What if your feelings for your best friend changed? Is it possible to find romance with someone that knows you so completely, but still doesn’t see how you feel? From experience I can answer yes, but it can be a scary prospect. What if it ruins the best friendship you have ever had?
Cam and Peyton have been best friends since grade school. Sure their group was bigger than just the two of them, but Peyton was always Cam’s safe place, the one that has always mattered most to him. All of that is great except lately when he is with her, and when they are apart, to be honest, he can’t stop thinking about kissing her.
It is just a kiss after all. What’s the big deal? But what if she doesn’t feel the same way? That would be a very big deal. One that might even tear them apart. So, Cam decides he will make it clear that they will always be friends, just friends. Then he will never lose the girl he thinks he might actually love.
The problem is he still can’t stop thinking about a kiss!
