Sapphire is great
I love how quirky Sapphire is. She brings so much humor to the story. Anders and her both falling down the stairs was great. Best line I think is when Sapphire says "I meant to say that in my head, but my mouth best my brain to it." The editing really needs work. Reading a book with so many mistakes just really takes away from the story. Overall the story is good but it would be better if time would be taken to correct the mistakes.

Protestors were gathered in the streets outside of the White House as Sapphire White tried to make her way to the front gate. Michael Adair shoved past her, knocking her to the ground, causing her skirt to rip and some of her beaded necklaces to break, as well as covering her in mud. He whipped out his checkbook and dispassionately asked how much to pay for the broken necklace, totally uncaring that he put her in danger of being trampled in the crowd. Her friend Brock pulled her away before she punched the guy.
Six years later, Sapphire woke in a clinic in Haden Springs, Wyoming. She had experienced a serious accident and had been a year and 4 months in a coma. She had seen something important, but can’t remember what. Brock was called away to the fire station. Then Dr. Anders McKinney came into the room. The doctor had immediately attracted her, but then started to avoid her. As she laid down again and slept, she found herself in a forest and fire surrounded her. She woke with a start and strong, familiar arms gently came around her, a voice whispering for her to sleep.
When Jenny was an hour late picking her up from the clinic, Sapphire feels like everyone has moved on without her and she only feels calm with Anders. When she got home, her cats had been fed and watered, their litterboxes cleaned, but no trace of who had been there and cared for them. Another memory struck her of flames and a bear that carried her on its back to safety. Then it changed into a man! Where had that thought come from? And sadly, the hunters are not finished with them yet!

This could put her at the mercy of the hunters if they have identified her as a threat to them. Anders is keeping his distance because he can’t trust himself after the horrible experiments that were done to him. He fears he will lose control of his bear and harm the woman he cares about. In this book we meet Sapphire White and Anders McKinney. Sapphire has always been accident proned. She can be walking on a flat surface and trip over her own feet. So when she wakes up after being in a coma for over a year she doesn't know what to think but she knows something is missing. Years earlier she had met Michael and didn't have a good run in with him. So finding out he owns the company of the dating service she signed up with bugs her more than she can say. When she finds she is paired up with the one man who drives her nuts and makes her not want to go to the doctor makes it even worse. There is something about Anders though that makes her want to dig deeper. Anders can't stop thinking about the one woman he knows he shouldn't be. There is something about her thought that has him wanting just to be near her. He knows though that getting close to him is the worse things for her. Will these two be able to let go of the past and find a HEA or are the hunters willing to go to any lengths to make sure this never happens?
This is the second book in this series. They can each be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading them in order so there are no spoilers given away. Brilliant read
Loved this book about Sapphire that has waken up from her coma of 16 months she remembers part of what happened but not all of it at the beginning. Anders a bear shifter knew when Sapphire was in trouble with the fire he could sense it through out her coma he looked after her cats and stayed with her in the hospital sometimes they have never got on Sapphire is accident prone she can’t even walk down a straight pavement without something happening to her and Dr Anders thought she was doing it to see him. He couldn’t understand the protectiveness he now felt with her. The hunters are still a problem as they never went away just needed time to heal their wounds now they are setting the next plans in place for capturing the bears. Sapphire and Anders go on a date but Anders runs off at the end. They have an up and down time with their relationship Sapphire tells Anders she loves him but he never said it back. Sapphire puts her self in danger to see what the hunters are up to by getting close to them. Things don’t go to plan Brock best friend of Sapphires gets taken Dorian gets shot and Michael stabbed they need to regroup plan to rescue Brock. Fc the next book is about Brock and his story of him being taken and is there love for him

Sapphire has been in a coma for over a year and now she is awake and sees that everyone has moved on around her. This upsets her but she tries to be understanding. She doesn't remember what happened to her but knows that her clumsiness is mostly what contributed to her fall. Anders is the doctor that thinks Sapphire deliberately finds things to come to his clinic for treatment just to see him. However he quickly learns its the opposite. He is drawn to her and knows that she's his mate. When he finds out via the match making site that she's matched to him its like fate is confirming it too. They both go slowly with their relationship but when someone breaks into her home and tells her that Anders is a murderer she knows that she has to step up to help them with the troubles they are dealing with. Will Anders let his mate put herself in danger to help his people? Can he see they belong together?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Trust your gut! Never drop your guard. When she was younger, Sapphire White got a reputation for trouble. Years past and one day, after a year in a coma, she wakes up with a fractured memory. Dr Anders McKinney, is on her case and is instantly attracted to her. Sapphire who is normally clumsy remembers much of her accident, but she also knows that she saw something that was important. Brock, her best friend, and also Michael's brother. Michael Adair, who was Sapphire's nemisis for years is starting the Kodiac Dating Agency and asks Anders for help. Ends up, Anders and Sapphire are matched. They both have reasons not to like the match. But they also have reasons to absolutely enjoy the match. There is a mystery of what happened to Sapphire, why a stranger is spreading negative news of Anders, what is going on in their lives. Good story. Intriguing, romantic, adventurous. Ms. Weir has done an excellent job creating nice characters who draw you into their stories and their environment. I want more. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Anders' Allure by Haley Weir is the second book in the Kodiak Dating Agency series. I read the first book (Dorian's Reward) and was hooked. This action packed series has an underlying storyline that flows easily from the first book to the second. I thought Anders and Sapphire were well written and evoked some pretty strong emotions. I love that Haley Weir makes you feel like you're witnessing these stories unfold. I could smell the smoke and feel the rain. There is a set up for the next book in the series... I can't wait! Fun, addictive and highly recommended! This is a Mature Readers Only read.

These two have history he is totally unimpressed by her childish ways but when she falls into a coma after been injured his bear realises that she is his mate. She has laid in that coma for sixteen months but now that she has awoken she knows that there is something important that she has to remember. She keeps having flashbacks of a fire and a bear that carried her to safety and then changed into a man which is a preposterous idea. Why does she feel as if everyone has moved on with their lives and why is Dr Ander McKinney the only one that makes her feel safe. What will she do when she finds out his secret and the hunters are getting ever closer.

I liked the idea of the story, but still felt that this book was rushed like the first one. We start out with Sapphire waking up from her coma after losing a year of her life. Anders still insults her in the beginning, because of his friendship with Michael. Corey is still trying to capture the guys. Kodiak Dating Agency has finally found a match for both of them. What will happen when they find out its matched them? What will happen with all of Sapphire's friends that keep out the truth? What will happen when Corey comes after them again? Who will get hurt this time? What will happen when Sapphire finds out the truth about Anders? Can Anders ever accept his feelings for Sapphire?

A great story full of fun quips, an ultra sassy heroine , a broody moody gruff hero and loads of action in the woods as well as the bedroom.. I found it a little confusing at the start till I realised I had missed the earlier book(s?) ( so now I am off to read those and hope they are as good as this one ) Even without the prior knowledge that makes the start make more sense this is a great story and the series is not finished yet so enjoy this one knowing that there are more to come

This is the 2nd book in the Kodiak Dating Series and is all about Sapphire and Ander’s. Sapphire is crazy and always getting into predicaments and getting hurt. So nothing surprises Dr. McKinney (Ander’s) that she gets into a situation and then goes into a coma. He doesn’t want any part of her until she doesn’t wake up and his bear realizes she may be his mate and has feelings to protect her. I had read the 1st book in the series and just like that one I couldn’t put this book down. Can’t wait for another adventure.

This carries in from where the previous book left off, meaning it'd be best to read that one first to get context. That being said, this is still a good tale. There is drama, action and romance and Anders and Sapphire are are good mix in the scheme of the whole. The whole context of this tale follows on from the first and to all appearances it will continue into the next.
Each of our couples is flawed in themselves and Anders and Sapphire are no exception. They need to resolve their differences while dealing with everything else too.

Anders has been taking care of Sapphire since she’s been in a coma. She’s the nemesis of his best friend and he knows he shouldn’t be so drawn to her. However, when she wakens, Sapphire feels everyone has gone on with life and she cannot really find her place anymore except with Anders. There are secrets between them and the Hunter threat creates a danger they may not survive. I enjoyed the maturing of their characters and the romance they shared. Anders’ Allure was an exciting novel I recommend.

I don't know Anders is a big ass. The way he treated Sapphire is not right. Now she is something else. I like her. She stands up for herself and her friends. She can take care of herself. The story is not bad at all but I agree with Michael something is off with Brock. Plus Corey is not sane, something is twisted in him. I hope to all goodness that they can figure it all out in the next book. I look forward to it. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.

Great story. These story has many twists. The characters feel they have to rely on lies because of something another character said on did. The Doc is a master at the blame game. The story comes to a HEA, but the epilogue leaves us with a WTH. There really isn't any world building, but I don't think it takes away from the story. The heroine of the story had a rough childhood, her adult life isn't all peaches, yet she remains optimistic, she is a wonderful character. The story needs a little editing, but has an entertaining plot and storyline.

When Sapphire wakes up after a year in a coma she sees Anders. Anders is a bear shifter as well as a Doctor. Anders and Sapphire have great chemistry and their story is filled with action, drama, danger, humor and a great shifter romance. Anders' Allure is book two and a great addition to the Kodiak Dating Agency series. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I enjoyed reading this book, it has a great storyline. There is lots of action, intrigue and the chemistry and interaction between the characters Sapphire and Anders is great. The second book in the Kodiak Dating Agency series a well written story that held my interest throughout. Sapphire White has lost over a year year of her life by being in a coma, Doctor Anders McKinney is one of the Doctors at the hospital. I liked seeing their story come together. Second book just as great. Enemies Anders and Sapphire has a love hate relationship. He saves her from their enemies, and starts the mate bonding. Together they have to overcome a lot of problems to get their happy ever after. Five stars from me.

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It was a great with having characters that are well developed and engaging and have plenty of chemistry. The flow of the storyline was steady and smooth.
