First off can we talk about how beautiful that cover is?! Like I hope that I look that beautiful on my wedding day. 😍😍 Like I almost need just a blown up image of that cover to put on my wall. Now onto the real goods of this review, the meat... The read itself.
Even though it is truly a definition of a quicky there is SOO much packed between the pages, but one thing stays true through the whole thing, love. Desire. Intense Passion. Like where do I find me a man like Ash, if y’all know shoot me a message cause lawd almighty. Military, dominating, sexy as sin while being the perfect gentleman. The line starts behind me. I licked him, called dibs, he’s mine. Well technically he’s Sophie’s, but who’s paying attention. And Sophie, gosh, I want to be her friend. Fun, sweet, kind, and can we say STUNNING?! Refer back to the cover, cause that’s how I see her.
Your jaw will be on the floor and your thighs clenched tight, up till the end but it will leave your heart full. LOVED. LOVED. LOVED. Plus an even bigger bonus for me, it brings the best of both worlds together. My Bliss Brothers and my Wounded Heart series. *swoon* Don’t miss this read!
Sophie is at Bliss to marry Clayton. Except that is not quite what happens. He bails on her by literally running out on their wedding. Thank goodness. She still wants her dream wedding night. And she gets every steamy bit of it with her actual dream guy, Ash, her brother's best friend. All the sweet steamy goodness! This flirt has all the hotness! And we get a glimpse of Beau Bliss and our Wounded Hearts. Amelia gives us tasty, delicious wedded bliss.

This… This… This novella left me speechless…, breathless…, hot… …! I don’t know how Ms. Wilde keeps doing this… but this is another phenomenal read! Deeply emotional, kind of twisted, full of building-up tension… just pure awesomeness! I loved every single world of this Bliss-Brothers-meet-Wounded-Hearts-novella. Phew....
This is the best in this series! Even though almost the entire book takes place in one day, the characters are fleshed out really well, the attraction/emotional connection is fully developed, and everything of resolved to pure satisfaction. Sophie and Ash are perfection. Clay is a jackass and I'm so glad he is. Very satisfying read, highly recommend!
What happens when the better man kisses the bride......
Kiss the Bride is one of the books in the A Wedding Season series and is by Amelia Wilde. I adored this short story as it grabbed your attention and held it all the way through. You could fell for Sophia and Ash and their feelings for each other but the inability to act on them due to loyalty to others. Sophie and Ash had first first 3 years prior when she was at the family's summer cottage on a lake and Ash come for a week with her brother Gunner. Ash and Gunnar were in the military together and on leave before they were deployed overseas. So nothing could ever happen between then because Ash was loyal to Gunnar so the sister of a military brother was off limits. Now that is not to say that he did not look at her and have more than a few fantasies, nor that he actually fell in love with her. But still, loyalty is loyalty and all that bro code stuff.
The story opens on Sophie's wedding day to Clay. Things do not go off quite as smoothly at Sophie had expected at her dream wedding. In fact it all blows up during the "Do you take this Sophie as your wife?" when the schmuck Clay can't get a coherent answer out. He does a runaway groom and end up running directly into the mouth of some redhead in the parking lot. I say lucky Sophie as not only did she end up not married to him but apparently he was really bad in bed.............so lucky escape on both fronts!!!
Ash goes after Sophie after she went after Clay. They end up going up to the suite at the hotel and one thing leads to another which then leads into a "wedding night in the afternoon". Amelia can definitely describe in very great detail what the oasis of time spent together was like. Let's just say that I had a huge smile on my face while reading this chapter!!!
The question now becomes what to do from here? Will Ash stay loyal to Gunnar and the bro code loyalty pact? Does Sophie want more from Ash and is willing to go after Ash for it? What to do about all the guests that are still downstairs waiting for an explanation? Who will eat all the food that has already been paid for? Pick up Kiss the Bride and find out what happens to Sophie, Ash and what happens when the better man kisses the bride.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I have no idea how Amelia Wilde managed to pack so much depth into such a short novella, but WOW it really felt like a full story. The story follows Sophie as she is about to get married, just before things start to veer off course. When she is left at the altar, her brother’s best friend and longtime crush, Ash, comes to make sure that she is okay. They’ve had feelings for each other for years but have never acted on or acknowledged their feelings for their own reasons. Now there is nothing holding them back, and Sophie just wants to feel like a real bride.
This book is funny, sexy, a bit filthy and full of emotion. Amelia Wilde’s writing is great - we get a little background on the characters, an understanding of how they feel in present day, and we feel the palpable chemistry between them now. If you’re looking for a quick, romantic yet also sexy read, this is a great story.

Kiss the bride is a novella that is a part of the wedding season series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. Ash has been in love with his best friends little sister for three years. When he steps in for his best friend and attends Sophie’s wedding. What Ash doesn’t expect is for a chance for him to get the woman he loves to open up. When Sophie’s wedding doesn’t go to plan, she soon finds herself getting close to her brothers best friend. When the chance comes for them to be together, will they take it? The chemistry between Ash and Sophie is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I liked how much Ash wanted Sophie and it didn’t take much convincing for him to take a chance. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.
Another amazing read by this author. I loved Ash and Sophie together. So many emotions, the denial of feelings to the exact moment in time when you realize that the one person you always wanted, wanted you back. The heavens shined down on Sophie on her wedding day when her fiance flew the coop and left her standing there in shock, left in the hands of Ash who has secretly been pining away for her for years. When the time is right, the time is right, these two are explosive, deliciously delectable, steamy and oh so passionate. This was a quick read you don't want to miss out on. Loved it and I loved how everything was intertwined with the Bliss resort.
A Blissful wedding, brimming with emotional upsets, passions rising, and the real deal- no holds barred love working its way out from underneath it all is just a hint of the intoxicating story of Ash and Sophie, Ms. Wilde has cast for us to devour. Oh, My and I cannot thank her enough! Whether you are new to her work or seasoned with her unique style, I highly recommend taking 'Kiss The Bride' for a whirl- The only thing " small " about this book is the page count! It's sexy, savvy, twisty, emotional, funny, and hotter than Hades! I could have read about this explosive witty couple all day! One Click Material that deserves more than 5 stars!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book If you love a story that is romantic, full of passion, a sexy man and a woman who crushes on him well this story is for you. Ash and Sophie have Unknowingly had a crush on each other for years. Ash made a promise to his friend Gunnar, never to date his sister Sophie. So sad but now they are older. Who would have though Ash would save the day. Brilliant story, loved it and especially bringing two series together...Bliss brothers and Wounded hearts.
Ash won’t break the bro-code when it comes to his BF’s little sister, no matter how much she means to him. Sophie has had a crush on her brother’s BF ever since they first met, but she’s marrying someone else, until she isn’t. What are they going to do when given the opportunity to realize how deep their feelings for each other really are? Read it and find out! This is a delightfully charming and extremely HOT love story you won’t want to miss. I highly recommend this wonderful start to a new series!!
I so loved this! This is my first book by this author because she was part of this collaboration. Now I’m hooked and will be picking up her other books. Sophie and Ash are hot, and perfect for each other! Sophie gets stood up at the altar and Ash is there to help her. And boy, does he help her. But it also helps for them to admit their feelings for each other. I loved their epilogue and now I can’t wait to read more from Amelia Wilde.

Kiss the bride is a cute, fast paced, feel good read.
Sophie has planned her dream wedding for months and is ready to walk down the aisle but does the groom share the same excitement? After being left at the altar can Sophie salvage her wedding? She knows she sounds crazy but can she find a replacement groom?
Enter Ash Montgomery.
Is he lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time? Will he cross the line and marry his best friend’s little sister? Or will he leave her at the altar too?
This was an absolutely heart melting, swoon worthy quick read. Sophie and Ash provide you with all the feels you could ask for as their story unfold. All the forbidden feelings of a brother's best friend romance is mashed-up with all the angst of carrying the torch for an unrequited love into a sweet and steamy treasure of a novella. All thought and opinions in this review are entirely my own and posted by my own choice.
A fun sexy Novella about being dumped at the alter but with a twist. Sophie Langdon was in the middle of her wedding when her groom changed his mind and bolted. Ash Montgomery her brothers best friend was relieved but went after Sophie to make sure she was okay. They both have had feelings for one another for years but have never acted on them until Sophie realized she was relieved by the turn of events. What happens will pleasantly surprise you in the end. Kudos to Amelia Wilde
Sophie is supposed to get married today but the groom has other ideas. Ash is thanking his lucky stars that Sophie's groom walked out. He's loved her since he first laid eyes on her but being her brother's best friend complicates things so he never made a move. Now after almost marrying Mr. Wrong Sophie is looking to her Mr. Right (Ash) for comfort and he's just the guy to do that. Sweet with a bit of hot and steamy.
Sophie has had a thing for her brother's best friend Ash since the first day she met him and Ash has felt the same way about her but neither of them acted on it. I loved the chemistry between Ash and Sophie and that they hid their feelings for so long that when they finally acted on them the explosion was sweet. This is a quick, well written story and a great addition to the Wedding Season series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Loved this! I’m a sucker for brothers best friend romance. This one was perfect. I loved the flash backs to their first meeting and how they both felt the connection but it just wasn’t the right time. I also loved how they were both brave enough to take the step, at a very awkward and confusingly emotional time, to say how they felt and to know that that person was the only one who could heal them.
This is such a cute novella. We are at the Bliss Resort for a wedding. Sophie has the perfect dress, but does she have the perfect groom? This novella may be short, but it has lots of steam and emotion. It will give you the feels. Ash and Sophie are so perfectly matched for each other and prove it. Be sure to pick up this wedding story, you won’t be sorry.
This was short but packed a great punch I thought it was super sweet and so adorably sexy. Ash and Sophie were made for each other, even in a horrible situation crazy good things can really happen and the jokes at the end with Mallary and Gunnar were just perfect no holding back any info for that one, they both had me laughing at the antics. I loved it
Wow - Wow - Wow!!! Sophie is having her wedding at the Bliss Resort. It's her dream wedding, dress and destination. When her fiancé walks, it's her brother's best friend who steps in to help her. Soon crushes and chemistry are revealed. Will Sophie get her wedding night, passion, and her HEA? This quick read is sweet, steamy and so much more!!!
This story was so good, a fairy tale for Sophie and a dream come true for ash. These two are explosive, and the setting is romantic and also pretty funny. Their long time coming “afternoon delight” is steamy and such an easy read I will most definitely read it again.
