Tons of fun! The expansion of the world of Karac Tor in the Highland people, the development of powers, and the entire half with Reggie was thoroughly enjoyable. Classic Christian YA fantasy elements blended into a fresh mix of legends, historical fiction and time/interdimensional travel. Reminded me of Stephen R Lawhead's Bright Empires series.

I found this book not an equal to the first three... maybe it was the filler we needed to have to get to next book... I was a little disappointed and that showed in the length of time to read it...
