost Boys! I absolutely loved this second book in the this series! It was even better than I expected! The characters all have a rough past, but together they just work and they begin to realize that and start trusting in their relationship more in this book. I loved learning more about all the characters past and there was still plenty of shocking moments! Oh and some heat! Your heart will break, heal, and break again as you read this story. Beware you'll need to hold on tight to your kindle at the end so you don't throw it or anything! I am so excited for the last book and to see just how their Ever After comes together!

Wooooo what a ride

Definitely some tear jerker moments in this book. Well for me anyway. Seeing the struggle these characters go through and their development was amazing. You can feel the raw intensity of what the characters go through. You can feel the push and pull of the hurdles they go through and overcome. I love this series. Definitely another to add to my favs of the year. Cant wait for the next one. And that cliffhanger! Omg! Its going to be a struggle waiting to see what happens next.

⚠️ warning. This book ends on a cliffhanger.

I love this series! It’s has a very interesting theme with Peter Pan. But Ever is amazing and the Lost Boys care so much for her I hope it will all work out. There are so many twists and turns and secrets that nothing is as it seems. I dying to know what comes next for them it seems like their time is running out.... Not to mention how can it end in that cliff hanger my feelings are so raw right now!

Back With Ever

This is a throw your kindle and curse type of book at the opening! It starts where that last one let up and the emotions are real!! Ever just seems to get worse luck. The boys are still smoking and when things start to take a turn for the better they start to get really steamy!! I loved the twists not his book too and couldn't see the at Last one coming at all. Can't wait for the next!!

I adored this book just as much as the first book!! I love Ever as a FMC!! She is so strong and tough but also somewhat vulnerable at times! We pick up where the last book ended it’s a must to read the first. Her boys care and love her so much and I can’t wait to see where it goes and what decisions are made in the final book. This book had mystery, suspense, romance and a cliffhanger!! I can’t wait for the next and I need it really soon!

Cannot wait

I can’t wait for the last book to wrap the series. Her relationship with these boys are amazing and I can’t wait to see what decision she makes. Ever and the LB’s make each other stronger and better. They grow with each mother and I seriously hope it continues! Can’t wait!!!

Ever is trying to juggle the various threats to her and the guys while trying to earn back their trust. I love Ever’s fierce side and that she and the LB’s challenge each other to grow. Their relationship is hot and explosive, but I kind of still wish Luc was added in :) the ending is shocking, and I can’t wait to see how the story wraps up in Ever After!

Ever Found

I absolutely love this series and so glad I have it a chance. Love how it has a new modern day spin around of Peter Pan in a way. Be sure to read the first book before this one. I hope the wait isn't long for the third one!!!!!!!!!
