“Time Bomb” is a good book. Mark Adler does make a good case when he talks about the dangers of an ageing population.

There are implications for governments who will have to rethink their social and public health programmes.

Much of the book focuses on the rich world because this is where the problem seems to be acute.

A question that he did not answer is the implication for a developing country, with inadequate infrastructure. How would such countries cope? The prospects for such a nation would be terrifying.
