The crew is back in the finale of Rotten Apples. The girls are thick as thieves but like they say, there's no honor amongst thieves.
Marley is still fighting to get her kids back, but remains her own worst enemy. She'll have to grow up in a hurry if she's going to convince a judge to send them home with her.
Yasmeen's drive will either rescue or ruin her and everyone around her. She puts the crew on her back and leads the way even though she lost her own way.
Jellissa invested in herself, but would it work? Would it change her if it did or destroy her if it doesn't? Will her mother ever forgive her or is their relationship gone for good?
Mitzi is still trying to take care of her siblings while her mother slides further into the abyss of abuse.
The clock is ticking on getting Rosa back in one piece. They know the only way out of the hood is to hit a few more licks. Each does her part but one enjoys busting her gun a little more than the others and the bodies begin to pile up. All those bodies draw more heat than the girls can handle. If they all stand strong, they can survive. If not, they all crash and burn.
After all, it only takes One Bad Apple to spoil the bunch.
A great series that ended with a bang. The author does a great job with this ending. All the ladies finally grew up and found peace and happiness. Karma came to visit a few people and they definitely deserved it.
The series ended totally different from what I thought, now E'everybody got a very much a happily ever after....after all. Yasmeen, Mitzi, Marley, Jellissa, and even Javier came out on top💯🔥💯 GREAT READ 🔥💯🔥
It was hard to stop reading! Each page of the series was a page turner. Great plot and character development. Good to see beauty, brains, and goals throughout the series.
These girls took what they could from the environment they were raised in and ran with it. Mitzi was heartbroken over what happened to her little sister Rosa and set out to get revenge. Her mother was a lost cause once Pablo came back into the picture and Mitzi realized she had to do what she had to do to take care of her other brother's and sister's. Jelissa changed her whole appearance and slowed down on her hoing. Marley realized seeing her children in a different environment than they were raised in. She had to step her parenting skills up and get her life right if she planned to get them back. Yasmeen had a plan to get them out of the hood but the way they were dropping bodies. They were lucky if they escaped a jail cell but Yasmeen was more slicker than I gave her credit for. Dolce was so consumed with being entitled that she didn't know she was Yasmeen meal ticket.
I love hood stories but this one annoyed the hell out off me. The author just kept repeating himself and almost made me not finish but the story line was too good. The many grammatical mistakes and missing out misused words got frustrating street while but if the book was proofread he needs a new publisher and he would be a great story teller.
I know this is the last in the set of apples. I enjoyed it though I'm glad the girls got there happy endings. Sometimes people just deserve it. Good job Mr. Salaam
Bravo to this one. Although I love everything Sa'id Salaam has written this one made me so proud of him. Yes that ending through me until I kept reading. I simply loved it.
I truly enjoy this book This was of by best read by this author since Trap House when I first discovered this author talent. He should created some hot boys book or write a website
He brought this story to a great close! Glad all the girls got back on track and nobody of extreme importance had to die. It's called one bad apple but they were all bad apples.
I’m so happy Yazz had the type of mind set she did I was in pins and needles thinking they was going to get caught or the Woah was going to kill them they all had so many obstacles and growing up to do I’m just glad they all got a little piece of happiness good read
This book lets you know just because you are from the hood doesn’t mean you have to be hood and get get stuck there. Many people feel as though you can never make it out of the hood. The hood is a mental state of mind and once you get your mind out you’re out.
I loved how loyal they were to each other. In today's society there is always a lot of back stabbing and selfishness. I was happy with the way it ended.
