Standing over six feet tall, USA Today bestselling author Jonathan Moeller has the piercing blue eyes of a Conan of Cimmeria, the bronze-colored hair of a Visigothic warrior-king, and the stern visage of a captain of men, none of which are useful in his career as a computer repairman, alas.
He has written the DEMONSOULED series of sword-and-sorcery novels, and continues to write THE GHOSTS sequence about assassin and spy Caina Amalas, the COMPUTER BEGINNER'S GUIDE series of computer books, and numerous other works. His books have sold over one million copies worldwide.
New enemies come to the lands of Andohaim where Ridmark and his family friends and allies reside. And with some threats to the realm have being either abolished or averted for now everything is quiet for now. But there is still lots more danger coming from other lands that Ridmark and his friends and family never knew about. One who is the daughter of an old enemy that was destroyed in the Frostborn wars almost 15 years ago who Ridmark killed 15 years ago wants revenge and will do anything she can to have that revenge. The question is will Ridmark, and the realm be able to survive her evil or will he and the lands be destroyed? Only time will tell. Moeller continues to write a series with great backstories and more. Well worth the investment of time and money to read.

As usual Moeller does not disappoint . Battles are at the heart of almost all epic fantasy. And this author is the battlemage of all these incredible authors. That is really saying a lot in this fantasy world of amazing authors. Ridmark Alban & Calliande remain the central characters with many of the same with & against them. Also many new characters who will continue on in more plots to defeat them. Absolutely another great series begins to unfold
Oh my word, this series is very much playing for keeps. The action picked up very quickly, introducing the usual cast of characters, along with new ones, some of which I think will reoccur. The plot twists mostly kept me guessing, aside from the big ones which were obvious. The climax was long, drawn out, delicious and over too soon. I can't wait to continue this series.
Brilliant Sequel full of action and high adventure. More old friends of Ridmark appear in this story. Once again Jonathan Moeller proves what a great story teller he is. This new series shaping up really well definitely recommend
Two great storylines that probably will eventually merge. In both instances the battles were won but the war is not over. I couldn't place Aeliana and her hatred of Ridmark for killing her father (he has killed a lot of people) I was quite a ways into the story when Tarrabus Carhaine's name came up and a lightbulb went off. I know I could have referenced the glossary but it wasn't that big of a deal. Just happy that my memory isn't totally gone.
This book was a fun read a had a few errors. The characters and plot have developed well and are exciting. The book has stuck with information/ plot and new characters are introduced. There were a few parts that repeated information, but overall was exciting and I look forward to the next book.
Big fan of the Malison series. So I liked how we went back between Ridmarks world an Tyrcambers world. How Mr.Moeller didn't make one more important then the other. For they each have a part to play. Can't wait to see where this series goes . I think this is best series to date. Give it a read you can't go wrong.
I enjoyed this story. I liked seeing how the fates of the two worlds were intertwined. The twist with Tyrcamber’s wife was unexpected, but really cool. Excited for the next story.
I love following Ridmark and his adventures. He faces so many enemies but manages to overcome at the last minute. This is a great series and I have read them all.
