I have definitely left my heart in San Francisco and it’s not because I am from this beautiful city but the fact that Layla Hagen continues to write swoonworthy, heart-palpitating, tangible and sweet love stories following the Bennett family of San Francisco.

photo 8efbed54ffaeb9c58bd122d4b38fa6_zpspsuxvtop.gif “God, his eyes are too blue, and his lips too full. The combo should be illegal. Eric Callahan is six feet of sexiness. ”

If you have read the first two books of The Bennett Family Series, then you are well aware that Sebastian and Logan are officially off the market thanks to the matchmaking skills of their sister, Pippa Bennett. And now it seems the tables have turn and the third eldest sibling is finally gonna get a taste of her own medicine when her meddlesome siblings try to match her with Eric Callahan.

#yourForeverLove (1)

Eric Callahan is a single widowed father. His life has centered on work and especially his daughter, Julia, whom he loves and treasures the most after losing his wife to a fatal car accident. Eric brought along his daughter to San Francisco for a three month stay to oversee his company West Coast flagship jewelry stores. Eric is also good friends with Max Bennett, the younger brother of Pippa. Eric’s daughter happens to be a big fan Pippa’s jewelry designs and hopes to follow in her footsteps. Eager to meet Pippa, Julia was over the moon ecstatic that Pippa agreed to mentor her for two weeks before Julia’s summer school design program starts.

Right off the initial meeting, Pippa was hot and bothered by Eric’s presence. She has never met a man that she immediately felt a strong connection to. As Eric befriends Pippa, they soon find themselves flirting with one another. For the first time ever, Pippa is happy since her divorce. She finally found a man who saw the real Pippa. As Eric and Pippa explore this uncharted new territory of love, they both begin to see their fears about love begin to crumble. But what happens when Eric and Julia’s time in San Francisco comes to an end and they must return back to Boston, will Pippa be able to let go of Eric and Julia? Will Eric be able to leave his heart in San Francisco?

photo 8efbed54ffaeb9c58bd122d4b38fa6_zpspsuxvtop.gif “I’m not going anywhere, Pippa. My place is right here, next to you.”

Your Forever Love was a sweet, sexy, and beautiful love story that had all the elements of family, friendship, second chances, and passion. I absolutely adored this sweet and heartfelt tale of two people discovering and getting their second chance at love. And I definitely think Tony Bennett had it right, I did leave my heart in San Francisco. So if you are looking for a romance that is brimming with love, laughter, steam, and charm then look no further than a Layla Hagen book. I seriously can’t wait for Max’s book and hopefully Max will fall in love a San Francisco resident but either way, I can’t wait for his book.

This is the third book in the Bennett family series but can be read as a stand alone. This is the second book I have read by this author and it was a very different style of writing than what I was expecting.

Pippa Bennett is going through negotiations with her ex-husband over their divorce agreement. This guy completely pulled the wool over her eyes and has left her feeling very mistrustful of any man that shows interest in her. It has also meant that she is reluctant to get involved with any man that could potentially break her heart , meaning that she could potentially be closing herself off to meeting a great guy. She is a successful, gorgeous and talented woman, not to mention a fantastic boss to the employees in their family business. This is how her path crosses with Eric Callahan.

Eric was widowed after his wife and daughter were involved in a car accident. His daughter was fortunate to have survived and he has been raising her on his own. He knows that Julie is missing out on having a mother figure in her life but he hasn't met anyone who he would feel comfortable introducing her to yet. Until Pippa Bennett.

Eric is in San Francisco with his daughter for several months, setting up a new branch of his business. He meets Pippa at a wedding and his daughter Julie quickly forms a bond with her over her adoration about Pippa's talent as a jewelry designer. Eric hasn't seen Julie this happy in a long time so he willingly goes along with this new connection between them all.

Eric thinks that Pippa is just beautiful and both of them seem to have this simmering attraction between them. He knows that anything building between them can only every be short term as he only plans to stay for a limited amount of time but there is something definitely worth exploring between them. The more time they spend with each other, the more apparent it becomes that this connection they have could a long lasting one. Eric needs to decide if he is willing to take that leap and trust Pippa with his and Julie's hearts.

'You make me want to give you more.' 'More of what?' I ask, confused. 'More of me. The trouble is, I loved and lost, and I don't know what's left of me.'

This was a really sweet, low angst story. A good beach side / pool side read. It almost felt a bit Mills and Boon like to me but that is not a criticism by any means, especially if you are drawn to stories like that.

Pippa has had her heart broken and then stomped on. Although she has no trust in a relationship she thinks a mini relationship with a handsome man might work. Something casual with a definite end date. Until they start to heal each other and find love.

similar to the first two in this companion series this follows a bennett sibling (in this book pippa) who find their partner.

also similar in all three books:
- the extreme insta-love
- the back and forth of not wanting to date and doing it anyways but calling it something else
- the men being very cavemen-ish with “mine! woman mine now!” behavior
- a big fight of some kind before the happy end (it’s not a spoiler people we all know how this type of book ends!)

so if you enjoy that formula and the writing style of the author?
great this will be a fun read for you!

if you need something new or at least a different formula for each book in a companion series such as this?
not the series or book for you!

i enjoy the authors writing, spastically her sassy characters and how independent the women are but still very firmly female and enjoy things that are specified as girly and doing so without shame or being shamed by others. so i love that in her books.
it’s sadly rather rare to read about career women that also enjoy family.

i also enjoyed in this book that eric (the main guy) has a daughter and she isn’t forgotten at any point in this book.
and she is a big part of his life and influence his choices and i enjoyed that and thought it was very well done!

all in all it’s not a ground breaking “best ever” kind of book but it was fun and a super fast read and i enjoyed every second of it!

Another spellbinding and captivating read by the talented Layla Hagen. I've been following this series, and with both of the protagonists' man candy bros off the market, it's now the mighty Pippa to now meet her match and what a ride it was!! Oh the mighty eldest Bennett sibling has fallen!!

Her chemistry and pairing with Eric was lovely...just lovely. I loved their dynamics and backgrounds and how their triumphs and heartbreaks from their previous relationships led them to the way they are now. They are essentially two lost individuals not looking for love and yet in the end finding it and themselves again while in the process.

I've always enjoyed the themes of love, family, friendship, respect, and sacrifice throughout this series and this next installment does not disappoint!!

I do not like this book. So far I read 2 books on Bennet series and 1 on Connor series. So far the Bennet series is a disappointment. I do not expect a complicated character development. But give me something on the story, convincing characters. Here I found nothing.

I do not feel anything. No chemistry. No hot anticipation on the sparks flying. I wait and wait and wait and nothing. The steamy sex is fall flat.

Happy Release Day Layla!!!!!

What can I say about the Bennett family that I haven't said in my previous 2 reviews. Well this time the tables are turned on matchmaker Pippa and she get's her own chance at love with alpha billionaire and widowed dad Eric Callahan, swoon!

Like the previous books, Your Forever Love picks up where Logan and Nadine left us in Your Captivating Love, and focuses on eldest Bennett sister Pippa, if you've read the previous 2 then you are already familiar with Pippa and her previous relationship history, and how she's the family matchmaker. Eric Callahan literally sweeps her off her feet in this instalove story. I inhaled it in a day, Layla's writing just flows and the humour and heat of the books absorb you!

This is a great addition to the Bennett Family series, instalove but full of red hot alpha's and some pretty wall banging sex scenes. As with the others, there is no OTT drama, stalkers, psycho ex's (well), It's not over thought or complex with plot twist and turns so you don't know your arse from your elbow, it is simple, light hearted BUT fulfilling.

I need to be an adopted Bennett Layla, I need do you hear me!!!!

Christopher or Max next???

Favorite Quotes:

This man is eye-cupcake with a side of chocolate sauce, and if he talks about playing Belle for his daughter for one more second, my ovaries might jump him.

Tell me about you, but please, make an effort to find something vile and repugnant. So far, I've learned that you get along with my daughter, are funny as hell, and have a body made for sin. Bad combo for my determination to remain a monk.

His caresses speak of promises, his kisses taste like dreams. I believe every single word because he is this kind of man.

My Review:

Your Forever Love is my favorite Layla Hagen book of the eight I have read to date. This couple and their sweet and sexy story were just adorable. The plot was a fun, tender, and sensual second chance at romance for a young widower with a child and a divorcee. I have enjoyed every book I have read of Layla's, but this one ranks at the top of her very satisfying shelf. The main characters are endearing, as are most of the secondary characters, the entire Bennett family is lovable and compelling in their own right. I found the storyline and writing to be so addictive I didn't want to put my kindle down. It ran smoothly like a movie reel through my head. Written from a dual POV, the writing was humorous, sweet, sensual, and best of all - it was relatively conflict-free and totally entertaining.

3,5-3,75 stars.
Till 90% of the book the hero was with one foot out from relationship.
From the start he was a pussy-teaser! He said he was damaged goods! And he was after our heroine all the time! But always remembering her that it's temporarily... WTF!!!??

Your Forever Love is my first book by Layla Hagen and it certainly will not be my last. This book was sexy, entertaining and a whole lot of fun.

Told from dual points of view, Your Forever Love follows the story of Eric and Pippa. Fresh from her own divorce, Pippa is used to being the matchmaker. She loves nothing more than helping others find love, even if her opinion of love isn’t what it used to be. So, when the tables are turned and her family takes matchmaking into their own hands, Pippa is finally getting a taste of her own medicine…..Eric Callahan is smart, sexy and a tough businessman. He works hard at providing the best life for his daughter that he can. When he finds himself in San Francisco for business, he promises to make it just about work and spending time with his daughter. But, what he didn’t anticipate was Pippa. Pippa is a total game changer. Not only is she smart and beautiful, but she’s great with his daughter. Eric knows that he should stay away from Pippa, but he can’t fight the connection that they share….

Your Forever Love was a quick and enjoyable read for me. This is the third book in the Bennett Family Series and can totally be read as a stand-alone. From the moment you meet Pippa and Eric, you can’t help but be captivated with them. Their banter is a lot of fun and it just flows so effortlessly. The sparks between the two of them are instant, but I really appreciated the way that their relationship developed. They took the time to get to know one another, all while trying to fight their attraction and not jump into something neither one of them was ready for. However, let me tell you, when these two finally do give into their connection/attraction, all bets are off. They are absolutely scorching. You thought Eric was just bossy as a businessman? Nope, he is not only bossy/alpha in the bedroom, but he is one serious dirty talker. And Pippa…I just adored her and the way that she loved her family. I knew she was a great match from Eric when I saw just how taken she was with his daughter. She helped Eric to see that he deserves to be happy and to find love.

Your Forever Love hit all my marks for a great read. It was so easy to get lost in Eric and Pippa’s story. Their story was fun. It was entertaining. It had lots of sexy good times. This story will make you laugh and has just the right amount of angst and drama. I seriously couldn’t have asked for more. I loved every second of this book. As I previously stated, this is my first book by this author and I can not wait to go back and discover the other books in this series.

Well, I loved it! As Pippa said at one point, ‘I’m grinning so much I’m genuinely afraid I might pull a muscle in my face.’

★¸¸. •*¨*•★Minor spoilers alert!!!★•*¨*•. ¸¸★

Writing style:
Dual 1st Person POVs
•*¨*•
Cover and chapter design: It’s consistent with the previous two covers and I love the magenta colored Forever because it pops nicely against the white and black background.
•*¨*•
Lead Characters:
Pippa Bennett – a 30+ year old recently divorced jewelry designer and one of nine Bennett siblings who works at Bennett Enterprises, a jewelry company in San Francisco
Eric Callahan aka ‘the shark’ – a 33-year old widowed, single father of 12-year old Julie and the CEO of Callahan’s Finest high-end jewelry shops
•*¨*•
Supporting characters:
Julie Callahan –
Eric’s only 12-year old daughter, loves to draw and wants to design jewelry
Mrs. Callahan – Eric’s very wise mom
Mr. and Mrs. Bennett – man, they are such a cool senior couple.
Pippa’s 8 Bennett siblings – Sebastian, Logan, Alice, older twin set Max and Christopher, Summer, and second twin set Daniel and Blake
The Significant Others – Ava (Sebastian’s wife) and Nadine (Logan’s fiancée)
•*¨*•
The story:
Pippa and Eric’s love story was such a feel good, funny and sexy romp of a read. I have zero complaints. I love reconnecting to the Bennett clan and seeing how they all interacted while another one of their siblings fell in love. I couldn’t resist sharing my reactions on GoodReads and found myself frequently highlighting or bookmarking moments as Pippa and Eric grew closer and recovered finally from the scar their past left on their hearts.
•*¨*•
One of my favorite lighter moments between them during the rooftop club scene:
“What do you want to talk about?” I ask him, trying hard to keep my mind out of the gutter.

“Anything,” he replies. “Tell me about you, but please, make an effort to find something vile and repugnant. So far, I’ve learned that you get along with my daughter, are funny as hell, and have a body made for sin. Bad combo for my determination to remain a monk.”
•*¨*•
One of my favorite romantic declarations:
“I promise to be there through everything. Cheer with you on the good days, cheer you up on the bad ones. Work through everything and never give up. Love is an honor and a choice, and I will choose to love you every day.” ~Eric
•*¨*•
Pippa’s brother Max will have the Bennett matchmakers focused on him next, ha! ;-)

~ 5 Matchmaking Stars ~

FULL REVIEW Now Posted ::
What happens when the tables turn on the Matchmaker of the family and she becomes the matchee?? Read Your Forever Love by Layla Hagen to find out.

I have absolutely fallen in love with the Bennett family. This series is turning into one of my all time favorite series. Each of these books are exactly what I look for in a 5 star read. This book made me laugh, smile, swoon, and blush without there being an abundance of drama added to the story. Layla gives us interesting enough storylines that she doesn’t need all that extra drama to make you keep turning the pages. You’ll also be captivated by this story because of the cast of characters she gives us. I am still hoping to become an “adopted” Bennett ;)

Your Forever Love is the third book in her interconnected Bennett Family Series. Each of these books can be read as standalone, but to truly appreciate the Bennett Family, I feel they should be read in order.

In this book we follow the journey to finding love again with Pippa (Oldest daughter in the Bennett Family) and Eric Callahan. Eric is also a wealthy man who runs his family’s business. He is out on the West coast for three months expanding the business. He has worked with some of Pippa’s brothers, so that is how he knows the Bennett Family. Pippa is also known as the matchmaker of the family. But coming off a bad marriage her family feels it’s time for her to find her forever love, or at least get back out into the dating scene. Eric is a widower with a 12 year old daughter, and absolutely perfect for Pippa. These two were the perfect couple…I loved their story and their love made me swoon. But both of them are afraid to love and lose again. So will Pippa and Eric be able to overcome their fears? And what happens when Eric is supposed to go back to Boston? Will either one of them be willing to uproot their lives for the other?? These are all answers you will find out after reading this book.

All of the Bennett’s make an appearance in this book and we also get to see more of Max, Christopher and Blake. I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series. I have enjoyed each of these books and Layla’s writing just keeps getting better and better. Her stories truly suck me in and I always have a hard time putting them down. She has a fan for life in me :)

So if you are looking for that sweet, sexy, and fun read without a lot of drama, then this is the book to read. I would recommend this series to everyone!!! Well worth the read!!!

Hmm, Was dissapointed by this book. Whilst loving the Bennett series and really enjoying the Logan and Nadine story I was looking forward to Pippa's happy ever after. Meeting Eric and Julie started off really well but when things got a little hot and heavy she came across as a really selfish lover and it was all about her. There is that theme across all the books but more so with this one.

Also, during the event of the second hospital event, I can't believe that she would react in the way she did. With her back round and the way Eric spoke to her she would have crumbled having all the built up confidence knocked out of her. I just thought the scene and her reaction was really unrealistic based on her history, not a true reflection of someone who had gone through such a difficult time, who had started to trust someone and had it thrown back in her face.

Other than that, an entertaining read.

I love this book. Eric is a single dad, he lost his wife 5 years ago and now concentrates on his daughter and his business. Pippa was burned, badly, by her ex-husband. These two were amazing. They don't want a relationship, heck, they don't even want to date but between his daughter and her siblings they don't stand a chance. Add in their smoking hot chemistry and their genuine feelings toward each other... swoon worthy! I loved seeing Pippa finally get her HEA plus we get to catch up with the whole Bennett family. I love this series and can't wait to read more about my favorite family!

I received an ARC for an honest review. Highly recommended !!!

2.5 "tickling" stars...

I've probably read this author before, but I canna recall.

This 3rd book installment is of the oldest girl in a family of siblings, each getting their own book, so I surmise both the series and all books follow a preset, cookie-cutter, format, where each book may be a stand-alone, but the family/siblings appear in the books as secondary characters who are there to reinforce the closeness and saga of family but also to tease their own story and character development as well.

The oldest Bennett girl is Pippa, a big sister but also a lil' one, as there is an oldest (boy=Sebastian=book 1) at least, a total of eight siblings, 3 being female, 6 being males and within the males, 2 sets of twins!

Pippa meets Eric, an old college friend and business acquaintance of one of her brothers, at the brother's wedding (I can't keep track of names). They hit is off, with Eric being a successful CEO to an inherited business, plus a widower and single dad, and Pippa, a divorcée, who works for the Bennett family business.

Though Eric carries the emotional baggage of the fear of losing any loved ones again and Pippa has the insecurity of having married for love only to find out her ex-husband turned out to be a fraud gold-digger only after her money, both Eric and Pippa find an easy banter and a sexual chemistry, and it doesn't hurt that Eric's daughter really likes Pippa and the feeling is mutual.

Overall, the romance was cool, but the plot was just too tame and predictable. It can be categorized as an easy read, even a comfort read, I suppose, but it didn't hold my interest, especially with Eric and Pippa falling into a together-for-now routine, a deal that is for the duration of Eric's stay in Pippa home city. At one point there was just them sexing and chilling without any drama but the reader knows that they both are falling for each other but not addressing their supposed expiration date.

They do get their heads out their asses at the very end, but it was a bit done and tedious for me.

Maybe some angst was needed (and I don't usually say that); complexity of some unique kind is key, not just the regular "you live here but I live there" or made up, contrived notions of what is making the love impossible. Maybe Eric and/or Pippa could have benefited from more profound backstories, or high stakes, as with the whole series.

Yet, it is a feel-good romance, in the end, and my mood probably doesn't coincide with the vibe right now.

Happy Reading.

In „Diamonds for Love – Entflammte Sehnsucht“ lässt Autorin Layla Hagen

Eric Callahan and his daughter are only in San Francisco for three months to expanding his business. Eric is not looking for love. Until Pippa Bennett. She captivates him from the moment he sets eyes on her. Pippa whole world was her family and work. She was an exceptional creative mind when it came to what she does like no one else. She was also a sweet soul. She took to Eric's daughter like no other. Eric took to her and did not look back. Things moved along and life came along. Eric had to make a decision. That when mama Callahan states her peace.

Eric and Pippa was a beautiful read.

Narrator did a good job.

I have been a fan of the Bennett family for a while now and Reading about pippa Bennett has only made me a bigger fan of the author.
Pippa has ahd her heart broken tragically and it was hard for her to trust again. I remember her as the family matchmaker and now it her turn.
Eric is a 'widowed' dad he is not looking for a relationship until he meets Pippa. Eric comes into town only for business and spend time with his daughter.Intercept Pippa, who is actually really great with his daughter.
The story has the perfect amout of drama and happines that you'll love the book so much.
