On the verge of being homeless with her chronically ill mother, a young woman reluctantly agrees to care for a mad woman locked away in an upstairs room of a gloomy castle. When she falls in love with the woman's son, she must decide whether to continue deceiving him or begin their married life free of secrets and lies. Once she becomes entangled in this strange family, she realizes that she’s not the only one hiding things. And the mad woman upstairs might be the least of the horrors that lie in her wait.

The Possesion of Juliet is the last in this brilliant Thornehaven series. I couldn't guess how this book would end and only found out on the very last page.
Like every book in this series you never know where the story will take you, but it's a guarantee you'll be completely entertained throughout. This author brings her characters to life with bits of humor and human vulnerabilities that enrich her stories.
Her writing has made me laugh at times and even brought tears to my eyes with unforgettable and haunting endings. I highly recommend this series which I will be rereading. I follow this author closely and will be eagerly awaiting her next book.
