Feels criminal to give ant Pete the Cat book less than 4 stars so here we are! Agent Meow is a probably not the sharpest tool in the shed. I enjoyed his shenanigans and I think my son did as well. Overall, would recommend to the 4+ crowd.
Sometimes I just don't know...this is one of those times. This book is weird, but kind of fun at the same time. I don't know if I would read this for children, but I am happy it exists giving us this bizarre story line.
A Pete the cat spy book that kids who love gadgets and vehicles are sure to love. Secret Agents Meow (Pete the Cat) uncovers a secret using his spy gear. Although uncertain about what awaits, he shows up at the mentioned secret location to discover a surprise.
There's a Pete the Cat adventure for every taste. For kids who love spy gadgets and detective work, there's double-o-Pete. Some creative spy accessories in this one that readers will enjoy.
Kind of like Nate the Great but not as fun. Also, I'm new to the Pete the Cat world, but I'm finding the main character unlikable; the author has failed to elicit the pathos to keep me interested
Pete the Cat goes under cover as Secret Agent Meow to investigate some mysterious happenings. Armed with all of his spy gear Secret Agent Meow is up against his most challenging case to date.
A bit strange. Very predictable, but it’s a children’s book. I can imagine children having fun guessing what the big secret is. A little offended (not really) that the librarian is a grumpy toad.
Pete the Cat has a very secret identity. He's also Secret Agent Meow! He shows the readers all his groovy spy gear, and then uses it to follow some suspicious behavior around town. What is going on?
See if little readers can solve the mystery in this before Secret Agent Meow. It is a good and kind surprise, not something nefarious. A fun little spy story for littles featuring the ever-popular Pete.
