THIS HAD NO RIGHT TO BE THAT GOOD!!!
It was sweet, swoony, sassy, and sexy in all of the best ways! I always love a scarred hero with oodles of self-doubt and a caveman complex and I loved how she was just as scarred as he was. The connection between these two was off the charts and really had me feeling they could accomplish anything together.
One of the things that could have been better was the transitions. The first book in the Sassy Girls series also had this problem, where you would be thrown between scenes so quickly from one paragraph to another that you had no idea what happened.

I’ve been waiting for this story for some time and I am so excited that it is finally here! I really enjoyed it. I will say this first, if you have not read His Hellcat I would encourage you to read that first. Not only is it fantastic but there are a lot of spoilers in this book for that one.
Drake is out main man in this story, he is the definition of alpha with heart and I liked his personality. I loved his, ‘I’ve seen you, now your mine’ vibe and how his lady love reacted to that.
This is a safe read so nothing to worry about. The story is a bit slower then I liked but still had a great vibe to it. The balance between sweet and suspense was nice and there was some action. I think the fact that I have been waiting had me to excited to turn the pages, if not the characters themselves. I think the author did a great job in writing these characters and giving them their HEA! I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

3.5 stars. It's enjoyable reading. I wished the events were moving quicker and I would have given it 4 stars. Something got on my nerves though : the way people were reacting to the H scars seemed unbelievable to me. people usually show compassion and sympathy. Clueless teenagers may show the described reaction , surely not grown women , mothers and certainly not nurses! It's part of the nurse's training to deal with people with physical deformities or scars so it looked unprofessional and so unrealistic that they will call the H a beast. I received an ARC from the author in exchange for my honest review.

Emotional and gripping, this story had me hooked. Jocelyn is trying to get away from an abusive ex-boyfriend. Drake has his own demons to deal with!! This is the first book that I've read from this author and I honestly enjoyed it. The story just pulls the reader in and it will keep you turning the pages. Will Jocelyn be able to stay away from her ex? Will Drake be able to overcome his demons? All I can say is this story will have me looking up other books by this author! Just get the book!!!

Great Read
This book was off the charts, AMAZING! I love that the female lead stated strong, but showed the human side to her predicament. She showed strength, vulnerability, courage, and a huge heart. I enjoyed Drake's ability to live her and be there through her pain and healing. I could hardly put this book down, it was so good! I highly recommend this book!!

I wanted to stop ...
I contemplated adding this book to the DNF stack but the plot was interesting enough that I managed to skim my way to the finish.
The main female character was so annoying in her actions and narrative that I wanted to shake her.
After 2 books from this series/author, this is where I part company from any further reads.

Jocelyn and Drake
This was a better book than book #1 in the series.But...there were so many typos and missing words that the story was hard to understand at times.I really liked Drake and how he mellowed with Jocelyn's acceptance and ferocious defence of Drake.Good story,the plot was good.Just too many typos.

This story is absolutely beautiful. I read His Hellcat and couldn’t wait to read this. I love all of the characters and want more of them. Drake and Joselynn give you all the feels. I truly didn’t want it to end. The writing and flow of this book is done well. I absolutely recommend this book.

Wow
Another good story. Jos is definitely a firecracker even though it was later. Drake is a good strong man. Sad what happened to him but he got a good woman in Jos. Thank you for another wonderful story, I really enjoyed it.

This book was actually so amazing! I loved the first book of this series, but was not expecting this book to have so much more substance.
Drake and Joselyn’s story was absolutely precious.

Oh my!! Do not begin this amazing, emotionally gripping romance until you have cancelled all of your appointments because you will not want to put it down for even a minute!! Rory Reynolds weaves a chilling thriller with a sweet, enticing love story so that the reader is pulled from spine-chilling flashes to hot, passionate embraces.
From the first pages, the reader is immersed in the life-threatened flight of Angel Tate hiding as Andrea Cross from her abusive ex-fiancé who literally will love her to death. My first read of this surprisingly good author, it drew me in from the very first page! A fantastic gripping story that kept me turning those pages, I stayed up late to read this amazing storyline of the most wonderful main characters. So much suspense and intrigue with twist and turns that never stop, so a glass of wine was all I needed with this fast actioned read! Rory Reynolds did not disappoint and I hope to be reading more of her books in the future! Joselynn Brooks has been running for the past 3 years from the evil Frankie Rosetti a mob boss of the Rosetti crime family. She now works in the maternity unit of a hospital, she loves every baby as if they were her own! This is where she meets the icy, hostile, dangerous stranger, but will he be her downfall? She soon realises that Family is Everything to Drake and his twin sister Blake. Can Drake ever accept the constant rejections from Joselynn?

One gripping storyline and turbulent plot catapults this bad boy to a whole new level. Twixt and twined and put through the wringer fuses this piece of perfection bursting to life flawlessly. Speculation, drama, tension, intrigue and suspense set the tone for this nail-biting block buster. The characters personalities are authentic, genuine and realistic with depth and qualities that are well blended and balanced. I received an ARC copy of this book and what a wonderful read. It grabs you from beginning to end. Drake is scarred war veteran who meets Jocelyn a pediatric nurse when his sister has twin babies. Of course Jocelynn has secrets, shes hiding from an abusive ex who is the devil himself. Drake wants her tho and the way these two come together is great. She wants him to give his all but he's afraid with his scarred body he'll scare her off. She's afraid with a crazy ex she'll scare him off. Strong sexy characters coming together and defeating their demons is always an exciting read. And love the sexy scenes. This author is phenomenal, grabs you the first page and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Really good romantic suspense novel. Drake is a badly scarred army veteran looking after his newborn twin nieces while his twin sister recovers from their difficult birth. Joselyn is a nurse in the unit who is running away from a very abusive relationship with a powerful mafia boss. She is afraid of getting too close to anyone since her ex-fiance is stalking her and threatens her life. Great characters and realistic situations. This is the first book I've read by this author but won't be the last!

I got an ARC copy of this book and boy did I get a great read! Two scarred souls, one a gal hiding from her mobster ex-fiancé, the other a soldier working in security which visible and hidden scars. They meet in the nursery of the hospital where our heroine works and where he is caretaking his sister’s twins while she is in the ICU.
Lots of twists, turns and steam to keep any romantic suspense fan engaged. I will definitely be looking for more books by Ms. Reynolds. I am hooked!

The story is about two people whose past is marked by scars, internal and external. And how, because of those scars, they are sympathetic to one another and develop a relationship.
The book is really well written and the development of it and the characters is really good and entertaining to read.
The story was a page turner and I couldn’t put it down. I finished it in a day and would really recommend if you’re looking for a sweet, sometimes bitter-sweet and well rounded story.

Rory Reynolds has done it again! I loved His Firecracker so much I couldn’t put it down! It was sweet, sexy and it kept me on my toes! I loved Joselynn and Drake and I loved their story! Another hit Rory I definitely can’t wait to read more! Ps. Can I please have a drake of my own???

This book is fantastic! It had a great storyline and awesome characters! Drake is an alpha man and he found his woman in Joselynn and is not going to let her go! His Firecracker has drama, suspense, danger, twists and turns that keep you reading to find out what happens next! I loved it! I couldn’t put it down! I can’t wait to read more of Rory’s books!

Great Read
His Firecracker is a great read by Rory Reynolds. It’s hard not to fall in love with Joselynn and Drake as you go through their relationship from start to finish. When Joselynn and Drake finally get together it is hot like only Rory Reynolds can do. I highly recommend this story.

I enjoyed this story though I was frustrated with Joselynn's misguided attempts to keep Drake safe. He is ex-military and works in protection!

I absolutely loved Drake and Jocelyn together, they had so much chemistry it was so freaking good!! And the story itself was amazing.
