F picked out this very toddler-appropriate book and demanded I read it to her at the library the other day. It was the usual Daniel Tiger fare: based on one of the TV show episodes, which mostly just made me wish we were watching the show instead (the book is just a TV tie-in, so it's a rare instance where the show is better). It was just a touch lengthy to fully hold her attention.

In this very slim board book, we witness three examples of school friends feeling an impulse to take something, then handling it different ways: a) waiting until later b) using an alternative when a friend says no c) offering a friend something else when you don't want to share what they ask for. It also features a memorable song! "Before you take something away, stop and ask if it's ok."
