If I judged a book by its cover then this is not the sort of novel that I would normally read however I am so glad that I did!!

More of an adventure/thriller than a romance novel, it is a skilfully woven story mixing mystery, intrigue, myths and legends with a romantic twist which adds to the story rather than detract from it. The novel is fast paced with strong, well written characters that you care about through all their flaws and quirks. Can they overcome their past and the dangers that stalk them to find the happiness that they deserve?

The ending of the novel comes all too quickly and has left me wanting more! I'm looking forward to the next instalment of this thrilling adventure ride

Action. Adventure. Romance. What more can you ask for?

This is not your average romance and it’s more than an adventure. Remi is a feisty and strong woman who has to face the truth about her family. Hart is a driven and caring man who gets more than he expects when he falls for Remi.

Author Melissa Michelle Green crafts a perfect mix of magic, myth and mayhem. This is the second book of Green’s I have read and I plan to pick up the next one when it comes out. Great pacing and the action kept me on the edge of my seat! When you need an adventure, check out this one!

This was quite the story. It starts off with a bang, and doesn’t stop until the end! It has mystery and intrigue pervading every sentence of the story, and action aplenty. I love that it is more action than romance, but everything comes together beautifully into quite the abrupt ending. I can’t wait for the next book, the suspense has as been set up nicely, thank you for the opportunity to review this gem!

I received a copy of this book from TBC Reviewers request- Thank you
This was a really good read, it was well written and well paced. I think it’s the kind of book that could be over looked by the cover if you’re not in the mood for a romance read but you’d be missing out the story is very engaging. Will definitely be looking out for other books in the series
Thank you

This book is a well done romantic suspense with some paranormal aspects. It is full of intrigue, action, and adventure. From Colorado to Spain this hero heroine fight unknown assailants and search for a missing dagger. Along the way they fall in love and kick some ass. The secondary characters add depth of interest to the story as they are well-fleshed personalities. This book sets up the rest of the series by piquing your interest in what will happen next. If you like mysteries with lots of action and adventure get this book.

This is book one in Melissa Michelle Green’s ‘Fated’ trilogy, a “Magically Romantic Adventure”.
In Destined, Remington Chase a Ghostwriter, hides her tragic past and her estrangement from her father. When stranger, Hart Hansen approaches her at a party and tells her that her father is dead the two of them our thrown together. Hart is a Bladesmith who has sworn to recover a dangerous weapon, a blade. Hart and Remi whilst trying to avoid a dangerous madman embark on a dangerous and exciting adventure where myth and reality meet. Remi and Hart need to protect the world from the cursed blade but romance blossoms along the way however will they get their happily ever after? The blurb says, “A quick-paced adventure romance that will keep you turning the pages”, and it does not disappoint.
This is a well written thriller/romance, with a fast paced storyline and a romantic twist. I found the characters realistic and likeable and genuinely cared about their fate. I look forward to the rest of the series.
