This book is about Chloe and Zach. Chloe is fashion designer with her own boutique in her hometown of Eron. Zach is a physician who travels to other countries performing much need medical work for the poor and his is the last living male heir of the founding family of . Zach comes to Eron to get his grandparents' house ready to sale and sort thru the items left there while on break between mission assignments. He first noticed Chloe the last time he was in town and he has not been able to get her out of his mind. He soon learns that Chloe is dating the local carpenter, Noah and that her family and the town believe that they will get married. However the more time that Zach spends with Chloe the more he grows to have strong feelings for her. Chloe likes Noah as a friend, but she knows that she will never feel more than that for him, but she hates confrontations and hurting people's feelings so she cannot figure out how or when to break things off with Noah. Zach tries not to push Chloe into choosing between them especially when he is having a hard time deciding what his future travel plans are going to be. Chloe, Zach and Noah are going to have to do a lot of praying and thinking in order to figure out who God wants them to be with and where God wants them to go. Read and see what choices they make and if all turns out the way it should in the end.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This was my first time I read a book by this author, and it wont be my last. Although this is the second book, I didn't feel that I had to read the first prior to reading. It can be read as a stand alone, but I do plan to read it, as well as the next book in the series. It had just enough of attraction between the main characters, but it didn't go overboard and is definitely in the Christian fiction parameters.

Zach comes to town to take care of his grandmother house. He is only in town temporarily. When he meets Chloe and falls in love they don’t know things can work out. Zach is a doctor, he ends up taking over for the town doctor for a little bit.
I admired Zach and how he did missionary work with his doctoring skills. Chloe had a choice to make, between Noah and Zach, who will she choose?
I received an advanced copy of the book from the author. This book review is my own opinion.
Choices by Rose Fresquez was such a delightful read/listen! I loved getting to know both Chloe and Zach, as well as some of the folks from Eron. I loved the fact that she worked in fashion, and how he managed to support his career as a doctor in order to work in mission trips all over the world while keeping Christ at the center of their lives. Granted, I was a bit apprehensive about starting this book thanks to the love triangle mentioned in the blurb, but it all worked out either for some interesting/fun situations or for some character growth.
The narrator was fantastic, bringing to life every character and portraying them so distinctively. I loved Zach's voice and every time he called Chloe "princess" may have made me swoon ;). The inflections and nuances were just on point, and I definitely could have listened to a few more hours.
All in all, a *great* Christian romance, perfect for all the fans of Clean/Sweet reads, interracial romance, and this author of course. This was my first time reading a book by this author but it definitely won't be my last. Completely recommended!! ~ 5 stars
This is a sweet contemporary romance. The characters are well-defined and interesting. The story is a love triangle between Chloe, Noah and newcomer Zach. I truly felt bad for the one that doesn’t get the girl! (No spoiler). They are all very kind and generous people. Living in a small town, the gossip was terrible. But they all seemed to tolerate it. The story was G rated. Nothing besides sweet kisses. No bad language or violence. This is a new author to me and I would read more books from her. The narrator did a good job. It was pleasing to listen to. I received this book and this is my honest review.
Chloe has a boutique and when she has few customers, she uses the time to design her own models. Zach is a doctor who loves to travel around the world helping those who don’t have enough money to pay for the doctor’s service. One day he receives a notice that he inherits a house in a place called Eron. It took me a while to get into the story, but once I got in, I enjoyed it a lot. The characters are lovely: they are very different, but at the same time, they are equal because both of them like to help people and they are very respectful of the other. Chloe made me itch with her perfect, wishy washy attitude. What? If she kisses a guy she is fornicating? Or will she get pregnant? Why couldn't she pick Noah? He was a nice Christian guy. Zach wasn't until he met Chloe. At least that's what I got at the beginning when they asked him to pray over the meal. What was her mother's problem? She left Chloe behind when she went to sow her wild oats. I am glad she returned, but she needed to slow her role, Jenny was her mother.
Sometimes you struggle to make the right choice Every choice has a consequence, some good, some bad Chloe and Zach fell in love but had some choices to move forward they had to make Chile had to choose between two good men who both loved her, but she only loved one, Zach who came into her life and heart unexpectedly Rose wrote another heartwarming story of the small town of Eron And some of its wonderful people Great job Rose and I look forward to reading Book 3
Now that is what I call a tough decision to make. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Most of all, I think I loved Jules the best; so real; so candid; so honest. She touched me most. The rest are all realistic type characters who draw you into the story in one way or another. You just have to read it to truly appreciate the dilemmas involved. A good and satisfying ending. Will definitely look out for more of this author's books.
I absolutely love this story! It is filled with wishes, lost hope and amazing characters. This really pulled me in from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. Andy Garcia-Ruse does an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality.
This is a stand alone book that is part of a series. Zach has few memories of the town he visited as a young boy. But now it is his. He meets a local he is attracted to. It makes his choices difficult as he plans to fix it upqnd sell it. But his choices aren’t so simple once he meets Chloe. Things are just about to become complicated.
I really enjoyed this story it was very heartfelt and entertaining, love the characters and the chemistry between Zach and Chole it was very endearing. The characters and their personalities were very entertaining. This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it and I look forward to reading more of her books. I highly recommend this book!
It was awkward and seemed forced in many ways. It felt like it was written by a 12 year old who really knew nothing about what she was writing about. I wanted to quit reading but all the reviews were so good I hoped it would get better. I did not. I didn't care for Chloe. Just a waste if time and not even enjoyable.
A young woman who has abandonment issues is a young designer who has opened her shop in her home town of Enron and she meets a young doctor who travels to different parts of the world working with people who are in need of his medical help. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
Enjoyed reading a book where the main characters weren’t jumping into to bed every other page. Noah was a likable character but I felt he tried too hard to force a relationship with Chloe.
Loved this book so very much! Loved Zach. He's a really neat and cool character and of course, Chloe. Great job here Rose. I am totally becoming entranced with your books. Most I love about it is that it's a CHRISTIAN romance ... Hurrah!😁🙌
Sometimes we think we now exactly what god has for us. Then, He comes along and changes it to something much betttter. The choice is up to us. Will we go along with what we know or will we choose God’s path? Very well done!
Coming from a large metropolis, Zach was learning about the advantages and disadvantages of life in a small Colorado town. Chloe was learning how challenging it can be to make right choices while not hurting others.
Chloe has to make a decision. Does she live the man who is pursuing her or is she interested in Zach the town's new doctor and their to the town. Such a tough decision both men are perfect, both men are crazy about her. What will she do? This is a great story.
It was one of my very favorite books in long time full of many ups and downs, such as life has for each for each of us through life’s many struggles, thus a very happy ending❤️❤️👍
The writing style was not for me. It felt like a child trying to write adult romance and I couldn’t click with Zach so I may have skipped a lot of it because he got on my nerves. And what was with Chloe? The characters that I liked were Jules and Noah they felt the most natural to me.
The characters are superbly created to express the manner that our environment affects our lives. The first book in the series, "Complex" started confirmation of this fact. Both books are recommended reading.
I listened to this audiobook. It's a sweet story about a couple of people who are trying to do good in the world and are drawn to each other's goodness. Very inspiring.
