“Thought you were saving the world? You only made things worse…” When a strange form of ink rot appears on the cover of One Thousand and One Nights, April steps into the story world to erase it. Been there, done that, right? Wrong. This rot’s different: It’s immune to her touch. Now, with only so long before the rot blackens more books, April must find a way to stop it—all while dealing with old friends, an old flame, and a new enemy the likes of which the library has never seen before…. Or have they known him all along?
H. Duke writes fantasy, horror, and more. She wrote Taming the Wolf and the first season of Jeremiah Jones Cowboy Sorcerer while living in Arizona with her husband, Giru, and a shiny black dog named Jupiter. These days, she can be seen travelling the United States in her travel trailer. To see her other works and find out where she'll be writing next, visit her website.
April wishes she could just work at the library; however, the books she takes care of have other ideas. One of the books has ink rot but it's different almost like the book was burned. The only way to fix it is to go into the story and fix the issue from the inside. April and her friends are on another adventure to destroy the ink rot or whatever it is this time.
I love the idea that this series revolves around. It would be my ideal fantasy world to be able to travel world's in this manner. I highly recommend it.
Disclaimer: I received a copy of this ebook from the author and this is my honest and freely given opinion.
Great Series! April will deal with a lot in this fast paced, interesting adventure with wonderful characters. Great world building lets you see what is going on in this unpredictable story.
