WOW...what a book! Makes me want to meet and claim Derek as my own! King D indeed!!! I loved how vulgar Derek was, he is so arrogant that you can’t help but love to hate him. Ellie was a great character and the sexual chemistry and scenes between her and King D were hot AF. 🔥

This is the first book I’ve read from Bella Emy and it will not be my last. Between The Sheets by Bella Emy is a MUST read and will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ELITE!!!

Man! Derek aka King D is the most arrogant and narcissist guy that I ever met. The girls are attracted to him as the bees to honey. No one can resist his sexy grin, irressistible blue eyes and 6 ft. muscle body. He don't make love, he just f*ck and emotions are ruled out. But every dog has his day!

Ellie is Lauren's best friend, which is Derek's twin sister. Ellie was having a hard time dealing with her past relationship and all the stuff everybody carry after been cheated. Lauren supported her through all that and I will say that their friendship are beautiful and amazing. Ellie didn't want to be involved in another relationship. But her vulnerability and her feelings for Derek make her took a decision that might she regret.

I could easily connect with the story. Usually, a character like Derek could turn out to be annoying. But it wasn't the case here. It make me laugh and accepted him from the beginning. The only thing that I wish to know more about it was what happened with the relationship that broked his heart. That it wasn't clear. Despite that, I enjoyed the steamy scenes, the funny and some embarrassing ones, the friendship and how a person changed when love knock at the heart door. A great reading!

Up, down, twists and turns that's what this story had. I cried,I laughed, I rooted for her then I wanted to slap him then I tired for him then I was all like aww come on!!!! Between the sheets was totally epic it is the MUST read of the summer!! It had my heart jumping out of my chest more than once. Well done Bella 🥰

I beta read this book and I am so happy that Bella Emy gave me the chance to read it before it gets published. This is not my first read by Bella. She's one of the authors that I discovered and I couldn't be more happier. This books is EVERYTHING. It has Derek who was first introduced in her other book (King Of Arrogance) which I loved so much that I had to read this one as well. You don't need to read King Of Arrogance before reading this one! But you should definitely check it out. The chemistry between Derek and Ellie is amazing. Derek is the cocky, sexy man that you cannot help but fall in love with. And Ellie? She's the sweetest girl, wanting to get to her happily ever after but had a lot of ups and downs. This is a steamy book with a HEA at the end. Overall I loved it! definitely a MUST READ!!

There were parts of this book that were hard to read, not because they were badly written by any means, I love Bella’s work, but because even though Derek and Ellie weren’t “together” it personally pushed the envelope a bit on cheating, so forewarning for those that don’t read that kinda stuff- this book is going to upset you.

I loved the prologue- King of Arrogance, Derek was lovable even in his arrogant and cocky bad boy ways and I was excited to read more about him. Then Bella thrust us into the mind of what we all love to hate in a cocky sex crazed bastard--if you’ve ever wondered, read on.

Ellie’s character is easy to relate to and love practically immediately.

But I had a really hard time relating to Derek. The first several chapters, all he’s seeking is sex (from whoever and wherever). He seems to have literally NO other interests--not movies, or the gym, or work or anything else. It’s like nothing else exists. He’s the equivalent of a narcissistic sex addict.

I had hoped he would be snowed in with Ellie with nowhere to go for a couple days, but that didn’t happen before he was off to get his next “fix”. He seemed to have more of a relationship with Natasha in this book than he did with Ellie and his staying the night with her seemed to conflict his usual “ways”.

As a reader- I didn’t like reading his graphic sex scenes with Natasha after he and Ellie had become an item, aka "f@* buddies". In fact, I wanted to all out cry when this happened. It made my stomach hurt. It felt like “cheating” even though I knew D and Ells weren’t officially “official”.

I wanted more development of Derek as a character, I wanted to know what made him bitter and I wanted the love he felt for Ellie to feel more real and relatable and it just didn’t-- not with the way he was still oohing and aahing over the girls he’d had before.

With that being said, Derek turned around before the end of the book and became more humble, a changed man, following the dramatic scene with Ellie walking out of the party. I loved Lauren and Mom and the Full Moon scene was hilarious. This read was unpredictable and unique too, so props to Ms Emy for keeping me guessing as to what was gonna happen.

This is my first read of Bella’s! What!? I know I have been wanting to read her books for awhile now, I have some on my kindle from her that I just haven’t had a chance to get too yet!🙊🙈

Now I love me some cocky hero’s, they are always so steamy. But boy oh boy was Derek the cockiest of them lol. So he started off a little on the down side for me in the beginning. Then he grew on me. Then I loved him, then quickly hated him and was yelling at him through my kindle lol. But he got me in the end. So happy with his outcome in the end.

I loved everything about Ellie! She broke my heart in the beginning and really most of the book. Poor girl just was looking for her happily ever after but kept getting dealt the wrong hand in life and dating. Til she makes a deal with Mr. Cocky which she knows isn’t going to end well but she wanted a change.

Overall I loved the story. Yes there were parts I didn’t care for but it ends with a very sweet HEA and it was extremely steamy!!
I give this one a 4.5 star review!

My first by this author and well what can i say it was amazing! The amount of times I wanted to punch my kindle at what a douche bag Derek was and scream at Ellie that she was daft to let something happen between them but at the same time rooting for them to both see sense! 😂 i laughed, swooned and had tears. This was a great story between childhood friends and a forbidden encounter 😉

Ellie is sweet but Derek never did redeem himself in my eyes. The story was good but I never believed in the hero and I honestly felt horrible for Ellie and what she went through. I saw more of a relationship between Lauren and Ellie than I did Ellie and Derek. This book may not be my cup of tea, but it may be yours so give it a chance and read it.

No matter what I will always love picking up any of Bella Emy’s books because she is such an amazing writer and knows how to write gripping story that will have you on the edge of your seats. With each book I always see that Bella has grown as a writer and I love that about her, even though there is nothing for her to improve on, she still finds ways of improving her writing even though she doesn’t need to. Yet again Bella has done an amazing job with writing this story, the characters were likeable, even the ones that you couldn’t stand, she managed to perfect those and create the effect that she was aiming. The plot was really intriguing and had me gripped until the end and I couldn’t of asked for anything else from her. Bella gives you everything that you could ever want in book, you’ve got the hot guy, the sweet heartbroken girl who knows exactly what she wants but isn’t afraid to go after it, an awesome kickass best friend, what more could you ask for? This story is such an incredible one and if you’ve not read Bella’s work then you need to change that because it’s amazing.

Ellie has been hurt in the past, she thought that her and her ex-Shaun were going somewhere until he literally screwed her over pretty badly, after that she wanted nothing more to do with him. Which is how she ended up at her best friend Lauren and her twin brother’s (Derek) apartment.
Ellie has been crushing on Derek for years and even though she knows what Derek’s reputation is like, she can’t help but still want to have a go at seeing his package….

Derek is known for being a player, his rules are he’ll only sleep with you once, but if you’re lucky enough he may come back for another round, don’t get clingy with him once he’s slept with you, other than that he’s pretty much the king in town. He’ll happily sleep with anyone, and even if he’s not your type within five minutes of talking to you, he’ll manage to change your opinion of him. He goes after what he wants, when he wants however, there’s one girl that’s off limits and that’s Ellie….. his sister’s best friend. He wouldn’t dream of stepping over his sister, yet he wouldn’t mind seeing how she is in the sack just once….. But when events lead them to spend the night together what will happen?

Between the Sheets is a best friends brother romance. The book is told from dual POV of Ellie and Derek. I loved Ellie from the beginning of this story-she was likable, sweet and smart. I did not like Derek as he was the quintessential man-whore and reading his point of view was what it must be like to be inside the actual brain of man (which I actually loved because it was so realistic). His reasoning, pride and justification for his actions disgusted me. Now don’t get me wrong, he wasn’t a horrible person, he was just a typical guy…thinking he was God’s gift to womankind. I was so happy when I felt that Derek was changing but then his actions spoke louder than his words and I was back to hating him. I just wanted to smack him upside his head. I wish I had a little more insight on why he was the way he was but the story didn’t divulge that information to us.
Derek was forced to decide how he wanted his life to be and to finally grow up a bit. I also wanted to give Ellie a high-five because I loved that she wasn’t one of those girls that forgives a guy with no hesitation. That always gets me so mad in books, but here she didn’t do that. I think it was great for Derek to have to work for Ellie but that Ellie was ready to move on with her life if she wasn’t going to be treated how she deserve to be treated, no matter how much she loved him. In the end, I was happy with how this story ended.
Overall I enjoyed this story as I felt it was pretty real-life…there were ups & downs, some twists & turns, laughter and heartache. The writing was raw and honest, even if I didn’t like Derek’s POV all the time. Also, there was definitely some steam in this book. Hot hot hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥5/5 there.

Now that this is our of the way, let’s speak about the book.
Derek and Ellie work in the best way possible. Don’t get me wrong Derek is full of himself but Ellie just take it all and make it work. Bella Emy did a great job with the growth of both characters and their relationship with Derek’s sister.
A great love story with lots of hot scenes and a connection that nothing can falter. If you love roommate romance/best friend’s brother with the fall of an arrogant Hero, don’t look further. Between the sheets is it!

I really did not like Derrick at all. At one time I thought he would/could redeem himself, but he messed it all up. I do like that Ellie wasn't so quick to forgive and forget, though. She made him really work to get her back.
I love the cocky hero ass much as the next girl, but I can do workout the arrogance. Especially him referring to himself as King D.
Took a few chapters to get into the book, though. It was just really hard to get past the arrogant, immaturity that was Derrick.

Gah! It's a 4-star read for its writing and how much it made me loathe the character, and cos that's the intent I say kudos to you author. Don't like the characters a bit, don't like the story, I hate their relationships but needed this abomination, it's like craving to be punished and the author served. But King D, blegh! Never again.

This is my first official read by author, and heck I can’t resist a Friend’s Brother/Sister romance. I mean something about that slow burn and friendship!!

Everything about it, from Derek who was so beyond arrogant but in a handsome way that you just really NEED him. I don’t know how else to explain it, he wasn’t MEAN arrogant just the confident kind. Absolutely love a hero that is upfront and vulgar. Ellie was sweet, sassy and just plain beautiful! Their chemistry was OFF THE CHARTS, i think Derek met him match!

Ellie my heart goes out to her a little, she has been looking for love for so long she gave up, convinced herself that she should just do meaningless affairs. But she couldn’t deny her feeling towards and for Derek. She didn’t know there could be anything him being her best friend’s older brother. Derek does kind of shit on that idea too, that was OUCH! But in the end, when two souls are meant…noting can stop it, right?!

Derek is the most arrogant character I have ever read!

Derek aka King D is never alone, he has a phone full of woman’s numbers all willing to drop everything to get a piece of King D. Ellie needs to get back out there, but she is done with relationships and cheating men who only care about themselves. Sleeping with your best friend’s twin brother is not the smartest move especially when she knows exactly what he is like, but you can’t help but be drawn in by his good looks and charm! Can Ellie survive her heart being broken again?

This was the first time I have read Emy’s work, while I personally wanted to cringe every time the words “King D” were written; the confidence that Emy showed throughout was what kept me reading till the end.

I look forward to reading more in the future.

Wow! This book is amazing!!!! I couldn’t put it down! Let me start with Derek... can you say total book boyfriend material?! Sure, at first he’s a complete whore, but the way he comes into his character and the way Bella Emy shows his growth?! Holy crap. Amazing. I want Derek! Move over, Ellie! Derek is mine LOL just kidding. I loved their chemistry.
Ellie is great. She’s so sweet... totally loved her! Lauren was amazing, the perfect best friend. Ellie’s mom and “Full Moon” lol I loved them.
Now can we get back to Mr. Mykels?! I’m so glad I met him. I seriously have a book hangover from this hot, steamy read. I love how in love Derek was with Ellie, how he tried to overcome his feelings for her because he never thought they could be together. I’m going to be rereading this one for sure. 5/5 stars! Well done to the author.

Ellie is tired of failed relationships and has decided to just find someone for a night of good sex. She has always been attracted to her best friend, Lauren's twin brother, Derek. That guy loves himself and has the ego and reputation of a ladies man to back it up. Ellie knows Derek is off limits but he could be perfect for the job. He could complete the task at hand and move on with no second thought, at least that is what she thinks. Derek however, is not so sure as he has been secretly pining for Ellie as well. What is in store for these two? HEA? Enjoy this well written story with great characters that experience empty relationships instead of getting together themselves. But is that about to change?

Ok, I’m not sure how to describe this book. Seriously, I feel a bit lost and speechless. I don’t think I have ever read a book where I legitimately rolled my eyes throughout half the book but also couldn’t put it down. I could not stand how arrogant Derek was, it’s like everything he said and did got under my skin! I guess you could say he is a character you love to hate. Then there’s Ellie; she’s been burned by too many ex’s and is just trying to get by. The chemistry between Derek and Ellie is pretty intense which makes for some hot scenes and there are also some funny situations thrown in which offer some levity. Overall I think I would totally read another Bella Emy book because I need to know if her other books will make me question everything I think and feel afterwards.

A really good enjoyable best friends brother romance. This is Ellie and Derek's story these two have had feelings for each other for a while but neither has acted on it due to her being his sisters best friend and let me honest he is a huge manwhore who likes to hit it and quit it. When the power goes out in a storm these two find a way to stay warm they have good chemistry and while I liked Ellie right from the very start it did take a while for me to warm to Derek he was not horrible but just a little bit to in love with himself for my liking he does come good in the end though.

This was my first time reading a book by Bella Emy. Her characters Derek (King D) and Ellie are hot and seamy together. Derek is a very cocky sexy man you can't help but fall in love with while Emy is a sweet girl looking for her HEA. Ellie has been hurt one too many times by guys in the past. Now she's just looking for a hookup with no strings attached. Her best friend Lauren has a twin brother Derek that would be perfect but Ellie can't go there no matter how much she would love it. Derek has always wanted his twin sister's best friend but that is a no go as his sister would be mad. Sometimes things end up getting hot and complicated when you least expect it. A steamy, hot read with a best friend's brother/roommate situation.

The chemistry between these two is off the charts, and when they have the opportunity to make a secret deal, they do so. This is my first read for this author, but it will not be my last. What can I say about this book.... first I loved to hate Derek, I wanted slap him and at the same time I was rooting for him. Ellie is sweet, has a crush on Derek, and has had her heart broken one too many times. This story is well written, the characters had amazing chemistry and I was completely engrossed from the first page until the last. I definitely recommend it you read it for yourself you won't be disappointed.

This was a roller coaster. Ellie and Derik are both phenomenal characters, but can we focus on and appreciate the friendship between Ellie and Lauren for a second?... The chemistry is off the charts, and the evolution of the story is so organic.
