If Were tradition forced you to marry at twenty-five, would you do it? Helping bust up a kidnapping ring should give Bailey some leeway, shouldn’t it? It does, but only a little. There are idiots, and then there are suicidal idiots. For some reason, Bailey seems to attract the latter. Bailey is getting stronger, and her feelings for fake boyfriend Roland are becoming problematic. Some strangers try to help, some strangers attack without provocation. If Weres are looking for a fight, they should remember she never backs down. Never. Having now been introduced to magic, witches, wizards, and shamans, Bailey just wants to go back and hide and work on cars in peace. Unfortunately, the gods have noticed her. Massive change is coming down from the heavens, and Bailey Nordin is the Were in the middle. She needs to own her power, but it isn’t easy. Will she successfully juggle the latest problems while working out how to break with tradition?
A long time ago I was born in Los Angeles. That's where I spent many of my formative years. After I became an adult, I moved around for a bit before ending up in a small town in Oregon, very similar to Bailey's hometown. Greenhearth is fake, if you haven't already Googled that, but it's like many small towns with less than 1,000 people.
My pets... I love animals, especially my two even if they do create havoc in my daily life. I have a cat, named Snowstorm, Storm for short. Then I have a rescue, Josephine. She's a Labradoodle - I think. It's hard to say but it's the best I can come up with.
What I'm working on... I'm already working on the next book in the series - was working on it before Bad Attitude came back from editing. And now that it has released, need to stay on track with A Bit Aggressive.

This book was just as high octane as book one, with Bailey and Roland driving around the State of Washington like crazy people, but also driving all over Seattle and other places, too, noas they discover even more Were girls had been kidnapped, and so went about rescuing them.
The trouble I had with this book, was that it just didn't hold my attention, as there was still no real character development with Bailey and Roland, who were both acting more like adrenalin-addicted teens, rather than the mid-to-late twenties that they both are!
Despite this, I'm going to keep on reading the series, as I really do hate giving up on books, especially once I've started them, so I'm ever hopeful that the racing around will stop, and we'll begin to see both Were Witch, and Wizard, behaving more maturely at last - I can but hope so, anyway.
Most of the characters are still more one-dimensional than I believe they should be, especially after the second book is now finished and, even though Bailey's Father has been mentioned a couple of times, in that he was due to get home at the end of book one, he still hasn't appeared, with book two now finished.
There's been no sight of him, nor any explanation as to where he is, or what's happened to him.
In fact, there's been no mention AT ALL, as to where her Mother is, either, so I'm ever hopeful that Book Three: 'Too Much Magic', will be an improvement on this one, as I REALLY don't like feeling bored, after reading two books of the series!
So, once I've finished book three, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think about it - hopefully, it'll be an improvement on books one & two!
Well the story is still fun but its go go go and no room for character or relationship development. Fantastical elements get added but then again little time to process and understand the way this world seems to work.
Perhaps it's just me since I've had similar complaints about other authors I've read lately. Still, if the only factor unifying the characters is the intensity of their shared experiences, then what happens when the adrenaline stops? Sure they've shared a tender moment here and there but we still know what about the characters after two books? Bailey is a good brawler and mechanic who loves her brothers and Roland is a super powerful wizard. Now we know Bailey has magic but I don't feel we KNOW the characters any better than at the start of book one.
The reason I gave the story 4 of 5 stars is because of things being left out and questions not answered. For one, it brings up Bailey's Father coming home Twice, and still, has not shown up. The second is why when Freya shows up Jacob seems to already know something about her. And the third, why hasn't questions been asked about her parentage. Like how does she have magic if one of her parents do not. It is a good story, but it just needs more in site. Without giving everything away. And Roland is supposed to be so powers according to the Goddess ,but he has not shown near as much as Bailey. I will keep reading the series hope my questions get answered. I love the character I just would like more info.
Bailey and Roger continue finding themselves in the thick of things. Chasing traffickers, avoiding the police, trying to lose the three witches, and just wanting to be left alone to live as they wish on their own terms. More car chases, more sarcasm and hilarity, and we learn more about the hidden world of magic and weres.
Better than the first one and again with nonstop action after about a third of the way through. Less sophomoric than the last and with magic being less easy. The 2 main characters are becoming fun to read and less country bumpkin so that is also nice. If the author keeps this up the next books should be good.
The game is afoot, and what it is yet to be determined. Strange forces are surrounding the wizard and fledgling werewitch girl. Chasing kidnappers and retrieving the victims is becoming more than just a one time act. And a mystery character is lurking to take control. A good read.
Another good read. Bailey is an interesting character and it was a good story. Wouldn't mind some more explanations on the hows and whys of some events? but if it gets covered in later books that works too. And what's up with ... Nevermind, don't want to spoil anything for anyone...
What a awesome I statement in the Werewitch books. This writer is very talented and Bailey and Roland are the perfect protagonists. Do not miss this series! Keep churning out the awesome stories, Renee! I can't wait to see what happens next
Another easy romp with Weres, magic, car chases and bad guys. Roland is finally more than a sidekick. The pace of the final chapters is great after some meandering early in the story. Overall a fun read but it is best to have read book 1.
This was a very action driven book and a great read. Taken on fast action ventures and sights I wish I could see. From the discription of the fighting and screens, I would love to have been hiiddeñ to observe.
I really like when authors pick up in the new book where they left off so to speak. Continuity is good. Realty liked this one. Our werewitch girl is heading down a road that can't be good but she'll come out on top.
Lots of action, sneaky villains (not the kidnappers, they are just slime) and I love the men in black, how they are outside the story but involved. Keep writing!!
Nice fast paced story. Characters are believable and seem like people who I can identify with. Love the people, the tribes and looking forward to more stories.
