One of the easiest 5 stars, this is a collection of cover art done by Lucio Parrillo for Dynamite Comics on their various series. The characters cover Sexy Babes, Buff Dudes, Dangerous Beasts, Murderous Monsters, Zombies and More. This is one title that is similar to a poetry collection meaning that it's impossible to read them in one go and say that it's done. You can always go back to a favorite poem and discover a new meaning among the lines. Here you can always go back to any of the gorgeous cover art and zoom in the the various details and you can spend hours in that pursuit I was happy to enjoy the art and now I shall go to another collection of art and then one more and another book and I shall Keep on Reading.

I have always loved comics, and I can and I have. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more. You should also read what you love, and I hope you will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to Keep on Reading.

This photorealistic, classic age image gallery is gorgeous. Sexy and bloody fantasy at its best. If you're squeamish, then it might not be for you. A few images are a tad more explicit with boob-grabbing, so I would rate the comic nsfw. Mostly it's just decapitations. We're all used to that, right? Several characters are featured - blood-soaked Vampirella, sword-wielding Red Sonja, woman in distress Dejah Thoris, what seems to be vine-swinging Tarzan, swashbuckling pirates, pus-filled zombies, ever-smiling Evil Ernie.

Hm, so yeah, Parillo is one of the really good ones out there. Still, there are a few covers in here that are very much alike. Also it's "just" covers so no five stars.

I have always enjoyed the cover work of Boris Vallejo and Frank Fazetta. When I first came across Lucio Parrillo's art I immediately ranked him in the same category, the highest of the highest. The paintings he has made are simply amazing. At first I though that it was largely computer-based, but nothing is further from the truth: he is simply an amazing painter!! If you feel like seeing him in live action, google some youtube videos, or follow him on Instagram. This book gives a fantastic insight into his enormous talent. Of course, the leading ladies being Vampirella, Dejah Thoris and Red Sonja definitely helps to make this book a must have.

The lovely book to browse through while watching a boring hockey game! 200 pages of wicked art! I never keep up with the vast amounts of comics that come out featuring Red Sonja or Vampirella, so this does me some sweet justice.
