Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Julian is in a dump where his life and writting career is going. Something is missing from his life, he knows he should be happy with his love life with Rodney but again something is missing. When his city his hit with a killer on the loss, he hopes to help the readers of The Edge to see danger before it hits them.  Meeting a young man with interesting eyes one violet one blue at the library was an unexpected but intriguing outcome.
Finn has nothing left of his home. Something unknown is on the hunt killing his people, stuck in a world of humans. Meeting a human and trusting one wasn't something he was parperped for but some inner instincts was guiding him where Julian was considered. This was a wonderful beginning for adventurous romance between Julian and Finn with drama and death hanging over the horizon. Can't wait the rest of their jouarny.

Black Order against Red Order, and a young man is caught in the middle.

Finn's situation is scary and desperate. His whole life is turned upside down, his parents and entire pack are killed, and he's forced to seek help in the city. So many truths have been kept from him and now he's being hunted to be killed by some unknown forces.

I was glad to see that Finn found some solace in the arms of Julian, who in turn finally gets some peace and direction for his life. Maybe their connection is too immediate, in my opinion, but it's obviously what both men need in their dire situation.

So,Hidden Secrets is a an interesting book and intriguing start to the Covenant Of The Red Order series. I have so many questions and I can't wait to see if any will get answers in the next book.

The centuries old battle between the Red Order and Black Order has come to the surface again. With the Black Order slaughtering scores of Red Order members, they are searching for the final chosen one! Finn..... Enters Julian trying to find the connection behind the slaying of people with a red cape left behind. The instant attraction between Finn and Julian brings them together to explore this attraction, but to also be there for each other in the fight against the Black Order.

What do you get when you mix a shifter on the run and in hiding, a burnt out journalist who needs something to rekindle his creative spark, murder, betrayal, danger, mystery, simmering chemistry, more twists and turns than a roller coaster, and where nothing and no one are what they appear to be? You get this fantastic, fast paced, action packed, amazing, and totally awesome tale that had me hooked from beginning to end, and eagerly looking forward to what happens next in this intriguing new series.

This was a great start to a new series. The storyline I found to be intriguing and well written. The characters were at a place in their lives that is relatable, and they were well developed as well. Finn was at that age where to him he's an adult, but everyone around him sees him as a child that still needs guidance. And Julian's personal and work life is in a serious rut. Their story along with the murder of Finn's pack sucked me. I cant wait for book 2.
