Their first meeting is unusual to say the least and its takes awhile for them both to see what is in front of them.

Mack & Jasmine....<3 Let’s just say the Butler gene of hotness is strong! The connection between these two characters is brilliant. The pace of the relationship flows really well, Jasmine is Mack perfect match and they couldn’t have been written any better as far as I’m concerned. The emotions both characters share, their pasts are revealed, which gave you a more detailed insight to Mack of lay beneath him and Jasmine how she has fought through her life not let her disability define her.

I couldn’t wait to start this story! I love Isobelle Cate books, steamy scenes, brother/sisterhood characters, fun banter even when the characters are in the middle of a drama, surprise twists, moments that hold you captive, and storylines that keep you thinking as you reading and even after you’ve finished…

Midnight's Redemption was such an intense read. Jasmine Angelico is a blind woman who lost her sight after she was the lone survivor when her family were murdered ten years ago by a gang of evil Scatha Cruor. Mackenzie (Mack) Butler is a man in limbo, he's no longer a Scatha Cruor but neither is he fully a Cynn Cruor warrior again. Mack rescues Jasmine and her dog Mutt just in time when the Scatha come looking for her as their leader has some unfinished business with her, she fully believes in the beginning that she is being kidnapped by him until she finally realises that there is so much more goodness than bad in the man who came to her aid.
This story was such a total rush to read as we see it's characters have such a very intense relationship form between them, both physical and personality wise, they not only fight with each other to let their feelings be shown they verbally spar with each other too, this only helps to cause the sparks that ignite between them even more. While they are on the run from the Scatha that are hunting Jasmine it not only adds to the angst and danger they are in, it gives them the time together to discover what the strange feeling that happens between them everytime that they touch.
This book had thrills and drama at every page turn and kept me wanting to read right until the end. This is a great addition to an already great series. Isobelle Cate writes paranormal with such flare and imagination.

Wow!! I have read and loved this series, and I have been waiting for Mack’s Story. Ms Cate did not disappoint me. My emotions were all over the place. This story has riveting action, nail biting suspense, the intensity is unbelievable!!
Mack has lost everything, family, friends when he was turned against his will. He is now a scatha Cruor ( Scatha Cruors hunt and sell humans to slavery) hunted by Cynn Cruors, ( protectors of humans). The Cynn Cruors are his family and friends.

"Midnight's Redemption" (Cynn Cruors Bloodline Series Book 9) by Isobelle Cate is a fantastic read. I absolutely loved Mackenzie and Jasmine's story. Wow! This story had me on the edge of my seat and I didn't want to put it down. This is a wonderful addition to this series, packed with action, paranormal, romance, passion, second chances, family, twists and turns, interesting and entertaining characters, and more. I loved catching up with so many of the other Cynn Cruors. I can not wait to see what happens next in this series. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, paranormal, and series.

This book belongs to The Cynn Cruors series. I recommend reading the previous books in the series to get the full view of the world of Cruors. This book is about Mackenzie and Jasmine. They are on opposites sides, or so it seems at first, but opposites attract. Resisting is useless, the bond between their souls is already formed. I won't spoil the plot but I will only say that it is full of twists that will surely surprise you in a positive way.

I absolutely adore this series. Mac is such a complex character, full of self hate and pain. Until he meets Jasmine. She has been through unspeakable tragedy that left her blind. Until she meets him. Their lives are connected more than they realised. This story is such an emotional roller coaster. It left me wrung out and even right at the end the author managed to shock me and bring me to tears. I want more!

Not my usual genre, but had the good fortune to find this Cynn Cruor series early and haven't looked back. Jasmine and Macks story certainly doesn't disappoint, action, sizzling saucy scenes, a catch up with characters, updates on the unfolding story running through all the books. Wow, amazing, entertaining, definite page turner - highly recommend cannot wait for the next book!

WOW. I have spent hours agonizing over this review. I feel like I can't do justice to this tour de force. You'll find your heartstrings being tugged over Mack, who no longer belongs in either of the major worlds he once inhabited. Jasmine is an amazing heroine, strong even in the face of overwhelming odds, and far from a damsel in distress despite being blind. A perfect addition to the series.

Omg I love Mack and Jasmine. The heartbreak came from the pages and took me under in a sea of tears. It was so hard to put the book down in order to go to work. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

The line as stated above bears sheer relevance with the overall context of the book at hand where the constant tussle only connotes love and surviving for the same.
Delving further, the length of the book is 336 pages and revolves around the character of Mackenzie Butler who belongs to the faction of Scatha Cruor and has been exiled for 4 years and when the time strikes he escapes from the prison and with the will of obliterating Scatha Cruor's but all that seems way too easy and complexity knocks his door as there comes the character of Jasmine Angelico who takes over his heart and thereby making him the prisoner of his eyes and the overall process seems to demand your attention. The length of the book is 336 pages and the prologue of the book sets the tone of the book itself and verily introduces the character of Mackenzie and his instincts as cruelty was something that was warranted by the clan he was willing to joy as the same can be seen from the line “as he reveled in the ashes that covered him”. The first chapter details the training process that goes on the land of Perth, Scotland as the same was an intense the same can be construed as from the line itself:-“As they trained harder, more bloodlust would weep in their eyes”. As the chapters progress further, all the elements are well presented which keeps the attention of the readers. In addition to it, the elements are quite well arranged as they verily reflect the fight for survival.
It must be noted that the author has presented a book that is replete with the relevant ingredients that make up a fantasy novel. The writing style has been kept quite smooth and not so complex.

Didn't meet this author's normal standards
I have read every book in this series and loved every one. This book has some issues though. The story was good and I love seeing Mack. The problem is that the editing was terrible. I didn't notice this in any of the other books written by this author. Maybe I somehow got a bad copy. If not, then it needs to be edited and re-released. I want others to enjoy this author's stories too.
The conflict with Mack not belonging either as a Scatha or a Cynn Cruor was wonderful. I also loved that Jasmine may be blind but she could see clearly with her heart as to the kind of person Mack is once she got past her panic.

A gripping paranormal romance with high stakes and strong emotional pull. Mack is a tortured warrior caught between deadly factions, and Jasmine is a heroine whose strength and heart shine as dangerous secrets unfold. Their chemistry is intense, the world-building is intriguing, and the story balances action, romance, and sacrifice beautifully. A great read for fans of dark, destiny-driven love stories.

What can I say about this book. I loved it. The angst of the hero between his two opposing sides. The slow burn between the hero and the heroine until they could deny it no longer. The supporting characters The world that Isobelle Cate has created with this series is full of fantastic characters capable of great love and great strength and violence when needed. In this book mack has to deal with his demons but as there is an inherently good man in there we root for him and believe it will all end well. Jasmine our main female lead is blind but far from disadvantaged with it. She has a fabulous strength of character and the most amazing dog. Facing a dangerous enemy and trying to keep her safe will mack manage to battle it all and his own demons also..... Will there be a happy ever after....... Not for me to ruin or spoil anything but you should definitely read this book. I will tell you there are lots of ups and downs and truths to be faced along the way. Fantastic addition to the series and the wonderful world created by Isobelle Cate.

Mack has had enough, he doesn't want to live in limbo with neither fully recovering from being a Scatha nor being back to a pure Cynn Cruor like he use to be and his older brother Colin still is. After an incident at the Hamilton Faesten Mack finds himself free and comes into contact with Jasmine where sparks fly well for her anyway and that is the end of her 4 weeks vacation she thought she was taking. The pace is great and there are plenty of emotions to go through like frustration, hatred, lust, confusion, mistrust and blushing from the steamy scenes. There are some good twists and surprises you do not see coming as well as a feeling like coming home with the banter between the Cynn Cruor that you have seen through all the other books and makes you really think of them all as brothers. Now to wait for the next book to come out!!!
