I found this collection on Amazon via BookBub; this is my honest review.
Trigger warning: There are details and talk about rape all through the collection. It's vivid, it's real.
I had previously bought a few books out of the series and got hooked but they sort of have a cliffhanger after each so you really want to read them all one after the other. That said, this anthology won't give you the pleasure of reading completed stories. Even the title is misleading. This does not include only Kagan shifters; it's all mixed-up and the author is all over the place: singles, royals, humans, felines, wolves, etc. You get so many unanswered questions, it's a deception to my mind. No way will I search more books. I'm done. These stories should have been in order and if you want to talk about a certain couple or person, finish it! Where are Zoe and Kade? Or Rick's story? Where is Gabriel? When will Zach finally mate Ella properly? What about Eli and his TM?
This is a published work and as such the editing should have been impeccable; it wasn't and it was getting on my nerves: missing words or verbs, wrong names, wrong nouns, wrong animal, etc. There are also many, many repeats. I KNOW this and that, just stop telling me please! Conflicting information all over the place too. The word "metaphysical" was there so many times I was crying every time I saw it; "locked her/his knees" was the author's favorite expression.
1. I thought Jazz was playing stupid games when she talked about the prom, Josh, pictures, and s*x. It's too bad she didn't meet Rafe's other two felines. Jon told Jazz that "you took two of my kids". Who are the other ones and where are they?
2. I'm very happy Devlin finally found peace with his felines. I just didn't like Lena.
3. The problem with prophecies is that they are interpreted subjectively and people are usually wrong. This story is a good example of that.
4. Lust at first sight. Fast and furious story.
5. I thought being true mates would make all the intricacies of mating possible. Not in this case and it's a pity, even with a human, magic could have done better than this story.
6. I loved Hannah from the previous story; her story just felt flat. "No. Noah wanted to go against nature. Share her. A crazed laugh escaped Ethan." Being gay is against nature; how ironic.
7. I didn't understand why Gwen would be pissed off at Vlad for sleeping around when Xander did the exact same thing. Here again visions were misinterpreted.
8. Nyx comes as fluffy and her story is cheesy. She only wants power, likes having the attention on her and is immature; I didn't see the love at all. Where is the author going with "The details made Nyx appear real. The thought struck him as off."? Don't worry, mate, you will never know.

For me a good book has memorable characters, decent plot, doesn’t drown in sex scenes (unless it is going to help the character along in some capacity), world building you never want to leave, and you can put it down and pick it up and still remember everything about the book.
Unfortunately, none of this was in the book for me. I wanted more substance instead of this whole oh we had sex now let’s have more sex and oh look we were apart from an hour let’s have more sex. There was a plot trying really hard to peek through, but it got lost in the whole concept of I must have sex with my mate. Honestly, I was bored reading it because it was the same thing over and over again with character names coming out of left field with no introductions, but you are supposed to know who they are even though this is the first time you’ve ever met them.
If you’re into shifter books or don’t care about plot, characters, or anything that makes a book than feel free to read these books and if you understand any of what happened in the book, feel free to clue me in.

Well, I got through it.
Sorry, I won't be reviewing each book individually. I also have to mention that I was easily able to keep putting this down, and after picking it back up, had a hard time remembering people and places. There were two menages, one was good and although the sex was steamy, the emotional connection between the people in the second one wasn't really there. This set jumped from the feline stories to the wolf stories, then back again at the end which made following it difficult. There were secondary characters that I wanted and thought needed their own stories at the time but frankly I can't remember who they were at this point. There were unanswered questions too. Again can't remember what they are. And I believe the real villain throughout this volume was their own Shifter Council and the power going to their heads. Like I said in the title, "I got through it." Left me totally confused. Read at your own risk. Good luck.

An enjoyable mix of different shifters and their love, with some good world building too.
I kept reading in some cases more because I was more interested in the world and some if the background characters than I was in the relationship the book was about.
Some interesting twists and turns that kept me reading too, as I get easily distracted if it's too obvious how the characters are going to get to the end (which is why I skipped the 'blurb' pages for each book).
Most or the sex scenes were part of the flow of the story rather than just being there for the sake of it, although some in the earlier books walked slightly too close to the consensual/non consensual line for my complete comfort.

Awesome stories-all books!
All the books in this Shifter-World bundle which contains the whole series (minus the continuing related series Shifter-Affairs [haven't read this yet]) by Nancy Corrigan are very, very good. Each story has an happy ending however all the books share continuous shared storylines about other secondary characters, some which get their own book. Each book has great momentum, is written very well, it's edited great, has explicit sexy scenes. All characters are extremely well developed. As a reader you find the "shifter world" realistic and so very enjoyable is a must read without interruptions! 😍

1st 8 books in series
This is a shifter series that is best read in order, so it was handy they were is a set. This was a new author for me. Good world building, complex characters, fated mates (but with the twist of not being SURE if they are your fated mate until it may be too late). Sex scenes on the more graphic side of typical shifter romance. Few of the middle books were a bit more sexually explicit than expected, with some menage relationships. Stories interwoven, and series not resolved in this 8th book, but didn't leave you on a cliffhanger. I'm interested enough I will look out for the rest.

Amazing suspense! A must read if you are into the suspense/fantasy/romance books. The character chemisty is off the charts and it isn't one on those meet cute moments and live happily ever after relationship. These romance stories have a push and pull, give and take, cat and mouse, high and low moments that increases the suspense. Also, outside of the romance their is also evil lurking trying to take it all away which is like a thriller in itself. It keeps you thinking and trying to figure out the mystery along the way.

Talk about a book hangover! It takes a while to read the WHOLE boxset! But I did it!!
(And I'm heading for Rick's story next!) Great reading, fantastic characters - each storyline is unique and HEAs happen WITHOUT cliffhangers! If you're a fan of the paranormal genre put this one on your TBR list! It WILL NOT disappoint! Thank you for your time, talent and THE STORIES!

Brilliant and exciting with mystery and romance with lots of suspense This is one series you won't want to put down and will want to read again and again. Each story is complete in itself but linked so show progression in a world with its own rules and regulations that also have to link with often suspicious humans and untrustworthy governments of both sides. If you like paranormal stories then this is one series you really shouldn't miss

Claiming their true mates
What a delightful series of books and would highly recommend these books to all readers who enjoy great romantic shifter stories. Nancy has written a wonderful set of books and though they can be read separately beginning from book one will create a better understanding of this world.

Wow this collection gave views of many generations of wolf, bear, feline shifter groups from single to multiple entities that found and bonded to true mates. Struggles with tragic and chaotic pasts made great characters and passionate stories that blended the help one group could give to another. Loved this read.

Romance and mystery
I read these books Entirely as a series. Admittedly there were some that I like better than others the story of josh and mirror we'rew was my favorite. I did have a difficult time with the men's chauvinistic attitude in the Prides and packs. However the happy endings of the stories were fantastic.

Astounding!!
One of the best shifter series that I have read, and that is quite a few!! It is well written. It’s a page turner. It’s one series that is difficult to put down. The only drawback is what happens to the shifters mentioned without their mate. I hope for a follow up novel(s) to see their claim!!!

Couldn't finish. Got to Mira &Josh's and had to stop. Waaayyy too alpha to the point where the men are just assholes. The shifter culture here is so anti-female it's an embarrassment to read. Way too much sex to the point where its meaningless. Too much mention of rape and torture. Sorry I picked this up.

Determination and revoting

Royal- Shifters
Mostly I enjoyed these stories but too much shades of grey dominance in these testosterone fuelled males. Once I bypassed the submission scenes I enjoyed the female bonding.

These are good books but...
I love the characters and stories. I'm just disappointed that Kade and Zoe's story did not follow after Mia's story. And I can't find their story. So, this has ruined my trek through these books for me.

A must read!
I am amazed at the worlds in this book. I couldn't put it down. It is a must read very believable book. I fell in love from start to finish. Hope to see some of the unwritten stories that where implied but not explored.

Loved this bunch of shifters
Each one of these stories was told with amazing details and great heart. I loved each character and fell in love right beside them. Enough action to hook you and the heat was burning up the pages.

an interesting shifter world with new concepts around the culture
These books have some new cultural twists, with more than one animal in a shifter, immortality and tensions between single and multiple animal owners.
Explicit sex scenes are a bit overdone, but easy to skim over

Captivating
I loved all the books, the stories flowed from one to the other. Thrilling, dangers, heroes and heroines, finding love and fighting to keep it. Doing the right thing even with the "ifs" that surround them. Great reads....highly recommended.

Good series.
