Very densely written. Has to be, to cover such a big area. Various references to other books I’ve read. Intersects with Queer theory lots. Found myself thinking back to Modern Literary Theory from final year English. Pages dog-eared to mark things to investigate further. Start with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence near the end.

One of the best books I’ve read on the subject. Worth every penny, a must-read for anyone who is questioning their faith or wants to learn more about reconciling sexuality/gender identity and their faith

I think the book does a decent job of telling us why queer theologies are important, but doesn’t go into detailed analysis of those theologies themselves. But, the author does provide an abundance of other resources and books to check out.
