The same stuff people in this industry have been spewing for decades...there is nothing new under the sun...
So this was how I felt in a moment of stress, self-pity, and utter anger at systems I had no control over.
My reason for writing this review in this way... it's very easy to have all the resources you need and ignore them in favour of those same attitudes and behaviours that keep you where you are.
I used to feel this way for weeks, months, years on end until I realised my life is exactly how I've created it, for better or worse.
I've spent the last decade of my life learning these principles, have multiple psychology degrees, have worked in health and social care for 20+ years, and this book combines and sums up all that info.
If you really want to change your life...buy the book, do the thing, push past your conditioning, and believe there is another way to live ❤️
The book has nothing to do with manifestation or anything that can be done within 3 minutes. Whatever has been written in the book is general knowledge easily available for free. Don't waste your money on this book at all.
This book is extremely superficial an fluffy. It promises a lot, but you just never get to it. When I read it I was thinking all the time "well that's very cute, but when will there be something I can actually use for something?" I don't think that what she says is actually wrong (therefore the two stars instead of one). I just don't think that you can use any advice for anything if it doesn't come with any practical or day-to-day action examples, which there are very few of and they are not very specific. She says that she have build a multi million dollar company, but does not tell any personal anecdotes of how she did it. I think that you are taking a personal distance from the reader if you're not willing to share some personal experiences. Not very trustworthy.
Also I really don't get the title. In the intro she explains how she will only ask for three minutes of your day to make a change. Then you expect the book to be divided into small pieces of text with exercises which can be made in three minutes. This is not the case. It is written in long chapters with no natural breaks, so nothing special there as it claims in the intro. All and all a very anti climatic book compared to what it promises. P.S. English is not my first language, so sorry if some of the sentences does not make perfect sense.
This book has been accused of stitching together random pieces of wisdom from here and there in an attempt to cash in on naive readers. Frankly, I find that preposterous. The methods discussed in this book actually help, but you have to follow them. Regan Hillyer shows you the path, but you have to walk it yourself. Yes, it’s another self-help book, but it’s a pretty good one. However, the methods she presents are not revolutionary. In fact, I knew them all from before, and I have been practising some of them off and on for years. I know they work.
Does this mean I didn’t need to read this book? Did I waste my money? Not at all! I am grateful to the writer for reminding me who I am and what I am capable of. I have already started practising the most fundamental steps again, and I will continue doing so, slowly but surely sculpting my ideal life.
By the way, the Kindle edition is 208 pages, not 131.
I found this book at a local Little Library and decided to give it a try. I’ve got to say, the book felt very basic, almost like an introduction to personal development. There wasn’t really anything profound or groundbreaking in it. Thinking back, nothing truly stood out. What I did enjoy was how easy it was to read. I appreciated how the author broke up the sentence structure, it made the content more digestible. Personally, I think personal development books should be structured more like the Bible, in verses. For example, if I say John 3:16, almost everyone knows what that is. But if I said page 126 in Think and Grow Rich, it wouldn’t ring a bell. When key ideas are broken into clear, repeatable segments, they’re more likely to sink into the subconscious over time.
Just a long essay based on some influential qualities from others. It’s good and inspiring but really not worth the money. This should be free content…it’s really no creativity or a different, interesting way to tell a story of inspiration. She is not even sharing anything from her own journey. Don’t buy, there are real good inspiring book out there. Sorry.
Got it for content on manifestation. Did not find it here really. Good one on life in general. Nothing most of us dont know already. But thank you for writing.
