The fight is almost over. And Giselle is sure where she stands...
When Hades takes charge of Cursed Academy, Giselle and her friends are more desperate than ever to transfer to Olympian Academy. But the Lord of the Underworld seems determined to keep Giselle on campus...and heading down a path of darkness.
But there may be a way out. As Giselle's brand that binds her to Cursed Academy begins to fade in the absence of Prometheus, she and Ronin hatch a plan for her to escape at last.
But Hades is determined not to let that happen. And Giselle has months before she can join the lighter gods and control her fate...
Holly Hook is the author of the Destroyers Series, which consists of five young adult books about teens who are walking disasters...literally. She is also the author of the Rita Morse series, a young adult fantasy series still in progress, and After These Messages, a short ya comedy. Currently she is writing Twisted, a spin-off of the Destroyers Series due out in December. When not writing, she enjoys reading books for teens, especially ya fantasy and paranormal series with a unique twist.
Cursed academy year 3 and a half is another great book in this serie.
Hades is now in charge of Cursed Academy and Giselle and her friends are getting deseparate to be transfer to Olympians academy. But Hades doesn't want Giselle to go.
Since Prometheus is gone the brands that bind Giselle to cursed academy begin to fade so there might be a chance for her to escape. But the wait is long for the mark to be totally gone and Zeus as to brand her before Hades...
Thanks to Holly Hook for letting me have an arc of this book. Can't wait for the next one.
The motivations behind the heads of both academy’s are still unclear with the main character caught in the middle. Hard choices need to be made, calling for great sacrifices.I am still in the dark as to how everything will work out and love that I still can’t guess! Onto senior year! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
Giselle is closer to maturing and darkness than ever. Will she get to Olympian in time? She does not want to turn to darkness, she wants to be a good goddess, but will she have a chance to do so?
Hades has always been my favorite Greek god. It's not nice how he is portrayed in this book. Well, this was a good ending but I really feel like only one book was needed for this year. And maybe a trilogy would have been enough, tool. Well, almost done!
Long build up to this point in the series but it was fun to speculate about what was happening. There were some fun “I knew it!” Moments too. While it has a good ending moment for the book, it has a cliffhanger like feel that makes you need to start the next book so you know how it all ends.
The situation has never been more dire for Giselle and her friends!
This book picks up right after the end of Year Three. After the introduction of the new principal for Cursed Academy, it has never been so urgent for Giselle and her friends to find a way to Olympian Academy. In this book some answers are finally answered and after an epic finale I can’t wait to see the aftermath of what went down at the end of this instalment.
Was not expecting that ending at all! So many new twists and lots of story progression. I need to know what comes next!
Giselle finally has things going the way she wants... for the most part. Having Hades around wasn't part of the plan but with Ronin and her friends by her side, nothing can stop her from going Light--or will her inner darkness take control no matter what?
like any Holly Hook book she throws in a twist from out of nowhere. Hades has control pf Cursed Academy and Giselle and friends need to get to Olympian Academy ASAP. Can they transfer before every thing goes to darkness. Giselle, Ronin Maria and Mikey are just awesome characters and that cliffhanger was just exciting also. I cant wait for year 4.
Cursed Academy (Year Three and a Half) by Holly Hook is a wonderful story to read. I can not wait to read the next book in this wonderful series and I highly recommend this one to all.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
