Harley thought a little trip to Los Angeles would help her cope with grief, but grief followed her all the way to the West Coast. When a new friend of hers dies, she knows in her heart there is foul play at work. She'll have to put down her mallet and pick up a magnifying glass to prove her friend was murdered. And will Booster Gold help her investigation or only hinder it?
Of course they're fascists. Of course, Harley doesn't notice he said "heirs" plural. Of course she thinks Booster saying something utterly normal all of her friends would have said is "cute". Of course we're pretending she's got no one to share all of this with, it's not like this series has one of the biggest wtf-esque cast ever. I should never have taken a break from this series, reading them all at once really highlights how little care goes into the plot tbh
Love the zany dialog especially from Harley and yes the story has become more than recurring in one form or another I still like how Humpries lets follow along with Harley on the mystery surrounding Alicias suicide. I’m in engaged enough that I will definitely be adding all future issues to my pull list
