Born making stuff up and writing it down since the age of eleven. I now am the owner of a natural proclivity towards novella length stories, the occasional short novel, and essays. Some of my stories are gritty and contain language and scenarios from the darker side of life.
I believe it is the job of the fiction writer to narrate the complexity of the human heart.
I have already published two books and two more are in the works. Though each story is very different, they nestle well beside each other in compilations.
Billy's First Ride is my first published short fiction, the tale of a reluctant bank robber and his siren nemesis. Country of Unknown Origin is a collection of short fiction ranging in topic from ill fated birthday cakes, ill fated lottery winners, to the grit of New York City in the 70's and post war Vietnam.
I live in Portland, OR with my family and love the rainy writer's season! I live a few hours away from the stormy North Oregon coast... where stories are born.
