Well, this series continues to be inexplicably entertaining. Although I keep finding myself frustrated at Aika's budding relationship with Al. ("No! You love Akari!") Although, in the beginning of that chapter where she's fretting over showing Al her haircut, I really thought she was going to confess her feelings to Alice. Which, wouldn't have been my first choice, but I would have liked it better because we just don't see a lot of interactions between Al and Aika. I never like to see characters get together simply because they're opposite sex and single.

We got more of Alice this volume, woo! Love when she gets to be an awkward little gremlin compared to how outgoing Aika and Akari are. We also got a (kid) Akatsuki chapter this volume! Feel like we focused a lot more on the side characters, which is nice. I love Akari but the other characters being dorks and going off on their own is a fun change.

Some of the main take away from these issues are 1: it’s good to look at things from a different POV 2: you get what you put out into the world 3: watch out for open flames
