This is the Bible for data-driven and comprehensive school counseling programs. The first time I read this through, it gave me reassurance due to all the different resources it gives. This second time through, I feel a layer of uncertainty and pressure to implement a system like this, as I’m much closer to putting it into practice for myself.

It’s a great book. Can be a dry read. But it should be a school counselor’s best friend :)

P.S. I don’t usually include school-related reads on here, but given that I don’t have a lot of time to read outside of school stuff at the moment, and my reading goal needing encouragement, I added.

Clear, helpful. Lots of worksheets/models to follow. One of the textbooks I’ll definitely refer back to in my career (until new updates are made).

I read this for an ASCAU course for work. Very clear and specific information that can be applied as a school counselor.
