This is the 3rd book in the Seven Sons Ranch and it's just as good as the first two. Liam has had feelings for Callie who lives on the next ranch over called Shining Star. One of her sisters has married Liam's brothers. When Liam offers to help Callie keep Shining Star from going into bankruptcy by marrying her, Callie reluctantly agrees. They both make lists of what is allowed but most of them go by the wayside after they get married and decide that they really do love each other. Liam is jealous of his brother, Jeremiah's friendship with Callie. One of the rules was that Callie couldn't argue with how Liam spends his money at the ranch. He makes plans that crews will come in and redo the whole Shining Star without telling Callie while they are on their honeymoon. The night before they come back, the secret is told to Callie. Will their marriage withstand the secret and Liam's jealousy? In this book, we see a few more backgrounds on the Walker brothers. I can't wait for Jeremiah's story that's up next. I received an ARC from the author without any expectation of a review.
This is a proper novel, not a novella, so I found myself a bit surprised at the beginning of the book where it seems like we start in the middle of the story—or at least past the beginning—with the hero’s proposal already being shot down by the heroine. I guess the author felt the need to get to the crux of the story quickly—to their actual marriage—but I prefer there to be at least a little background in general and one that isn't just told but shown (which was definitely a problem in this book). I also found the language of the book to be somewhat stilted, though I cannot put my finger on precisely what I found wrong with it. But it made it a hard slog to get into this particular writer’s style. I'll admit, too, that I find it a little odd that the hero is a cowboy, a billionaire, and tech genius. It's almost as if the author is trying to hit upon multiple trendy themes in one character. The book just didn't sit quite right with me.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
This is a sweet Christian love story. Liam and his brother’s have a Ranch next to Callie’s ranch. Liam has been infatuated with her for awhile. She at first talked to him, but then went silent. Callie and her two sisters have run their ranch for a few years, but unfortunately it is run down. Liam asks her to marry him and he will bring the ranch up to where it should be. Liam and his brothers do not have to worry about money. There are many factors that cause Callie and Liam trouble. There is jealousy, guilt, inferiority, and others. The brothers are so loving and giving. It was nice to see so many people helping with Callie’s ranch. I encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.
This is my first book by this author and I love marriage of convenience stories, but this one just wasn't for me. I wanted to read about Liam and Callie, not all the other characters. I'd get into reading a chapter, then have to wait for 2-3 chapters for the story to go back to them. It totally threw me out of the plot. I understand about setting up for the next book, but too much time was devoted to secondary characters.

Liam's Invented I Do is a trip back to Three Rivers to visit the Walker brothers and the Foster sisters. Liam has been crazy about Callie since he first seen her but she was always talking with Jeremiah. He tells Liam they are just good friends. Liam tried everything to get her to date him. He had wanted to help her pay her bills as she carried the weight of that ranch alone. He finally suggests they get married and that love will grow over time. When she tells him they are foreclosing on her ranch, he steps in and takes care of it and he had already fell in love with Callie. He plans a 2 week honeymoon while all their siblings and the new cowboys and cowgirls they hired completely remodeled the house, cabins, lawn, and barns. By this time Callie has already fell in love with Liam. He was sent a text by her sister that he better break the news before he brings Callie home. When he tells Callie his surprise, Liam spends the night on the couch. When she goes to thinking about how different her life has been with Liam, she is so grateful to God for sending the Walker brothers as neighbors and especially Liam to be her true love.
Liam’s Invented I Do is by Liz Isaacson. This is the third book in this series of the Seven Sons Ranch. The ranch was purchased by Rhett but recovered and run by Jeremiah, the eldest son. However, all the boys have a place on the ranch and own a part of it if they chose. Liam has fallen for Callie, next door; but Callie is totally involved with her ranch. Her ranch is falling apart and she hasn’t been able to pay the mortgage. It is now coming up for foreclosure and she is at a loss at what to do. He agrees to marry Callie and pay off her loans then help her run the ranch. She hopes she has made the right decision. Liam begins to made decisions about the ranch that concern her. He has had it completely redone the ranch and house. Simone has moved out and it leaves onl he and Callie in the hose. He thinks he is doing it for her; but is he? She thinks he is doing it with some hidden motive. Can she trust him?
A couple of months ago, the fifth book in this series introduced me to the “fake marrriage” trope. The notion both entertained and puzzled me, and since then I have read a few more titles from the series (in order from book #1) — using them as “insomniac” books.
These stories no longer entertain me; in fact, they have become downright annoying. I have grown weary of the pathetic female characters who seem unable to believe that a disgustingly wealthy man could love rather than pity them. At the same time, I am tired of these wealthy brothers who, in the face of repeated excuses and rejections from these women, continue to trail around after them like lovesick puppies. Do they all suffer from low self-esteem or is it a saviour complex that afflicts them (all seven of them)? Or is that question even worth pondering?
I think I’m done with this series — unless at some point in the future I am desperate for an insomniac book.
This is a romantic and interesting story. Liam has been trying to get Callie to go out with him for a couple of years, but Callie isn't interested. When Liam discovers she needs money to save her ranch from foreclosure, he sees it as a way to win her. He asks her to marry him so that he can help her with money, because she won't accept charity. She does eventually accept, and he pays off her bills. But even though she's willing to marry, she isn't ready to have a relationship with Liam. They go back and forth about what they want before they marry, and Liam is jealous of Callie's friendship with his brother. It's an interesting storyline, but it drags a bit. Liam is a nice guy, but his jealousy wasn't cool. Callie is timid and very stubborn. There's a little about Miah's new interest, and a hint that Wyatt has his own girl trouble.
Liam has known he wants to be with Callie ever since he arrived in Three Rivers and the Seven Sons Ranch with his brothers. Only she refuses to give him any sign that she might be interested in him also! Then there's the relationship she seems to have with his oldest brother Jeremiah, or "Miah" as she calls him. Thing is that his brother and she both deny there's anything between them other than friendship, which he desperately wants to believe! Three years, three, have gone by and she won't even let him take her on a date! Only things are about to change, he doesn't know how or why yet, but something has to happen! What happens next? Only way to find out is to read this great story by Liz Isaacson! I love how she includes all seven of the Walker brothers and the three Foster sisters in each book along with other supporting characters 👍
Liam has loved Callie from afar for a long time but Callie has too much pride to give her heart away to just anyone. She likes Liam but she doesn't want to have to depend on him. Her ranch is a mess, as is her life and Liam wants to swoop in and take care of her but she is determined to not allow that. When she finally has to face the prospect of either losing the ranch or marrying Liam, what will she choose? Is it possible for her to set aside her pride to get everything she ever wanted? Can they have a happy ending?
I was a little annoyed with Callie's attitude through most of the book. Liam was so patient and loving and willing to give her everything she wanted and she kept "making rules". The story is clean and wholesome and does have a happy ending.
I listened to the audiobook version of this book and the narration was well done.
Callie Foster is trying to run the Shining Star Ranch and refuses to let it go but she has no idea how to run a ranch. She has fallen so behind in the mortgage payments that she might even lose it. But Liam Walker lives right next door and he has a lot of money. Liam really does like Callie and wants to help her. He has tried everything to do just that including asking her to marry him. The ups and downs in their relationship keeps you reading until the very end.
I never thought about how much men, especially in this case, cowboys have so much inner turmoil. The Walker brothers certainly have a hard time coming to terms with a lot of their emotions, especially when it comes to women. That is the part of what made this story so interesting, watching them deal with how they feel about themselves and those they love.
Swept Away would be a great title- these sweeps the storms at by, love sweeps the pain away & Cinderella fairy tale sweeps all romantic away!
This is a fairytale with real life hurdles. Falling for anyone is scary but the risk so worth it! Sallie the oldest of three sisters has lost her mom & now the matriarch of the family. Raising 2 sisters and keeping a Ranch built for a dozen men had made Sallie with no life. She shut down & secrets never stay buried. Liam Tripod twin and one of 7 Walker brothers whom own property next to Rallies Seven Son. Callie ranch shinning star. Liam knows Sallie needs help but stubborn and pride hold her back. Liam wants to protect and love. What will win out? Vo, S1 clean romance! Follow me at @my2centsbooklover Thank you!
I loved this book! It involved two ranches - one owned by very rich male Walkers. The other was run by the Foster sisters. Callie Foster had no idea how to run a Ranch & it became increasingly delaminates. Liam Walker wants to marry Callie to help save her Ranch. Callie sees to other way to save the Ranch than to marry Liam. This marriage was for the most part a funding transaction. Will Callie & Liam get married? Will they both follow rules that had been established? Get this book to find out! Ms. Isaacson describes the scenery so that I could actually picture the ranches. She has believable characters & conversations.she is one of my favorite authors!
Liam has been devoted to Callie for a while, but Callie is too self-conscious to want to risk her heart. She’s more comfortable with the easy friendship that she has with his brother. When Liam has the opportunity to propose to Callie in order to save her ranch, He hopes that this will create an arrangement similar to the arrangement that Tripp and Rhett got to enjoy. However, things are never that simple. This is a beautiful story about learning to trust yourself, have confidence in yourself, and to trust those around you. I received this book as an ARC, and I am leaving a voluntary review.
I loved this romance between Liam Walker and Callie Foster who were neighbors. They both wanted more than friendship but neither was willing to admit it. When Liam proposed before Christmas, Callie thought he was teasing. Liam had money and Callie was about to lose the ranch that had been in her family for generations, so he proposed in order to help her save the ranch. I highly recommend this book for those who enjoy a clean Christian romance. The characters are lovable and even though this book is a part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. I borrowed this book through KU, and this is my voluntary and honest review.
This was a fun read because the previous two books in the series had really built up this relationship. It was fun to see it finally develop and see these two people set aside differences and come together.
Callie seriously had a lot of pride she had to overcome and I found it interesting she didn't ask her sisters for help earlier but I guess that wouldn't have made as good a story. I do like Callie and Liam together and maybe they needed to be forced together with how they were acting before this.
It was sweet and there was no sex, swearing or violence.
Liam is a twin and a computer geek; he works from home. The next ranch is run by Callie Foster. She is the sister of his sister-in-law and the woman he's attracted to. She is in trouble and will lose the family ranch which is about to go into foreclosure. Great character with flaws but basically good. Callie is desperate. She really likes Liam but is embarrassed. She also cannot have kids but wants them. They wade their way through marriage to save the ranch to a deep love and adopted children.
Oh man I think Liam and Callie won me over. I mean it's hard to compare each story because each is unique but I really loved so many aspects of this one.
I loved the affection and romance especially. It was so believable and I loved how things were resolved in their relationship.
So many good things and I love the expending Walker family and seeing all the family interactions. ❤️

I loved this story! Jeremiah and Callie are best friends. Callie has a soft spot for Liam, but doesn't want his pity. Liam has loved Callie from a far. Liam would do anything to help Callie save her ranch, even fake marry her. Can Callie and Liam make their relationship work? Can they save her ranch from foreclosure? Find out in this beautiful fake Cowboy Romance! Happy Reading!
Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength. The short story of eroticism of sensation. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed. Thank you for allowing me to review your book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I thought this book was a great story. Liam had wanted Callie so long for his very own. Liam was very wealthy and Callie was struggling to keep her ranch afloat. Liam offered to give her some money to help with the ranch but she wouldn’t let him do that. Liam asks Callie to marry him and let him make her life better. She didn’t know what to do, she didn’t want charity. Great story, worth reading to see if she will accept his love.
What a catch each one of them is. These men were raised right. They love the Lord and manage to go to church. They are loving and loyal. I'm glad that Liam and Callie have made their peace. I hope they fill that house with lots of children. Now let's get Simone and the rest of those Walker brothers straightened out. Sweet story and a good ending.
The "I do" was invented, but the marriage was real
I loved e ery one of this book series about seven brothers who had broken hearts, but found new love. Two of three sisters are now married to two of the brothers. I'm looking forward to the next book to see if another brother can heal his broken heart and find happiness.
Callie Foster is about to lose The Shining Star ranch to foreclosure so she finally agrees to marry Liam Walker billionaire tech genius and neighboring cowboy. The plot involves them learning to live together and make decisions together, plus issues of trust and acceptance, especially on Callie’s part. An interesting series.
I love any book by Liz Isaacson. You can read her books and dream about love and happiness without the embarrassment of sexual details. I don't have to worry about one of my Grand Ones picking up my tablet and finding pornography. I love that her characters are Christians and that they know how to pray.
I've been enjoying the continuing episodes of the two ranches. The characters are complex enough for a light read. I also like the happy turns each takes as a pair of sweethearts are established. On to book four of the Three Rivers Romance series. Thank you Liz for writing these stories.
This is another good book by Liz. I am enjoying reading this series. The Walker brothers are rich and handsome with no pretense. They are kind and generous. Callie and Liam seemed to have figured out that they loved each quickly.
This series just keeps getting better and better. There is enough about the other brother's lives that keeps you wanting to start the next book, but that means you have to finish this one. And this one was so good. Clean romance. Highly recommend.
Liam and Callie both felt instant attraction and actually wanted a relationship with each other but both were afraid of relationships. I love this story of how they eventually came together.
