Phil, Tim, and Dakota are three survivors taking refuge in Atlanta, Georgia. The year is 2027, ten years after a nuclear fallout decimated the known world and left it in shambles. With hordes of the undead flooding their once safe home and a city now depleted of all resources and supplies the three must make a daring gamble. To trek across the States and Canada, looking for a new place to call home; safe from the monsters that plague the lands. In their daring gamble this trio encounters more than just zombies. They are relentlessly pursued and hunted by both an old and new nemesis’. Trying to survive and stick together, no matter the odds, they must rely on their faith, bond, and past experiences to live through their tribulations. In this world, a fool's chance is usually their only chance.

He began his writing journey in the summer of 2009 with his debut novel WEEKS Book One. The book began as a passion project that matured into the release of WEEKS Books Two and Three, an upcoming Book Four, The Samhain Terror, and short stories and novellas. He has several more projects planned. WEEKS Books One and Two are recipients of The Readers' Favorite 5-Star Awards.

I am a fan of zombie apocalypse stories. It actually has been a little while since I have read one. In this book, there are three main characters, Phil, Tim and Dakota. I appreciated the fact that one of the main characters was a female. A strong one at that. She was an equal to Phil and Tim. This will resonate with female readers a lot nicely.
While, I liked this book and the characters; they did not connect with me on a very close human interaction bond. It was like I was reading this book about three people trying to survive a zombie apocalypse. This is fine as this is the point of the book. However, I wanted that strong connection so that I felt/experienced the situations that Phil, Tim, and Dakota went through better. Although, I might not have enjoyed this book more than I had hoped, I still want to try another one by this author.
I found Weeks while browsing the Best Zombie Books Listopia list, and the premise caught my attention. I'm always looking for zombie stories that focus on survival as much as the undead, and this one delivered. I liked the road-trip feel of the journey and the way the characters had to rely on each other to keep going. If you're searching that Listopia for something beyond the usual zombie action, this one is definitely worth checking out.
While I was looking for more zombie apocalypse books, I came across *Weeks* and decided to give it a try. I really enjoyed the survival aspect of the story and how it focused on the struggles between the characters, not just the zombies. The journey felt dangerous, and the world-building made me curious to see what happens next. A solid read for fans of post-apocalyptic stories.
Ever since I read the description, I have been curious about this one. A post-apocalyptic journey across the United States and Canada with zombies sounds like the kind of survival story that keeps me turning pages. I always enjoy stories where the characters have to keep moving instead of staying in one place.
I had been wanting a zombie story that focused on survival instead of nonstop action, and this delivered exactly that. I liked following the characters as they searched for somewhere they could finally call home. The world felt harsh, but there was still enough hope to keep me invested. I will definitely continue with this series.
This turned out to be a really enjoyable read. The setting after the nuclear fallout immediately pulled me in, and I liked that the dangers came from more than just the undead. The characters had to make difficult choices, which made the story feel more believable. I am looking forward to seeing what happens next.
I really liked the feeling of isolation in this book. The characters are surrounded by a world that has almost completely disappeared, and there is always this question of whether they will find somewhere better. That made the journey feel meaningful rather than just being about getting from one place to another.
This sounds like exactly what I have been searching for lately. I enjoy zombie novels that focus just as much on the people as the danger around them. The road trip element makes me even more interested because there is always room for unexpected encounters.
I cannot resist a good post-apocalyptic adventure, especially one that follows a small group trying to find a safe place to start over. The description makes it sound tense and emotional. Definitely adding this to my reading list.
The combination of nuclear fallout, undead hordes, and a cross-country survival journey immediately caught my attention. I enjoy stories that explore what people are willing to do to protect the people they care about. Looking forward to reading this.
I have been working through more independent zombie fiction recently, and this sounds promising. I like the idea that the survivors have to face more than just the undead. That usually makes for a much richer story.
I am only a little way into this book, but the survival atmosphere has been keeping my attention. The world already feels dangerous, and I am interested to see where this journey takes the characters.
I always enjoy post-apocalyptic fiction that puts relationships at the center of the story, and this book did that well. Phil, Tim, and Dakota felt like people who had been through a lot together. Their determination to keep moving despite everything around them kept me turning the pages.
This was a pleasant surprise. I expected plenty of zombie action, but I ended up enjoying the survival aspects even more. The journey across the country gave the story a sense of adventure while still reminding the reader how dangerous the world had become. A solid start to the series.
I do not read many independent zombie novels, but this one was worth picking up. The combination of post-apocalyptic survival, constant danger, and a small group trying to stay together made for an engaging story. I finished it wanting to know where the journey would take them next.
This has everything I usually look for in a post-apocalyptic novel. A journey across the country, zombies, and a group of survivors trying to find a safe place to rebuild their lives sounds like a story I would enjoy. I have a feeling this will be a tense and emotional read.
This sounds like the kind of story that is difficult to put down. I enjoy books where the characters are constantly on the move because there is always something unexpected waiting for them. The setting after a nuclear fallout makes me even more curious.
This sounds like a book that will keep me hooked from beginning to end. I enjoy stories where survival is about more than fighting zombies. The journey across different places and the promise of unexpected threats makes this one very appealing.
I have been in the mood for a good post-apocalyptic adventure, and this seems to check every box. A small group of survivors, a dangerous world, and the search for a new beginning is exactly the kind of story I enjoy reading.
The description gave me the feeling that this is going to be more character driven than I expected, and I really like that. A zombie novel with friendship, faith, and survival at its core sounds like it has a lot of potential. Definitely moving this higher on my reading list.
This has been sitting on my reading list for a while, and I think it is finally time to give it a chance. I enjoy discovering independent zombie novels, and this one sounds like it has an interesting mix of suspense, survival, and emotional moments.
A world destroyed by nuclear fallout, relentless undead, and a dangerous journey to find a safe place to live? That is more than enough to convince me. I have high hopes that this will be a memorable survival story with characters worth rooting for.
I enjoy stories where the characters have to earn every small victory, and this sounds like one of those books. The setting feels bleak, but the search for a better future gives me hope that there will be plenty of memorable moments. I cannot wait to start it.
The description immediately caught my attention. I like post-apocalyptic stories that combine dangerous travel with meaningful character relationships. This sounds like a book that will keep me invested in both the action and the people.
I have been trying to find more zombie novels that are not afraid to explore life after everything has fallen apart. This one sounds like it has the right balance of suspense, survival, and emotional depth. Looking forward to reading it.
There is something about a group of survivors setting out into the unknown that always draws me in. Every decision matters, and every new place could bring hope or disaster. This sounds like the kind of adventure I could easily get lost in.
I have heard good things about this series, and the premise sounds fantastic. A journey through a ruined world filled with zombies and other dangers is exactly the kind of story I enjoy. I am excited to see how these characters handle everything thrown at them.
I am only a few chapters in, but I already care about this group of survivors. There is something about the way they keep pushing forward, even when everything seems impossible, that has me emotionally invested. I cannot wait to see where their journey leads.
I started this last night, thinking I would only read a chapter or two, but I ended up staying awake much longer than I planned. The atmosphere is tense, and I keep worrying about what is waiting for these characters around the next corner.
I am about halfway through, and I am really enjoying it. I like that it is not only about zombies. The relationships between the characters make the story feel much more meaningful, and I keep hoping they all make it to wherever they are trying to go.
