Hard to put down, a great book that gives you an idea of what life was really like on the rock in the years leading up to its closing.

I really enjoyed this book so much. It really opened my eyes to what life was to the inmates at Alcatraz. So much information and so well written.If you are interested in Alcatraz this is the book to read. I am so lookinfg forward to my trip and visiting The Rock in 2025.
