Running the family B&B has always been Cassidy Ryan's dream. But first, she has to save it from neglect. Closing the doors to the Silver Bell Inn for the holiday seasons seems like the perfect plan to give the B&B some much needed love and care. Or at least it would be if the inn didn't need a lot more work than Cassidy can handle on her own. She needs help. But asking it is the last thing she wants to do. Getting stuck in Silver Bell Falls was not part of Beckham Allen's plans. Neither was this cross-country road trip, for that matter. He was supposed to be focusing on himself and on healing after the loss of his father. But nothing, not even his rescue dog Mazie, seems to be able to break him out of his funk. Or so he thought until he met the sweet innkeeper who takes him in. After an awkward start, Cassidy and Beckham discover the perks of being snowed in together. And with Christmas drawing closer, they find they may have just been given the greatest gift of all.
Samantha Chase is a New York Times and USA Today bestseller of contemporary romance that’s hotter than sweet, sweeter than hot. She released her debut novel in 2011 and currently has more than seventy titles under her belt – including THE CHRISTMAS COTTAGE which was a Hallmark Christmas movie in 2017! She’s a Disney enthusiast who still happily listens to 80’s rock. When she’s not working on a new story, she spends her time reading romances, playing way too many games of Solitaire on Facebook, wearing a tiara while playing with her sassy pug Maylene…oh, and spending time with her husband of 30 years and their two sons in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Cassidy Ryan took over her family's Silver Bell Falls Inn. It needs renovation and Cassidy decided to fix it during the winter through Christmas so it'll be ready for Valentine's Day. (🤔Does this make any sense when you're in Christmas town?)
Beckham, a retired NFL pro takes a road trip with his dog after his father died. The trip is to honor his father by visiting places he wanted to see. With heavy snow and low visibility, Beckham swerved his van to avoid hitting a deer and crashed into a tree. While waiting for the van to get fixed he stays at Silver Bell Falls Inn.
Book #5, Christmas Inn Love isn't a novella like other books in the series. I wish it wasn't a full-length novel as the story is stretched too thin. Cassidy isn't very likable and their romance felt forced. She's an inn owner but feels weird when a stranger (Beckham) stays at the inn!?? haha haha
What I like are the town's people who appeared in other books. It's fun to "meet" them again when they show up at the inn.
Thank you Inkslinger for an advanced copy which I voluntarily reviewed. All opinions expressed are my own.
Christmas Inn Love By: Samantha Chase
*REVIEW* ❄❄❄❄ This story is so delightful. Cassidy is remodeling her family's inn in Silver Falls when she takes in Beckham and his dog, Mazie, during a snowstorm. Beckham is a stranded traveler on a journey of grief for his late father. Cassidy is determined to prove that she can remodel the inn. Although it's an unconventional way to meet, the snowstorm might be the best thing for both of them. Beckham helps Cassidy during his stay, and a meaningful relationship begins to develop. Beckham and Cassidy are good for each other, but once the storm passes, will Beckham continue on his journey, or has he found his destination? Cassidy is independent and strong, but maybe she's lacking something after all. Will this situation bring heartache or an unexpected blessing? I enjoyed this story for its heart, charm, loveable characters and depth of possibility. I definitely recommend if you want a great read with all the warm fuzzy feelings you can imagine.
With a handful of irony and a pocketful of heart, Chase sets about putting a smile on your face. Christmas Inn Love brings a new beginning for a couple of lost souls. Stuck at a crossroads, both personally and professionally, it's up to fate to bring back the sunshine and put a little love in their hearts. Sometimes we have to lose ourselves in order to find out where we belong. Cassidy and Beckham give lost and found a bit of holiday magic that sets off sparks in the heart. Chase and heartwarming are a perfect fit for romance.
Yes, a woman being rude is soooooo adorableeeee and endearinggggggg. Her attitude is looked over because she’s “pretty”. This isn’t what we should be teaching. The sex scenes were cringy and didn’t fit into what we knew about the characters. I felt like the book could have been 50% shorter.

REVIEW: 3.75 stars--CHRISTMAS INN LOVE is the fifth instalment in Samantha Chase’s contemporary, adult SILVER BELL FALLS romance series focusing on the town and people of Silver Bell Falls, New York. This is B&B owner Cassidy Ryan, and former professional football player Beckham Allen’s story line. CHRISTMAS INN LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. There is a slight crossover with the mention of the author’s Magnolia Sound series.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Cassidy and Beckham) CHRISTMAS INN LOVE follows the building relationship between B&B owner Cassidy Ryan, and former professional football player Beckham Allen. Days before Christmas Beckham Allen found himself snowbound in the small town of Silver Bell Falls, New York when his vehicle spun out of control injuring himself and his dog Mazie. With no available lodging Beckham is forced to take a room at the Silver Bell Inn B&B, where the proprietor struggles to accept Beckham at face value. Enter Cassidy Ryan, owner and manager of the B&B, and the woman with whom Beckham will fall in love. What ensues is the building but forbidden relationship between Beckham and Cassidy, and the potential fall-out as Beckham’s time in Silver Bell Falls comes to an end.
Cassidy Ryan is struggling to complete the renovations to the Silver Bell Inn. With no plans for the Christmas holidays, Cassidy sets her sights on Valentine’s Day hoping the Inn will be refurbished on time. Beckham Allen is bored out of his mind in Silver Bell Falls, and battles between head and heart when it comes to ‘aiding’ our heroine with her ongoing renovations but a call from a friend finds Beckham leaving town sooner than he had anticipated.
The relationship between Beckham and Cassidy is one of immediate attraction but Cassidy struggles in the face of renovation h*ll, and caught with the interruption of unexpected guests. Having bought the Inn from her newly retired parents, Cassidy found the upkeep and renovations to be more then she could afford especially for our heroine who struggles to be independent and on her own. The slow building romance is passionate but mostly implied.
There is a large ensemble case of colorful secondary and supporting characters with the small town mentality of in-your-face gossip and business including Bailey Walsh and Gavin Maguire (A Christmas Rescue #4).
CHRISTMAS INN LOVE is a story of friendship, family, romance and love. The premise is entertaining and engaging; the romance is sweet; the characters are strong willed and energetic.
Cute story - very typical of it's type. Christmas out the ying-yang. However...
The thing that kept me from rating it was the contractions in the heroine. At first, she seems downright crazy, telling Beck (our hero) to stay away but then wanting his company. She's like some passive aggressive, co-dependent wacko. But eventually she becomes kind of normal. Fine. Whatever.
The bigger problem is that she doesn't seem to know who she really is: good or bad. She admits to having a "strong moral compass" that compels her to not curse (she says ridiculous Christmas-like things like "son of a reindeer," instead), but yet it is okay for her to think to herself, "don't get your tits in a twist," and to have what she thinks will be a one-night stand with a guest at her inn after spending half the book berating herself over being attracted him, which she believes is "unprofessional." That doesn't jive with me. You either are a goody-goody or you're not. It's like the author wanted to have it both ways. You can't write a sweet or clean book, but still have sex appeal. That doesn't work.
The other thing that bothered me was the heroine had no backbone or self-confidence. OMG, this is the 21st century. If you are doing to do that, give us a good reason for her to act that way and show her growing in confidence as the book goes on, even if it is guy who helps her do that. I can't stand a passive heroine.
Chase does it again with this direct hit to the heart, bringing two people together in an unexpected, beautifully heartfelt way when a small-town community welcomes a stranger with open arms and rallies around one of their own. Full of Christmas magic, small-town charm and winsome, endearing characters, Silver Bell Falls and the local inn will be at the top of your list of places to visit.
Settle in and make yourself comfortable for this heart-warming Christmas novella that's sure to put you in the holiday spirit. You'll love stoic but big-hearted, generous Beckham and you'll adore sweet, selfless, town sweetheart Cassidy. You’ll delight in watching them navigate their nascent relationship, renovate Cassidy's inn, and work to figure out a future for two people who live on opposite sides of the country.
If you love Christmas, you’ll eat this one up, and if you’re a bit of a Grinch, well, just maybe this book is exactly what you need to help your poor heart grow. So take a break from all the busyness, give yourself a couple of hours, and enjoy your stay in Silver Bell Falls. With an abundance of charm, tons of heart and a tame rating, this book is perfect for every romance lover!
Another fantastic Christmas love story by the fabulous Samantha Chase. Cassidy just took over the Silver Bell Falls Inn from her parents and started doing renovations on it, so she closed it to guests u til it was finished. Beckham is a young man on a journey to visit all the place that his dearly loved father wanted to visit. His father hadn't gitten to visit any since he passed before he could. Along the way Beckham stopped in a little seaside town of Magnolia Sound and came upon a adoption fundraiser and adopted a sweet puppy named Mazie. If u want to know more about this awesome story one click it.. You wont be disappointed at all..
5 CHRISTMAS IN LOVE STARS!! This is my favorite time of the year...so this book was perfect. I love Silver Bells it is one of my favorite places in story land. Cassidy and Beckham gives us readers all the feels through their story. Samantha Chase writes the best stories, characters and she delivers with this one. Looking for the perfect Christmas story look no further....here it is.
I love visiting small towns like Silver Bell Falls. Cassidy and Beckham's story brought quite a few smiles to my face, especially as we get just a couple of weeks away from Christmas here.
This really was like a Hallmark Christmas movie in book form. Two absolute dullards fall in love for no discernable reason whilst surrounded by snow and Christmas decorations. Unfortunately, this premise works much better as a movie because you are generally making fun of it with a group of pals instead of reading the inane thoughts of the most boring people imaginable all by your lonesome. This genre is clearly not for me.
First, I want to say that in the 65 years or so I've been reading, I have never, ever, read or listened to a book that had so many 'ing' verbs that started sentences. To say this was distracting would be an understatement. Second, I loved Beck, but I could not stand Cassidy's attitude. This is the first book I've read from this author, and with writing like this, it will be my last. Sorry.
Only marking this as “read” and admitting I read it so that I don’t make the mistake of ever reading it again. If I wasn’t so stubborn I would have stopped reading it a few chapters in. How this is rated so highly is beyond me. A female protagonist who says things like “mother mistletoe” instead of swearing… need I say more?
I was so excited when I heard about Christmas Inn Love for a few reasons, first it’s written by one of my go to authors and second its set in the magical holiday season which happens to be my favourite time of year and let me tell you this story did not disappoint it was everything I expected and so much more. A small town romance set in Silver Bells Falls and let’s be honest what’s not to love about a town with such a wonderful name and I can assure you this town really lives up to its magical title. Cassidy Ryan is running her families B&B the Silver Bell Inn and she has decided to upgrade and renovate the family home as well as the guest rooms but it soon becomes clear she has bitten off more than she can chew with such a massive project..... When she takes in Beckham Allen and his dog Mazie as a favour to a friend when he is stranded in town she has no ideal how this man will influence and change her life because never in her wildest dreams would she have seen herself first off with a dog in her house because she is terrified of being bitten and that’s just the start of the changes that are about to happen for Cassidy ..... This book ticked all my boxes, it has all the feels you want and expect in a magical read, it’s small town romance at its best, adorable characters with a lot of witty banter all add to this fun entertaining story and will leave you smiling like a Cheshire Cat. Loved everything about this book and I’m sure you will to if you take a chance and one click this magical story.

My thoughts: 🔖Page 137 of 278 [Chapter] 9 - I just realized every one of these books mentions Florida. This is a huge improvement on the last 2 stories.
This story was pretty good but I didn't love-love it. It would make a great movie. I liked all of the festive swearing.
Recommend to others: Yes this is one of the better ones.
Silver Bell Falls 1. Christmas in Silver Bell Falls (2015) 2. Christmas On Pointe (2016) 3. A Very Married Christmas (2017) 4. A Christmas Rescue (2019) 5. Christmas Inn Love (2019) 6. The Christmas Plan (2020)
Christmas Inn Love is another terrific heartwarming Christmas story! Cassidy has taken over running the family B & B from her parents & is trying to update it herself. During an early season snow storm, she’s convinced to take in 2 accident victims who had no where to go.
Beckham is a retired NFL player taking a driving trip around the US. He’s trying to visit all of the places his late father had wanted to visit but didn’t get to see before his death. He had adopted a dog in Magnolia Sound & she was injured in the car crash. He really didn’t want to stay Silver Bell Falls but the crash & the snow storm worked against him.
Cassidy & Beckham were a fun couple. As their attraction grew, they both seemed to come alive. They needed that connection to bring their personalities out. I loved Mazie & her contribution to the story. I love dogs & they usually add warm to the story. The townspeople are loving small town residents & all care for each other. This story had all of the characteristics of a Christmas story & you really don’t want to miss this one!
What do you get when you have an inn keeper, and lost traveler, Christmas spirit and a whole lot of heart? The next Christmas installment of merriment from Samantha Chase, CHRISTMAS INN LOVE!
Cassidy has taken over running her beloved family inn located in Silver Bell Falls, a favorite destination of many of Samantha Chase's readers. A town full of family, friends and fir trees, Christmas cheer is always abundant.
Cassidy is slowly getting her in ready to open in February, but reluctantly opens her doors to lost soul Beckham and his precious dog after a precarious trek.
As if the North star led him to Silver Bell Falls, and Cassidy, Beck falls into a nice rhythm and routine with his hostess during a days long snow storm. Maybe his quest to find out who he really is led him to this new town and woman, and maybe Cassidy's shy ways give way to the spark that has obviously ignited between them!
Grab the popcorn and get ready for another holiday treat! Samantha Chase will transport you to exactly where you want to be!
Retired NFL superstar, Beckham, decided to mourn the death of his father by traveling cross country on a rode trip with his trusty side kick Maize. What he did not expect was to crash his van and end up in a small town of Silver Bell Falls. Cassidy has always loved her family's B&B but decided to close up during the holidays to make the renovations her dad always put off. With no where else to stay Beckham ends up staying with Cassidy, and an instant spark happens. But can they work through her renovation nightmares and his feelings of loss and trying to find himself? Can the holidays bring two unlikely people together with their HEA as an end result? Samantha Chase once again brings love back to Silver Falls and makes the Christmas holiday a joyous occasion for her characters. The town has a way of helping each other and bringing out the best in all of them. This is another great read to add to the series.
Cassidy is determined to prove to her family that they made the right decision when they allowed her to make her mark on the family Bed & Breakfast. She is determined that it will be a success and that means making a few renovations but what started out as a small project is starting to look like a mountain.
Beckham is trying to not only handle his grief but to honor his father by visiting all the places that he talked about. Whether it was fate or an accident Beckham and his dog Mazie find themselves stranded in Silver Falls and spending the holiday with Cassidy.
Working on the renovation together feelings develop and they have a chemistry and connection that they have never felt before and they must decide if the Christmas miracle they have found in each other will disappear like the melting snow or last forever.
This is a heartwarming story about love, romance and the magic of the holiday season.
5 star review of Christmas Inn Love (Silver Bells Fall #5) by Samantha Chase
I love stories based around Christmas, it’s my most favourite holiday of the year. I also love stories based in small towns so Christmas Inn Love is a win/win for me.
I have read several books by Samantha Chase and I found this one to be as well written and enjoyable as her previous books.
Cassidy Ryan is running her family’s B & B, Silver Bell Inn but first she needs to close and renovate it.
When she opens her doors to Beckham Allen and his dog Maize after a car accident, she has no idea how her life is about to change.
I loved the build up in Cassidy and Beck’s relationship as they are snowed in. Getting to know one another , the chemistry between them intensifies.
This is a feel good book that left me with a smile on my face and certainly got me in the mood for the holiday season.
It's not surprising that Samantha Chase has another winner in Christmas Inn Love, the 5th installment in the Silver Bell Falls series. Besides the obvious draw of being a Christmas story, we have a very likable heroine who cusses in holiday cliches, a handsome hero who is a rich and famous football player, a small town with supporting characters that add realism and depth to the story, and, as if this wasn't already enough, a delightful little dog named Maizie. While the storyline did not seem as complex as other Chase novels, it was none the less satisfying and engaging. It was also fun to revisit Bailey and Gavin from the previous Silver Bells novel, but Christmas Inn Love can easily be read as a standalone if you haven't read the other books in the series.
I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of this novel. All of the comments are my honest opinions.
All the feels in this Christmas novella set in the small town that celebrates Christmas year round. What more could you ask for? Well, let me tell you. First we have a retired NFL player who is traveling around the country who adopted a dog in Magnolia Sound (right?) and he just happens to get in an accident outside of town and in the middle of a record snow storm. The town B&B is closed for renovations but for a stranded stranger in need Cassidy Ryan will make an exception though she is not thrilled to include the dog because she is terrified of them. It takes a little bit of negotiating around space and with the snow falling the space gets tight but once they come together the heat cranks up and the banter is wonderful. I definitely recommend this one!
The perfect Christmas read with all of the warm feelings of the holidays. Silver Bells is one of my favorite Christmas towns. Cassidy is trying to get her inn remodeled by herself when a snowstorm hits and a stranger with his dog gets snowed in. Beck is on a road trip seeing the sights after his dad died and he left his career as a professional football player. Both are at crossroads in their lives and soon a relationship develops that they can't deny.
This story will give you plenty of warm fuzzies, from all of the mentions of comfort foods, wonderful friends, Christmas decorating and being out in the snow , plus did I mention the sweet romance. Loved Mazie too!! I wish we all had a Beck in our lives. This is a book that I could not put down, I highly recommend!!
I felt this book was ok. It kept my interest and I wanted to see how it ended. It's a love story, so the ending is obviously predictable. I got a little tired of the main character being whiney and saying "I just can't do it!" all the time. And then at the end she started with "Everyone thinks I'm incompetent" type stuff. It was a little much for me. I also got tired of the "we stayed up all night again....we made love here, and here, and here...." I felt once would have been enough, move on with the story already. I felt that was an easy way to fill pages and not add more depth to the story. But I know I'm picky in that area. Is it a mindless, sweet love story? Yes. Would I read it again? No. Would I read more fro. This author? Possibly.

Happy Holidays!! This story made my heart sigh and very, very happy. This was such a sweet and beautiful story of two lonely people who weren’t looking for love but the fates decided differently. I believe in holiday magic and this story is exactly the inspiration of that belief. Beckham is a sexy ex pro football player whose missing his dad and is on a journey to memorialize him when by accident he meets Cassidy. She is a strong, independent and very sweet woman who is trying to live her dream. These two together are so perfect for each other and I’m so happy they figured it out. If your looking to escape the holiday dramas then this story will do that for you. I couldn’t put it down.
This was a perfect Christmas romance. Beckham is a retired football player who meets innkeeper Cassidy in the sweetest way. And then their slow chemistry burns hotter as the book goes on. I enjoyed our main characters with their small vulnerabilities that the other person brings a healing to. The story line is sweet, romantic, and swoony. It reads like a fantastic Hallmark movie that you'll fall in love with.
Christmas Inn Love beats a Hallmark movie any day! I loved Cassidy and Beckham's story, especially when you include the adorable rescue dog, Mazie. Who knew being stranded in a small town could change your life? Especially when you feel so lost with no direction already, new friends and a purpose in life is just what the doctor ordered. Plenty of romance and laughter, this book is guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit.
In the words of Cassidy Ryan “son of a nutcracker” I liked this cheesy book. There was a little too much sex and not enough Christmas for me - but I still cried at the end. Tis the season for silly Christmas books.
It was an okay read for me. Unfortunately I found the heroine to be a tad annoying. I was not a fan of her “I can do it all myself and people want to help me because they think I’m incompetent” attitude.
