If I could give this 10 stars then I would, this is the most perfect conclusion to an exceptional trilogy! When we left this world at the end of the previous book, it was with the mother of all cliffhangers and our hero and heroine were in the most awful of situations. How on earth is Meg Anne going to take us from THAT to the necessary HEA which we are fairly confident to expect? It can't be done, is what I thought.

Oh me of little faith, she does it all right, but the cost is high. Warning - Meg Anne's Machiavellian genius has caused her to craft a tale so emotionally engulfing and intricate that you will feel like she has reached in to rip out your heart and pull the strings so tight until you can't stand it anymore and then finally release it. The tension in the first half of this book is torturous and heart-breaking with Lucian's frantic attempts to save the woman he loves amongst the backdrop of world in chaos and trying to stave off an insidious evil with no seeming cure or weapon.

If this wasn't bad enough and causing me to cry my eyes out, halfway through this book there is a brilliant plot twist which I was genuinely side swiped by. Unlike the previous book which was a gradual mounting dread of sliding into a twist which you sensed was coming but powerless to stop, this one literally comes out of nowhere! At least for me, and I LOVE THAT! Its increasingly rare for genuine OMG plot twists that have you gasping out loud but this was one for me.

All this together, including the lovely set up near the end for the next trilogy in this universe, has me saying this is by far, in my opinion, Meg Anne's best written solo work to date. The whole trilogy is beautifully crafted but she has written the most fitting and elegant conclusion in this book.

All of the above is heightened exponentially by her trio of actors for the audiobook of this story. Audiobook doesn't really cut it with these three, thanks to the absolutely revolutionary device of duet narration, these are more like epic immersive audioplays. The talent of James Joseph, Stella Hunter and Shane East is truly breathtaking and indescribable in mere words, it is simply something you have to EXPERIENCE for yourselves. These three manage to perfectly create an entire fantasy realm and the drama that goes with it with just their voices and no other audio effects. In other words, absolute legends.

By now everyone who knows me knows that I am the foremost champion of James Joseph whose uniquely smoky and sultry voice is perfect for romance audio but his talent as an actor is undeniable in that he can play a host of diverse incidental characters with the skill of a chameleon and just have you craving more. I still have unresolved issues about Kieran, who shall we say is definitely not the hero in this one, and I think a large part of that is because I just simply love James' nuanced portrayal of, what could easily be, a plain and simple unlikable brat.

Stella Hunter continues to reign as my ultimate Queen of Audio, her mercurial talent is once again showcased in this one calling on her to play everything from sinister and creepy shadow-touched, ethereal Queens and Goddesses, townspeople, soldiers and of course our beloved fierce and kind Effie. I adore listening to her in everything she does and long may she reign over me and my audioland.

However, Shane East leads the charge in this book and proves once and for all why he is one of the most popular voices in the audiobook world. His portrayal of Lucian in this book is flawless and demonstrates a masterclass of his acting range. From tortured heartache and despair, searing rage, playful seduction, brave warrior and everything in between he is the OG of romance audio narrator. On top of this he manages to voice a myriad of distinctive other voices, including a few scenes where he is voicing a conversation between three very different characters with what feels like effortless ease. This shouldn't surprise me as I have listened to Shane East solo narrate a number of books with amazing skill but he's always pulling out something extra to remind me why I love to listen to him. This book is one of his finest performances.

This book is incredible and I am sad the trilogy is over because I just want more!! Epic book hangover but totally worth it.

I voluntarily reviewed an early copy of this book :) wow... I mean... just... wow :) my mind is blown away by the awesomeness of this story :) I have troubles putting all my feelings into actual words and coherent sentences, but I will do my best :) it will not be easy, especially since this is a conclusion to a spin off series so I really want to write it all without any spoilers... so if I will be vague, you're just gonna have to forgive me :) cause I want this review to be able to be read by everyone, so I can convince them to give this author a try :) so first, let me give you some basic informations about this world and the order of the books :)

This series, as well as the original one, is set in the world of Chosen :) it's a fantasy world, with magic and some mythical creatures, but I don't want to get into too many details, cause all of them are wonderfully explained in the books... plus, we don't know all of the things straight from the beginning, so I want to leave those surprises for you to discover along the way :) ok, so the original series is called The chosen and consists of four books (Mother of shadows, Reign of ash, Crown of embers, Queen of light) and it tells a story about Helena... she discovers her powers at the beginning of the first book and her destiny to rule the kingdom... she creates her Circle of most trusted advisors and warriors and throughout the four books she learns more things about herself and what she's capable of, all during a war with a mysterious and powerful person who wants to reign death and destruction on her kingdom... it's amazing :) fair warning, most of those books end on a cliffhanger, so you are definitely in a better position while reading them now when they are all available, cause I had to wait for each story and it was agony... ok, moving on ;) that first series ends in a satisfying way when it comes to the main story, but it also sets up perfectly this spin off / companion series, called The keeper's with three books :) this one revolves around yet another fantastic heroine, Effie... we met her in the original series, cause she was a secondary character there... she went through quite a lot of things then and I really liked her... so imagine my surprise when I read this trilogy all about her and I fell in love even more... she's in a new place, still a part of the Chosen world, but separate from her friends... she has to deal with new circumstances... and I'm sorry, but that's all I can share because any additional details would be too spoilerific if you haven't read the books :) so instead, let me get into all my thoughts and feelings about this last installment :)

When I finished the second book in this series I wanted to hurl my Kindle out of the window... #TrueStory ;) I mean, knowing Meg Anne I knew I should have expected a cliffhanger... and I knew it would probably be a painful one... but man oh man... she almost killed me with that one :) so as soon as this little gem landed on my Kindle I knew I had to dive into it immediately ;) and it was soooooo worth the wait :) Meg not only gave me a fantastic resolution for the giant problem she left me with at the end of the second book, but also... just... *sighs happily* look, this was already a vast and diverse world full of potential... but now? I mean... :) we opened up even more very interesting possibilities... so I am here eagerly awaiting for the next series... cause trust me, there will be more, it's just a matter of time :) and as soon as it's possible I am gonna pre-order them :) I thought I could predict at least some of the things that might happen in this last installment about Effie, but Meg Anne just laughed at my plans and threw so many surprising twists and turns my way... ;) and I loved them all :) I swear, I fell in love with her writing style way back in the first The chosen book, and she just keeps getting better and better with each additional story... :) now that this phenomenal conclusion to Effie's story is available, you really have no excuses not to read them one right after another... trust me, that's the best solution to all the cliffhangers she's writing ;) just... go and read all of them cause they are absolutely fantastic:) full of strong and complex characters, romance and friendships, action and adveture with a big dose of magic... not to mention all the surprises along the way... it's entertainment in the best possible way, and if you haven't read her work yet you are missing out :) go remedy that situation right away ;)

XOXO

*ALC Audiobook Review*

*Standing ovation* What an epic ending to an utterly phenomenal trilogy! Meg Anne is simply masterful and meticulous in her planning and placement of characters from her other series' or within the same universe. Plus, just when you think you know where things are headed... NOPE! Completely blindsided in the best possible way. You will laugh and cry. You will want to murder certain characters. Most of all, you will be thoroughly satisfied with the ending and HEA.

I can't rave enough about the insanely talented Stella Hunter, James Joseph, and Shane East. They deserve all the awards, especially Shane. Switching seamlessly between 3 different accents in a conversation/scene blew my mind! I seriously don't know how he does it, but it was *chef's kiss* and next level.

It would be a crime to miss out on this series in audiobook. So go ahead and splurge! 1000% worth it!

Wow. Just wow. Okay, I need to take a moment to breathe.

This book never stops giving. There's so much action everywhere and I easily could've stayed up all night reading it because I didn't want to stop.

It starts where the last book left off (which I'm assuming you read and if you haven't go do it now), with Effie being a feral creature ready to tear everyone she loves from limb to limb. She has to be kept under lock and key until a cure can be found.

And then, nearing the middle of the book there's this huge twist. There's no way I could've predicted that.

But you know what else? HELENA'S BACK. Not to save the day, exactly, but close enough. AND WE FINALLY MEET NORD. IT'S BEEN SO LONG. I LOVE HIM.

Now Kieran, being the coward that he is, is still running and attempting to find a way back home when...DUN DUN DUN his own twist happens.

Ronan and Reyna still aren't together but things are looking up, BUT GUESS WHAT, THERE'S ANOTHER TWIST! Someday soon Ronan will be happy (hopefully in his own series).

Adding The Mother was another unexpected thing. I didn't think we'd ever get to meet her.

The book ends in a sort of cliffhanger, even though most things from previous books were wrapped up nicely. AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS. RUDE.

Meg Anne, you have to stop (never stop) writing addicting books.

Nord's story is next, might cry.

ALC Audio – The Keeper’s Vow : A Chosen Novel ( The Keeper’s Book 3)
Written by Meg Ann
Narrated in duet Shane East, Stella Hunter and James Jospeh

Meg Ann!!!!!! You did not DISAPPOINT ! This book picks up from the gut wrenching cliffy from book 2 Retribution . Effie for FFS can’t catch a break, now shadow touched consumed with corruption and condemned to faith worse than death . Kieran as we know lead by his emotions brought this into fruition . (I wanted to kill him many times ). Lucien will stop at nothing to protect Effie to bring her back and release this curse . Lucian stands firm on protecting her and keeping her within the confines amongst those she could harm is a dangerous game . As the guardian Lucian seeks out the art of transformation to save Effie. Will he be able to do so? ( I will never tell )😈

I am completely invested in this series with these characters, so many twist and turns. When you think you know you don’t ! We got a glimpse of the Lucien’s devotion to Effie in the previous books , however in this one we see much much more . Lucien meets with the councilmen and is strongly advised that what he is wanting to do could potentially jeopardize his own power. The story has accelerated to 60 MPH , magic and mayhem is knocking at the door, one wrong word, slight broken concentration and all HELL is unleashed. I have to give it to Lucian, he is very determined in his task to take back what was stolen . I am telling you now listeners we are in the thick of it , hold on as this ride gets VERY bumpy. Will Lucien and Effie find their way back to one another ?

In this final conclusion of fantasy and magic, there are so may things we discover but listeners I will not give those away and spoil this ride for you ( I’m excited for you all to get this book ). Kieran the coward he is; plot has a twist as far as he is concerned and boy it is a good . I am satisfied with this final installment Meg Ann came through and gave us the Smoke ( pun intended perhaps – maybe ).

Narrators , Shane East I cannot say enough how his narration is superb , chef’s kiss😘👌🏾. He never disappoints with the emotion he puts into any character . Stella is no slouch this woman is so super talented ( I fan girl all over her ) . James Joseph this guy has crept up on me and I absolutely adore his narration. You all truly brought this series to life . If I could give you all 10 stars I would because this was a 10 star series . Meg Ann , your mind and amazing world of fantasy and magic you brought to fruition. Thank you for giving us these amazing stories .

PS . Some listeners want to know if there is Sexy Time , well OF COURSE THERE IS 🔥
This is review is of my honest opinion

This was the perfect conclusion to the series, I loved it, such a wonderful and wild ride. The audiobook narrated by Stella Hunter, Shane East, and James Joseph is the way you need to experience this story. The plot was so good in this one, you closed everything as it should. The entire world-building was a masterpiece, I loved it all. The characters are fantastic and while in book two one certain character got to me more than the others, they ended where they should.

Wow! Just…. wow! What an amazing ride! Meg Anne is the queen of plot twists and cliffies. But I mean, c’mon. You have to know by now that a series is going to leave you wanting after every book and Meg Anne leaves you begging for more! This installment left me with some grand wtf moments and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

The narrators did a phenomenal job on the dual POV! Shane East and Stella Hunter are a dynamic duo. James Joseph is stellar as Kieran. They bring this series to life!

This trilogy was amazing from start to finish and kept me guessing every step of the way! Effie and Lucien’s slow burn romance was everything and I loved finally getting to see them find their happy ending after all of the obstacles in their way.

Stella Hunter, Shane East and James Joseph performed this story brilliantly and brought these characters and this Chosen world to life! Fantasy lovers you will want to pick up the trilogy!

The final story in the Legacy series starts off like a bullet from a gun and proceeds to blow away any preconceived thoughts you might have about how this series might end. Everything in books 1 and 2 is finished up and more is added. The creativity of The Chosen and The Keepers pulled me in; but the twists and turns kept me involved till the very end. Brava!!!!!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

***AudioBook ALC Review***
The Keeper’s Vow picks up where Retribution left off – such an agonising cliff-hanger, that you never saw coming and while this is the 3rd and final book in the keeper’s trilogy, it by no means is the end and sets the scene for something more and why I fell in love with Meg’s writing style in Undercover Magic series.

I love the way Meg has interconnected these series so that even though one series ends, she sets us up for the next series to begin so you get to meet best friends old and new.
We also get to finally meet Nord in this one and I love it.
I cannot fault anything in this book let alone the series. Meg definitely stepped it up a notch with each book and The Keeper’s Vow is no exception – the twist and turns in this book alone – especially in the first part which is Lucian’s journey to cure his beloved Fledgling, had me on edge, set my heart racing and brought me to tears.

Effie, Lucian and Kieran's slow-burn angsty mystical adventure includes:
🇬🇧British Heroes & Heroine
🖤 Dark Romance
🔮Romantasy
👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏼Fated Mates
⚔️Violence
🤍 Hate to Love Fireworks🎆

Effie is shadow touched and homicidal, barely resembling the Effie Lucian fell in love with, or as he explains to the Councilman: (Vance) of his feelings for Effie, I melted:
"Love is for mortals. It is far too simplified an emotion for what happens when a Guardian finds the one who makes his soul sing.”

Your heart really goes out to Lucian at this point, imagine the love of your immortal life, the one you’ve been waiting for, in over a thousand lifetimes, is hell-bent on trying to kill you?

Lucian’s steely resolve and unwavering determination to never give up on his love is gloriously excruciating to behold with case in point being the following scenes:

Chapter 1 Lucian:

“There was nothing in any world with more allure than a Guardian’s true purpose. Once found, it superseded any prior vows or commitments.
While it was not always a person, nor a relationship with romantic ties, a Guardian spent their immortal life searching to find and fulfil that. While Lucian had spent most of his life waiting for her—had even known to some degree that he would succeed in finding her—Effie had crashed into him like a wild storm.
He knew now that no amount of warning would have ever prepared him for her. “M’vitra pour vestry. Non refert l’coût.”
The words of his native tongue came unbidden, pouring out in a guttural rush. My life for yours. No matter the cost.
It was a Guardian’s most sacred vow. There were no words, in any language, that held more meaning for him, and right now it was the only thing he had to give. Brushing his knuckles across her cheek, Lucian leaned down to press his lips to Effie’s forehead. “I’ll find a way to bring you back, fledgling. Or I’ll die trying.”

It was at this point, Shane had me in tears and honestly, the outlook was looking bleak for our hero and his beloved fledgling: Effie.

The tragic circumstances at the end of Retribution, would have had others questioning how in the Mother’s Elysia would we see Lucian and Effie over-come the dire circumstances fate had imposed on them, but not me.
I knew Meg would not disappoint and like Lucian, I had to keep the faith that Meg would get us there.
What I was not prepared for was the performances of these wonderful voice actors.
You are listening to an audio play at this point: it’s a multi-cast, but it feels like it’s way bigger than it actually is. James Joseph is the perfect villain and perfect Kieran and I continue to be impressed by his depth of talent in his accent work, he’s fast become a real favourite of mine and many others to be sure.
Shane and Stella continue to get better and better with each performance.
We get to see more of a dark and creepy Stella here as Effie is shadow touched and possessed by an evil that is destroying her from the inside out.

I continue to be impressed and besotted by Shane’s performance as he brings so much emotion. The way he portrayed Lucian’s unwavering faith within himself to never give up on Effie, was nothing short of heart wrenching and you can’t help but cheer him on, anything less I would seriously question whether you were missing a beating heart – Shane had me cheering Lucian the whole time and he’d already stolen my heart – and likewise Stella with her portrayal of Effie.

Shane really did much of the heavy lifting in this book, and it demonstrates once again why he is a superstar and most sought after voice in audio –it truly is a masterclass in voice acting: not only does he portray the perfect Lucian, but his range is so impressive that he goes from portraying the brave, swoon-worthy, protector in Lucian, to the voice of the other 2 Guardians: Scottish Kael and Nord, as well as the haunting voices of the Triumvirate. His depth of talent is phenomenal, and this performance is exceptional.

Meg really did save all the best moments for last - I literally had to pause mid-way through because I was devouring this audiobook like a woman starved and ravenous and I wasn’t ready to leave this beautiful heart-piercing romantasy.

This happens every time I get to the end of a series by Meg Anne, she leaves me wanting more and that’s why I adore her and she continues to be my go-to for Fantasy-Romance – always excruciatingly beautiful: so beautiful it hurts, in the best way. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

ALC REVIEW

Keeper’s Vow was a beautiful ending to a Effie’s journey. After the massive cliffhanger and the end of Keeper’ Retribution, I was wondering how in the world Meg Anne would close out the story and I have to say she did not disappoint. In this book we get to spend a little more time with Lucian and see him fight to get Effie back. Although I missed Effie, I loved seeing his perspective and his character growth. It also made me as a reader fall just a little harder for the guardian who keeps a lot of secrets. In terms of story, all the breadcrumbs leading up to the big reveals in the book are paid off. I also particularly loved the cameos and the connections in this book. I started jumping up and down when I realized a character was connected to another character in Megs world (if you know you know).

Lucian’s character growth wasn’t the only one I loved in book. Effie’s came a long way. She was much more confident in herself, and it was almost as if she needed to shed the skin of her old life to begin anew. It was quite touching. I also really loved seeing a lighter Effie, one that had embraced feeling happiness and knowing she deserved it.

As for Kieran, here is the thing, Meg Anne did such a wonderful job pulling us through a journey with this character. At the start of the series, particularly in his prequel, it seemed like he was the one to root for, but as the series continued, so did he. It wasn’t a drastic 180 that gives whiplash but one that you see build, and given the ending of this book EVERYTHING with him clicks into place. Was I surprised, yes l, but at the same time I picked up on Meg’s hints along the way.

Stand outs
- The cameos, and the characters interaction with Effie
- THAT ENDING… wow way to wrap up a story but also lead into a new one. It should be criminal to write villains that good, we are NOT supposed to like them Meg Anne and yet somehow I do
- The speech that Lucian gives Effie when she becomes part of a certain thing that I don’t want to spoil. It definitely got me in my feels
- The major reveals, they were done so well!
- The spice. I know I didn’t talk about it above but damn that was NOICE

NARRATION

I could not imagine anyone playing Effie, Lucian and Kieran other than Stella Hunter, Shane East and James Joseph. This trio is amazing. They brought such depth to each of the main characters they portrayed that you really couldn’t help but feel sucked in. What I also loved about their narration was how they were able to bring the nuances in Meg’s writing with finesse and care. It made it feel like they took immense care in understanding the writing and the character development and arc. Also their chemistry, all three of them, was off the charts. It definitely felt like they played off of each other’s performances.

Some individual narration standouts:

Stella Hunter as usual brought Effie to life, and I am not just talking about the Effie we know. That other one gave me GOOSEBUMPS! Like if you are listening to this in the dark when Stella is the other Effie good luck trying to sleep without thinking someone will pop out of the darkness. Also flirty Effie….. I will say no more.

Shane East is one of those narrators, that you will need to be sure that your heart is healthy. The emotion he puts behind his performances, particularly those that involve heightened scenes (fighting, loosing someone etc) will make your heart beat a little faster. Lucian had a couple of those this time around and lets say my iwatch clocked the increase of heart rate. Not to mention when he lowers his voice.

Whose ever idea it was to put James Joseph as a villain, can I please have your P.O. Box? I would like to send you a box of a damn chocolates. Like I know there is something sinister about a character, but the way he delivers lines… I just forget it that this guy is a VILLAIN! Also those switches is accent cause whiplash, in a good way.

The Keepers Series has been an incredible ride and the conclusion in The Keeper’s Vow is no different! In fact, I think it’s even more suspenseful and magical. My jaw literally dropped a few times with revelations that I didn’t see coming and the twistiest turns that I could never have guessed. I loved Effie and Lucian and all of their comrades, even the Triumvirate dudes! I’m sad to see their journey come to an end but am also very glad that I’ve gotten to come along for their thrilling ride. I couldn’t be happier with the way that Effie’s life story and love story ended!

This was a fantastic listen with performances that were so perfect and engaging. Stella Hunter, Shane East and James Joseph are supremely talented and they bring each character to life with voices that are unique in both tone and accent. I often replayed scenes so that I could appreciate their talent once again before moving on to the next scene. I love the wonderful world that Meg Anne has created, the unique characters we find there and the incredible narrators that she has chosen to tell their stories.

This was actually a second read but I must have forgotten to review it the first time here.

Effie is amazing. She has come a long way from hiding behind her hair and speaking quietly. Finding her own voice looks great on her. Thank goodness her and Lucien officially get together now!

This is the culmination of Effie’s story and it did not disappoint. There was a lot of action, tender moments, worry, and joy in this final book. This is a world I choose to return to again and again since it is just so good! We got to see lots of old faces in here as well as continue to get to know Lucien and the guardians. Also, it might be crazy but, I feel just a teensy but bad for Kieran. Having read his prequel novella it gave me insight into his life before the Keepers. Anyways…. On to the next book and to read about Nord again.

Always in the thick of things

Effie through no fault of her own finds herself repeatedly in the midst of dire situations. Thankfully, this time she is not on her own. She has a new family now, one of her own choosing.

This cast of characters, while focused on a select few, brings the whole gang back together. Perilous times are upon them- more so than ever before. Treachery is at its peak here, beware.

Bonus- we can't forget the sexy times and the steam! And boy is there some sizzle!

So this is book 8 of the chosen series the keeper's valves the Alves this goes along with the keeper books You must read these in order. So if you have you know that this book follows Effie and how's Effie and how she gets saved. The Keeper’s Vow was such an addicting listen!! Wow!! While being all happy with my emotions the author decides to give me the ultimate gut punch! A very addicting listen and i have thoroughly enjoyed this ride with Kieran, Lucian, and Effie. The series is wrapped up but it leaves an opening for possibly more. I absolutely enjoyed this one!! The narrators, Stella Hunter, Shane East, and James Joseph are amazing story tellers! They truly bring the characters to life with their talented voices. I highly recommend this series!!

Secrets, traitors, and Vessels

There is a HUGE bomb that's dropped somewhat early in the story that will make you pause. While Effie' s story is mostly concluded there's still more to come. This was a good conclusion for her story. I also liked that Helena and her Circle also had a role in this part of the story.

Love Effie and Lucian!

I can’t get enough Effie and Lucian! I’m glad I’ll see them again in subsequent books. Although I loved this book, I thought the ending wasn’t as epic as I was expecting. I wanted more of a concrete ending but there is a lot left unresolved. At least I’ll get more of the Chosen and Keeper/Guardian characters I’ve grown to love in more upcoming books! :)

Interesting events

There were definitely some loose ends tied up. The storyline is compelling and I love the characters. A few things needed fleshing out in this book. I don't want to give any spoilers but the author jumped over many details in the ending. I found the book to be a little short so there was plenty of room to add more details

This whole series…. just wow

Normally I will only read trilogies because by the time I get through the second book it’s almost like geeeez what ELSE can happen. Not this series. I devoured the whole thing and have immediately downloaded the 1st of the series spin-off. I can’t wait to start the next adventure with this amazing cast of characters.

I liked how the story ended and how it smoothly transfers over to the next and final part of the series. I’m very excited to read Ronan’s story and see how he develops: Effie still isn’t my favorite character, but she grew on me a little. Lucian, I like because of the dedication that he has for her. The surprises in this book were crazy. I would probably recommend this to others, but it isn’t my favorite storyline.

It only happens once in a thousand lifetimes and he is being told it will not be stopped. He will not be stopped and he will do anything to conquer it all. What will he need to do? Can he do it? See if he can

The mystery and magic of this series will take you on a slow-burn rollercoaster, so strap in and don’t say you weren’t warned and encouraged to proceed immediately. Meg Anne pulls you along on a journey, and just when you think you know where you are going she flips you upside down with all of the thrilling twists and turns masterfully delivered by an author who loves to evoke strong emotions in readers! The series pulled me in deeper with every book, and Keeper’s Vow is everything I needed it to be. It gets all the stars for all the reasons in all the ways! My mind is blown by the revelations in this book! I can’t say why or how without spoiling it, but my head just exploded! All of the exciting action-packed scenes kept the pace of the story up. Just wow! I finished and then listened to the entire series to put all of the pieces together. This is already on my repeat listen list, and I’m sure I will listen again. Very exciting with a thrilling story that kept me engaged and surprised and frustrated and slow-burned to death with delicious precision.

Stunning performances in duet brought everything to life with vivid IN-YOUR-FACE awesomeness. Excellent casting, performances, editing of this duet masterpiece! Shane switches between multiple characters, and it flows like water - even with the same scene. James Joseph exploded on the scene recently and really brings depth to Kieran. He’s a definite favorite. I can’t possibly even count all of the reasons why Stella is at the top of my lists. Every book seems to get better. She does things with her voice in this series that seriously blew my mind. ALL THE STARS!!

Amazing

What an amazing trilogy. I could not put it down. Effie and Lucian are my favorite so far. I loved Helena and Von but damn Effie and Luncian are everything I never knew I needed to read about.
