This was a short quick read that I was confused about the blurb for this book says something else on Amazon. This book was also confusing with the grammar at one point I thought it was an historical but the heroine has a cell phone. Elliots father married Sara's mother when she was 10. She always thought that he hated her she disliked that he mother moved them. Turns out he has a secret Sara is Elliots fated mate and that he is a horse shifters which was not explained well. There was a lot of things left out or not explained. This was my first time reading this author.

Way too short
So the book starts with the main short story and it was way too short. This could have been a longer story because it has so much potential with the plot and the details. Felt the main Characters had alot of potential.

I enjoyed this short steamy romance of Sara and Elliot.
Sara mother remarried so now she has a new father and stepbrother. She and the stepbrother are throwing a anniversary party for their parents. But her step brother has not come to help so she now mad at him for this. During the party she sikh him out to ask him why but all of a sudden a friend of his show up. So she follows him and his friend in to the house were they are arguing and fighting about her. When she see him later he is hurt and surprised things are about to be revealed.
It was a nice short steamy paranormal type of book that had me interested to the end. There is also little bit of a mystery to the story that had me trying to guess.
I got this book through KU. This is my honest unbiased opinion.

Sara always felt left out of family funtions when her mother remarried. Her stepbrother Elliott infuriated her, with how he can charm the socks almost off of everyone except her. Then the strange colt that she would see on and off again. Then the dreams started. Erotic steamy hot dreams what did they mean? And why now all of a sudden her stepbrother was perhaps showing interest in her.... what is he hiding when talking with creepy friend.

In the edition I picked up of this ebook, the story was just under 60% of the page count, providing a quick, interesting, done in one read.
Note the Paranormal category, as this May start out feeling like a familiar step brother storyline, but somewhere along the line things take a turn from family dynamics straight into magical and... interesting.
And Sara discovers who Elliot is at heart, where it truly counts, when she looks back on the past from a new perspective.

I love paranormals the relationship between Sara and Elliot her stepbrother hot !!! For awhile their i thought he was going to be just another jerk like her college boyfriend was but then he told her how he felt and they fell head over heels For each other Dark Stallion great story !! Celia I love stories like that that keep me captivated !!!!

Very short and rushed story line, I liked the characters and the concept but still cannot get over how rushed the story was
