We know Bathian from all the previous novels but until these books Eva is a stranger and only made reference to in Nathalie and Andrew’s Dark Warrior books. As well as telling Bathian and Eva’s story these set of novels will continue the investigation into other possible dormants as well as cultivating a delectable side love story.
The series continues to wow in its uniqueness, its inventiveness and its amazingly versatile characters and its amazing world building including how she injects brilliant 21st century technology into this clan of centuries to millennial aged immortals. Bathian and Eva have a history and it’s interesting to see how Lucas cultivates it because of that history. The Clan continues to prepare for some foreseen war between themselves and their mortal enemies, The Doomers and in the investigation into this enemy there are some revelations that will really have the pages flying. The dialogue is dark although there are many light-hearted moments and of course there are some piping hot love scenes. This series is addictive, fast paced and fun but they must be read in order.
SUMMARY:
Now that Bathian has found his daughter Nathalie and she is safely mated he is as determined as ever to find the one woman he never forgot, the only woman he ever loved, his true mate and Nathalie’s biological mother Eva. He hasn’t seen her since she told him she was pregnant over three decades earlier and since she’s an expert at hiding finding her won’t be easy, but he won’t give up until he succeeds.
Eva always thought her youthfulness was due to a government experiment gone bad as was afraid they may one day come looking for her so to save the daughter she loves more than life she disappeared without a trace. Then one day the one man she could never quite get out of her mind and her heart, Nathalie’s father tracks her down and tells her a story that is too fantastical to be made up.

It's so hard to review this book without spoilers, so I'll just say it's one of the best in the series so far!
Eva isn't exactly what you thought she'd be based on Nathalie's memories - she's even better! She harbors deep secrets, but her love for humanity and justice shines an almighty beacon.
She's tough as nails, but underneath her hard exterior, lies a beautiful, broken woman. Will she rekindle the long lost romance with Bhathian?
Nathalie couldn't be happier to have her mom back in her life, especially now with her baby so close to being born...but Nathalie has struggles of her own.
There's so many storylines interweaving within this book, you get lost and mesmerized by each and every new detail. New characters are brought in and I have a feeling they'll play a significant role later on.
This is yet another five-star, must-read by I.T. Lucas! I absolutely love this series and can't wait for the next installment.

Filled with suspense, romance and heart wrenching revelations, Dark Guardian Found advances the story of the Children of the Gods and, as always, leaves you wanting more. I.T. Lucas continues developing her amazing world and her brilliant characters with each word she writes.
In this installment, we finally meet Eva, who has been eluding discovery. Compelled to see the daughter she left so many years before, she is drawn into the world of Annani's children and straight into the arms of the one whom Fate destined to be her own. She brings great characters with her, ones whom I'm sure will have their own stories to tell.
If you love PNR, you owe it to yourself to start this series. It is so worth the binge read it will take you to catch up; you won't want to stop until you've caught up to the next release. Which, thank heavens, is coming soon.

Starting loose it’s momentum
Glad to finally get to meet and know Eva and some of her background.
I don’t understand why information is not being passed between these people though. Nathalie hasn’t told Eva about her gift. Amanda and Syssi haven’t really bothered to get to know Eva, an immortal that has been out on her own for years. Has anyone even told Annani that they found her? I’m sure she’s heard though. Eva hasn’t mentioned the guy she saw at the club. Robert didn’t mention who he saw in the casino in Vegas that made him decide to go home with Carol.
And a few books back, when Carol was taken, Kian said they were going on the offensive to take out the Doomers, but after the monastery attack, they haven’t done anything. They knew someone would have had to come to see what happened to the team there, especially after Dalhu told them who Sharim/Sebastian was, yet they didn’t leave any cameras or have the airports watched to see if anyone arrived.
The declarations made aren’t being followed through anymore. It’s said for one book and then forgotten in the next. Robert not mentioning Losham for almost 9 months? I understand him being reluctant to snitch on his people, but Losham is a threat to not only him, but the entire clan that took him in! Like seriously?
Anyway, the storyline is still interesting since most of the characters get you attached to them. I don’t care for Carol or Nathalie. I think Robert deserves someone much better and that Kian gets him his own apartment so that he can have the opportunity to see if his true love mate is around. I would hate it if the author finagles a relationship out of them. There’s no chemistry at all so trying to create it later after almost a year is ridiculous. Let them each find their happiness elsewhere. It was good of Robert to save her, but that as far as it should have went, urges aside.

Enjoying the series.
I do like this series and will most certainly keep reading til the end, as I can't bare to leave something unfinished. I love the characters and really am enjoying the new ones in this book too, but to know more of the previous characters is what makes this book. This book on its own is not the best in the series, but it scores points by adding to what come before. It's the old adage - it's the sum of it's parts that make it stronger not the individual. It really felt like the author skimmed over the top of the story and missed so many chances to really take a good story into greatness. I still want to know more though, I'd just like it more in depth - I want to feel the emotions not just be told they are there. I hope that makes sense. Til the next installment, thanks.

Another great match up with these characters. Eva is such a strong, independent woman. She used to work for the DEA and owns her own private investigation business. She is Nathalie's mother and way more intriguing than expected.
Bathian has been lonely and broken-hearted since he could not find Eva for over 30 years. Now that she is back he is doing everything he can to win her back.
I love all of these characters. I'm glad we still get to see characters from previous books show up and create a whole world of our immortal Gods together.
I have loved Jackson since he first made his appearance. He has become someone Nathalie can depend on. He has helped in every possible way he could to give Nathalie a reprieve. He is charming, witty, dependable, loyal, quirky and sweet. He has all of my respect and I can't wait to get more of Jackson.
Overall, I love the Eva and Bathian love match and can't wait to see it progress further.

Love them all
Ok! Yes! I have waited this long to write a review of this beautiful series. Why? Because I was enjoying each book, so much I couldn't wait to download the next book of each story of each couple of this clan and the next follow ing story. At this point I decided to take a breather and reflect. My assessment, this writer (I. T. Lucas) gives me everything I crave in adult romance books. Great sex, great situations, love, adventure, intrigue and satisfaction. Thank you, I. T. Lucas! Keep writing! I love these paranormal great love stories. Helps me enjoy quiet times more while doing what I love best. Reading!

Dark Guardian Found KU 290 pgs **** 6/28/21 Bhathian & Eva
4 stars because of filler pages. The story of Bhathian and Eva is very exciting and new. Their chemistry is magnetic, long lost feelings come back and are slowly bringing them back together. The sex scenes were good, much more intense than in the other books. Nathalie and Andrew are struggling trying to stay apart because of the biting during sex and her being pregnant, she can’t go through the transition. They are both miserable and lonely which upsets the entire group. Story flowed much better, finished this shorter book quickly. Looking forward to the next one with more of Bhathian and Eva.

Wonderful story
I continue reading these books because each one gets better and better. They are told with in-depth backgrounds on each new story and they all run together so beautifully. I have started some series and stopped after the second book because there is no background (or not enough, at least for my taste). These just get better and better and now I'm repeating myself. I love Blathian and Eva's story. The way they have come together after so any years and expecting a grandchild no less.

I love this book series. I fell in love with Kian and Sissy and then Dahlu and Amanda, next came Natalie and andrew and now Bhanthan and Eva. The characters and love interest just keep coming and the story behind all of them is so intriguing and sexy. I love Jackson and like that he is so overprotective of Tessa, I really believe Evas group of workeres could be immortals but may have the dormant gene....

Really good series
The whole series is amazing. There's no book I don't like. There are parts where the story is so good that I sometime find myself speed reading , she's so descriptive, so I can finish the suspense. I whole heartedly recommended all the books but start with book one is highly recommended

I've enjoyed all the books in The Children Of The Gods series. Dark Guardian Found is no exception.
Locating Eva has given Bhathian hope for the future again. His loneliness has ebbed, and his proverbial scowls are infrequent.
Bhathian is convinced that Eva is his true mate. Now he just has to convince Eva of that.
Great series!

Black Daggers and Dark Hunters fans this is for you
I chose to give this book in the series a 4 stars rating because it was a cliff hanger and no likey the wait for it thing, but otherwise this book is delicious as is the entire Children of the Gods series. Strong and likable characters villains you love to hate funny but kickers men everything a great read needs.

Awesome series by awesome author
When I reach the end of each of these books I can’t hardly wait to start reading the next one in line. I am captivated by every word she writes and as I am reading these books I can visualize every scene as if I am right there in this story. Each character has their own completely different identity with their own story. Great read!

Loved the series of the children of the gods need to read series from beginning to understand the dynamic of loans clan. This seri e Nathalie finds out her mother is alive and blathian her biological father whom had been looking for Eva finds out she's immortal and comes across the man whom made her immortal not blathian.

I really like Eva and I really like her and Bhathian together. I wanted a story with a kick-ass female, and I got it.
I could still do without Losham's chapter... although I suppose it fits in with Eva's "side job".
I can't wait to see how Eva's "kids" fit into future stories. I already like Tessa and Jackson together.

Eva and Bhathain are finally in the same place after thirty-one years? They are not the same people they once were, yet those differences may make the possibility of a current relationship even more realistic. Many obstacles to overcome, including troubles with Nathalie and Andrew over the pregnacy, and Jackson and Tessa's new romance. Stay tuned to the next chapter of The Immortals!

Addictive
Things are really heating up with these immortals. Lots of new characters to get to know and love. I have a feeling Tessa is going to burn my world down. Eva is 100% bad@$$. Bhathian is ready to jump in with both feet and Eva is only willing to hand out training wheels. Nathalie is ready to pop, and Andrew might just explode. Lol.

Yes. I would recommend this book of the series. However, I skimmed over much of it, since the sex scenes are basically the same. Besides, I was not really interested in Eva’s backstory. It was as I imagined it would be. This episode quickly rocketed me to the next book.

Got to just keep reading ..
Fabulous set of books so far. Still got lots to go but story line is good, even though there are some real raunchy stuff in them its not in every chapter.. the baxkground story is well thought out and written to perfection.. so i just got to keep on reading

Wonderful.
Enjoy so much the way the story is written. The sex is life changing for me since I never orgasm. But the relationships between the characters is amazing. I am on my 3rd reading of this series and I learn more each time. I am having a hard time finding other books to read as they are not of the same caliber.

Huge difference from the last book. This story of Eva and Bhathian was nicely written and a I feel like my author is back. I almost debated whether I wanted to read it after that last book, but I'm definitely glad I did. Can't wait for the next book.

Finally a true story line that ended up being full of life. I actually felt connected to the characters and the events of the book made sense. It was just right. Enough sex and enough adventure and then the blossom of love emerges,satisfying and complete
