My Review:
I have learned that I can always count on Layla Hagen’s Bennetts for sweet and steamy stories that are relatively low in conflict and dreaded angst, and I was long overdue for some refreshing relief. Summer and Alex were a charming couple and their story was delightfully crisp and simply adorable while it also brought the heat. The storyline was entertaining and engaging and provided updates on the rest of the massive Bennett clan. I enjoyed their playful banter and sizzling chemistry. But I’m left to wonder what will be next as Ms. Hagen has married off the last of the clan, although there seems to be a large pool of cousins yet to be tapped.

Inhalt: "Diamonds for Love - Glühende Leidenschaft" ist der neunte und letzte Teil der "Diamonds for Love" von der Autorin Layla Hagen. In diesem Band lernt das Bennett-Nesthäkchen Summer den Hollywoodschauspieler Alexander Westbrook kennen. Er besucht das Waisenhaus indem Summer ehrenamtlich aushilft. Er ist attraktiv, erfolgreich, nett und vorallem seit neuestem auch Single. Zwischen den beiden funkt es regelrecht. Doch hat ihre Beziehung eine Chance? Schließlich ist alex berühmt und Summer arbeitet in einem Museum...
Meinung: Das Cover sieht gut aus. Es fügt sich nahtlos in die Coverreihe der anderen ein. Die pinke Glitzerschrift und Blumen heben sich gut von dem schwarzen Cover ab. Übersetzt wurde das Buch von Vanessa Lamatsch. Es wird sowohl aus Summers als auch Alexs Sicht erzählt.
Ich wollte diese Geschichte wirklich lieben. Der Klappentext hat mich von Anfang an neugierig gemacht. Leider konnte mich die Geschichte überhaupt nicht überzeugen. Am Anfang fand ich beide Protagonisten sehr nett. Sie kamen sehr sympathisch rüber. Trotzdem konnte ich die ganze Zeit keinen richtigen Draht zu den beiden aufbauen. Ich fand es gut, dass Alex nicht der stereotypische Hollywoodbadboy ist, der durch eine Frau und die damit einhergehende große Liebe plötzlich weich wird. Trotzdem hatte er mir zu wenig Kanten. Insgesamt haben diese mir bei allen Charakteren gefehlt. Viele Situationen und Dialoge kamen mir klischeehaft und vorhersehbar vor. Bis auf einmal kurz vor dem Ende habe ich eigentlich schon gewusst was passiert. Die meiste Zeit ging mir das mit den beiden viel zu schnell. Ich fand es unrealistisch, dass sie sich so schnell verlieben, zusammenkommen und nach einem knappen Jahr heiraten, nur um dann ein weiteres Jahr später ihr erstes Kind zu bekommen. Es fehlte mir an Tiefe und Spannungsbogen. Die meiste Zeit über hatte ich das Gefühl als würde die Geschichte, unterbrochen von einigen heißen Szenen, einfach nur so dahin plätschern.
Fazit: Leider konnte mich das Buch nicht überzeugen. Ich habe die vorherigen Bände nicht gelesen und werde es auch nicht mehr tun. Trotzdem denke ich, dass Fans von Layla Hagen und der "Diamonds for Love"-Reihe hier mehr als nur auf ihre Kosten kommen werden. Sie können sich auch auf ein Wiedersehen mit vielen bekannten Gesichtern freuen.

Ohhhhh. The feels on this book!! It was bittersweet to know it was the final Bennett book (but I have a feeling the cousins are coming :))). Summer was always the loving child, but stood her ground, and fought for what she believed in. She had to with all of those siblings and in-laws. This book was the ending that we all need with this family.
Alex was a phenomenal H in this book, and fit with Summer perfectly. They truly were great together. I can't go into a lot about this book, because it will give away a lot, but what I can say is neither one of them doubted their attraction and feelings for one another. It was Sparks flying from the start. I loved that about their relationship. The writing is much better than my review, so I suggest you just read the book and form your own opinion!!

Mein zweites Buch aus dieser Reihe und auch dieses wusste wieder auf ganzer Linie zu überzeugen. Die Geschichte von Summer und Alex, ist süß… beinahe zuckersüß und auch sehr leidenschaftlich. Mir hat an diesem Buch wieder einmal besonders der Familienzusammenhalt und die tiefe Verbundenheit und Bereitschaft dieser gefallen, für jeden einzustehen und immer bereit zu sein und zu helfen. Die Schwestern mit ihren Kupplerfähigkeiten, die Brüder mit ihrer Aufpassermentalität und die Eltern mit ihrer Fürsorge. Diese Familie ist bereit jeden ins Herz zu schließen und in ihre Familie zu integrieren, der zu einem der Mitglieder gehört auch wenn diese Person einen vielleicht schwierigen Hintergrund hat. Alex ist ein solcher Mann,denn durch seinen Erfolg und die Bekanntheit, die damit einher geht ist es nicht einfach ein normales Leben zu führen. Immer in der Öffentlichkeit, von Papparazzi verfolgt und von Produktionsfirmen an Verträge geknebelt. Doch Summer und ihre Familie sind bereit sich dem allen zu stellen und es zu einem guten Ende zu bringen. Dafür kann man diese Familie nur bewundern. Die Charaktere Summer und Alex haben in meinen Augen nur gute Eigentschafte mitbekommen und gab einfach gar nichts an ihnen auszusetzen. Sie waren einfach perfekt füreinander und die ganze Geschichte drum herum war in allem stimmig und wundervoll zu lesen. Ich habe mich bei der Story sehr gut unterhalten gefühlt und vermisse diese Familie jetzt schon, denn es war der letzte Band in dieser wundervollen Serie. Da ich aber noch längst nicht alle kenne und es zum Glück ja viele Geschwister sind habe ich noch einige Bücher auf die ich mich freuen kann. So wie ich es aber gelesen habe in dem Buch, plant Pippa zusammen mit Summer und ihrer Cousine bereits die Verkupplung eines Cousins aus L.A. Vielleicht beginnt ja hier schon eine neue Reihe und neue wundervolle Unterhaltungsstunden mit dieser talentierten Autorin. Ich kann dieses Buch wirklich empfehlen.

Ich habe mich bei der Story sehr gut unterhalten gefühlt und vermisse diese Familie jetzt schon, denn es war der letzte Band in dieser wundervollen Serie. Da ich aber noch längst nicht alle kenne und es zum Glück ja viele Geschwister sind habe ich noch einige Bücher auf die ich mich freuen kann. So wie ich es aber gelesen habe in dem Buch, plant Pippa zusammen mit Summer und ihrer Cousine bereits die Verkupplung eines Cousins aus L.A. Vielleicht beginnt ja hier schon eine neue Reihe und neue wundervolle Unterhaltungsstunden mit dieser talentierten Autorin. Ich kann dieses Buch wirklich empfehlen.

Diesem Buch habe ich wirklich mit einem lachenden und einem weinenden Auge entgegengesehen. Denn mit Diamonds For Love - Glühende Leidenschaft ist tatsächlich schon das letzte Buch dieser wundervollen Reihe erschienen. Eine Reihe, die sich für mich über die Monate zu einer Familie entwickelt hat, in die ich mich immer flüchten konnte, wenn ich die Welt um mich herum vergessen wollte. Und auch wenn mit Summers Geschichte ein Ende erreicht ist, weiß ich jetzt schon, dass diese Reihe mich noch viele Jahre begleiten wird. Besonders nach diesem gelungenen Ende.
Was passiert in diesem Buch?
Summer ist die jüngste der neun Geschwister des Bennett-Clans. Nach und nach hat sie über die Jahre dabei zugesehen, wie sich alle Geschwister verliebt und sogar geheiratet und Kinder bekommen haben. Nur sie hatte bisher absolut kein Glück in Sachen Liebe. Genau aus diesem Grund versucht Summer all ihre momentane Energie in ihre Arbeit und das Waisenhaus, welches sie ehrenamtlich unterstützt, zu stecken. Um den Kindern eine Freude zu machen, bittet sie ihren Bruder Daniel darum, Alex Westbrook zu einem Besuch im Waisenhaus zu überreden. Doch womit Summer niemals gerechnet hätte ist, dass schon ab dem ersten Augenblick die Funken zwischen ihr und Alex sprühen und er so anders ist als gedacht. Aber kann das zwischen ihnen überhaupt gut gehen oder steht Alex Beruf zwischen ihnen?
Konnten mich die Protagonisten überzeugen?

Ich habe ja manchmal echte Probleme mit Protagonistinnen, aber Summer Bennett hat es mir so unglaublich leicht gemacht sie ins Herz zu schließen. Sie ist eine so süße und unkomplizierte Person. Sie liebt ihre Geschwister über alles und würde auch alles für sie machen, denn Familie steht einfach ganz oben. Aber auch die Kinder aus St. Anne, dem Kinderheim, in dem sie ehrenamtlich arbeitet, liegen ihr am Herzen. Diesen großherzigen und wirklich loyalen und liebevollen Zug an ihr mochte ich unglaublich gern. Dazu hat sie noch einen tollen Humor und ist immer aufmerksam, wobei sie sich manchmal sogar selbst vergisst. Ganz ehrlich, Summer Bennett hat ein Herz aus Gold und ich glaube kaum, dass es einen Menschen gibt, der sie nicht ins Herz schließt. Denn das ist einfach unmöglich, sie ist wirklich eine der besten Protagonistinnen seit langem.
Und auch wenn ich jetzt schon mit Summer die Messlatte sehr weit nach oben gesteckt habe, Alex Westbrook steht ihr in nichts nach. Gott, dieser Mann bringt mein Herz zum Schmelzen nur wenn ich seinen Namen schreibe. Ich bin ja eigentlich kein großer Fan von diesen Büchern rund um Hollywood-Stars, denn sie werden meist echt wie Arschlöcher dargestellt die im Laufe der Geschichte geläutert werden, doch Alex ist das genaue Gegenteil. Er ist ein Mann, der sein Herz am rechten Fleck hat und natürlich macht ihm sein Job als Schauspieler Spaß. Aber gerade was damit einhergeht, die Fans und die gefakten Beziehungen als Promo, macht ihm echt zu schaffen. Er ist einfach ein Mann, der loyal seinem Beruf und seinen Kollegen gegenüber ist, seine Familie über alles liebt und diese beschützen will, dazu ist er ein ruhiger, netter und charmanter Kerl. Natürlich in einer sexy Verpackung. Aber wirklich Alex Westbrook ist ein absoluter Traummann, in den ich mich Hals über Kopf verliebt habe.

Die beiden ließen schlichtweg das Herz beim Lesen immer wieder höher Schlagen. Und nicht nur das, mein Herz hat auch geblutet (und ja ich habe an einer Stelle richtig geweint so sehr hat mich das mitgenommen) für die beiden, denn die Hürden, die diese beiden überwinden müssen wünsche ich wirklich keinem. Aber ich kann euch natürlich sagen, dass es ein Happy End für die beiden gab und das war einfach Zucker, genau wie Summer und Alex insgesamt.

Wie immer muss ich an dieser Stelle (und gerade weil es nun einmal der Abschluss der Reihe ist, muss ich es umso mehr) einfach noch einmal die Familie Bennett ansprechen.
Diese gesamte Familie, bei der ich durch die vielen Kinder zum Schluss ein wenig den Überblick verloren habe, ist mir so ans Herz gewachsen über die 9 Bücher hinweg. Man hat mit ihnen allen mitgefiebert, mitgelitten und vor allem hat man sich zusammen mit ihnen verliebt. Und das Layla Hagen noch einmal einen wundervollen Epilog für die gesamte Familie und Ende dieses Buches geschrieben hat, hat mein Herz vor Liebe überquellen lassen. Für mich steht fest, diese Familie wird für immer einen Platz in meinem Herzen haben und ich werde immer wieder gern zu ihnen zurückkehren.
PS: Ich möchte bitte immer noch eine Adoptierte-Bennett werden, wenn dies möglich ist!

Bisher war mein absoluter Favorit der Reihe ja die Geschichte rund um Pippa Entflammte Sehnsucht, aber Layla Hagen hat mit diesem Buch eine gefühlvolle, witzige, leidenschaftliche Geschichte geschaffen, die mich aus den Socken gehauen hat, sodass sie tatsächlich Pippa (wenn auch wirklich nur hauchdünn) schlägt. Schlichtweg ist Glühende Leidenschaft ein perfekter Abschluss für diese Reihe. ♥
Übrigens, sollte der Verlag das hier lesen...könnt ihr bitte so schnell wie möglich auch die Bücher der Connor Familie, also den Cousins und Cousinen der Bennetts, rausbringen. Bitte!

How it is possible romance stories to become more and more beautiful and captivating, is beyond me. The same goes for the creativity of the fiction characters. Being an insatiable romantic myself it feels great to find out however new story I read, to excel in that department. This detail also helps me to settle easier on who might be on the list of my favorite authors. Layla Hagen is definitely one of them! I love her easy to read narrative, how passionate she is to spread the love through her stories; stories which sound much real into their fiction world, describing important daily life themes each hero has to deal with.
Your Endless Love, the second book of Layla Hagen I have the pleasure to read, is so far my favorite. Unfolding the story of the last Bennett sibling, Summer, the author makes her mission to write the most beautiful, full of true love story in all Bennett series; and she does an amazing job to deliver it.
I admire how thoughtful and down to earth Summer's character is. She's the last of the ninth children of Bennett family and while anyone could say she has it all at her feet, Summer is nothing but an exception; and what is the most interesting of all? The fact that she has so much love to give despite the numerous of people around her. Her character blooms more when she meets Alexander Westbrook. He found his way into her world effortlessly, only by showing his affection and seductive self. I was in a totally swooning mode thoroughly with this book...
Being an A-list actor put Alex in the eye of the Press daily. When he meet Summer he is in the middle of a hurricane but the attraction to each other is much more stronger to not let them live their love. Alex's interesting to Summer is sincere and thoughtful. Is what made me like him from the start. His sexy attitude when they were alone comes next. To top it all, his always there teasing and carefree self is the reason of falling in love with his character. Alex felt so real to me in many ways, just like Summer.
The finale of Bennett Family comes again with a HEA. Lot's of them actually. This family can be a role model and an inspiration. Putting the bad moments aside, love and caring for one another is what's stays in the end and these feelings are the most precious ones. Layla Hagen kept for the end the most sizzling couple for her fans. Summer and Alex will be always in my heart as the most romantic, thoughtful couple! I was hooked by their story and couldn't put the book down. Yes, I felt frustrated and nervous for them at some point but then, the author hit me with the most breathtaking lines a man could say. Melting will be an understatement on this occasion. Your Endless Love is an exquisite, evocative, beautiful love story which is an absolute must read my friends. Don't miss reading it.
I hope I intrigued your imagination a little and make you grab the book, finding out what's really happening because there is no way to tell you myself.

Sometimes you just need to read a sweet and swoon worthy romance. Something that makes you feel good, yet knocks you off your feet. A book that will make you smile and feel positively giddy. Your Endless Love was that read for me.
Your Endless Love is the 9th book in The Bennett Family Series and follows the story of Alex and Summer. Summer loves romance, but has the worse taste/luck in men. She knows true love is a real thing, she’s seen it countless times. So, until she finds the one she is meant to spend her days with, Summer spends her time and energy on the things she loves; her job and volunteering. The last thing she ever planned on was Alexander Westbrook. Alex is America’s heartthrob and totally out of her league. But, when the two end up volunteering together, all bets are off. Romance is in the air and sparks are flying all over the place. Staying away from each other was never an option….
Your Endless Love was a fun read from beginning to end. I fell in love with the story-line instantly and loved how fun the characters were. They were the kind of people that just draw you in and make you want to listen to their story. I knew from the moment Alex and Summer got together that they would be a force to be reckoned with. Summer may tease Alex, but she never treated him like a celebrity. She just let him be Alex. And Alex was a good guy, playful and had a huge heart. Together these two balanced each other in just the right way and I just really enjoyed watching them fall in love.
Your Endless Love was sweet and swoon-worthy and just the read that I was looking for. It was the kind of romance that just captivates you, sweeps you off your feet and won’t let you put it down. With steamy and swoon-worthy moments and a dash of drama, this book was a great one to spend my day getting lost in. I will never get enough of the Bennett family and look forward to the next book in the series.

Finally, it was the youngest Bennett’s turn to fall in love. As a fan of this family series, I was definitely curious about how Summer Bennett would be bitten by the love bug. I wasn’t expecting her to fall in love with a celebrity at all. I’m not a huge celebrity romance trope fan, but author Layla Hagen can always be counted on to deliver flirty, sexy and heartwarming goodness no matter the trope employed. Their story was well told in dual point of views.
As Summer’s love interest, Hollywood actor Alexander Westbrook had special restrictions on his personal life that complicated any kind of contact with the opposite sex. The reason why they met at all was a good and admirable one. I did think at one point they took unnecessary risks when time would’ve made taking their connection and friendship to the next level easier. In spite of their semi-recklessness, I enjoyed how they ended up madly in love with each other and able to finally publicly debut their relationship.
Favorite Summer quote:
‘I read once that feelings have a way of sneaking up on you, growing without asking for permission. I didn’t understand the sentiment until now.’
Favorite Alex quote:
“She’s fun and stubborn. I don’t know exactly when I started to fall in love: when I realized how sweet she is, or how fierce. But I haven’t stopped falling since.”
I loved the one year later epilogue that included Summer’s parents’ wedding anniversary party. Both of her parents had lovely words of wisdom to share with everyone gathered to help them celebrate so many years of love. And Summer’s resolve to live by her family’s rules summed it all up nicely:
‘laugh hard, love harder, and always look after each other.’
Sap that I am, I believe the world would be a better place if only every person could have a family like the Bennetts and find true love like each of them did.

I loved the one year later epilogue that included Summer’s parents’ wedding anniversary party. Both of her parents had lovely words of wisdom to share with everyone gathered to help them celebrate so many years of love. And Summer’s resolve to live by her family’s rules summed it all up nicely:
‘laugh hard, love harder, and always look after each other.’
Sap that I am, I believe the world would be a better place if only every person could have a family like the Bennetts and find true love like each of them did.

So jetzt war das Nesthäkchen Summer der Geschwister Bennett dran und hier hat mehr der tolle Humor gefehlt. Es gab zwar ein paar witzige Momente aber es fehlte mir etwas.
Summer scheint nie Glück mit Männern zu haben, aus verschiedenen Gründen, dabei ist sie völlig unkompliziert.
Danke Daniel trifft sie auf den Hollywoodstar Alexander Westbrook. Dieser wird zurzeit immer in der Presse erwähnt, da er und seine Verlobte sich getrennt haben.
Beide kommen sich näher und merken bald das sie so einiges verbindet. Doch Alex hat einen knallharten Vertrag der selbst sein Privatleben bestimmt. Was eine Chance zwischen den beiden erheblich herausfordert.
An sich hat mir die Geschichte gefallen, man merkt gegen Ende welches Missverständnis da einen erwartet. Aber es verlief sehr harmlos und dadurch sehr angenehm.
Summer war mir schon von den anderen Bändern super sympathisch gewesen. Sie ist lieb und nett und einfach völlig süß mit ihrer Art. Schon allein wie sie ihrer Geschwister um den Finger wickelt.

This is the final book in the Bennett family series. It focuses on the baby of the family, Summer. She's known to fangirl over the celebrities that her brother, Daniel, introduces to her. And she tries really hard not to fangirl over Alex Westbrook. He has agreed to visit St Anne's, an orphanage that Summer supports. But when she meets this actor and watches him play the superhero with the kids, she becomes enchanted. Alex is impressed with Summer. She's cute, fun, talkative and good with dealing with his fame. However, now is not the time for him to find romance. His entire career is hanging in the balance as rumors grow to epic proportions. Alex didn't want Summer to have to deal with the drama but he does want Summer in his life. After spending an incredible two weeks together at a camp for St Anne's, they realize that life may just have gotten a whole lot more complicated.
I love Summer and Alex's story. The playfulness, the honest emotion and intense chemistry make this book one not to miss. It's an easy and enjoyable read. I finished it in less than a day and it was even a work day! Don't miss out on this final chapter of the Bennett family!

Es ist geschafft, diese Serie ist nun beendet. (Es gibt noch einen Spinn-off-Band, den ich auch noch lesen werde.) Wir begleiten hier die jüngste der Benetts auf ihrem Weg zur großen Liebe. Zuerst konnte ich mich nicht ganz in die Geschichte reinfühlen, was sich jedoch mittendrin gebessert hat. Dennoch finde ich nicht, dass es eine so gute Idee war alle hintereinander zu lesen, so klang jedes Buch wie das vorherige und ich konnte nur noch schwer Unterschiede feststellen. Jetzt ist es jedoch geschafft und ich freue mich auf weitere tolle Bücher von dieser Autorin.

Una historia preciosa la de Alex y Summer como broche final de Los Bennet. He disfrutado muchísimo de estos 9 hermanos, cada historia tiene algo especial y en todas ellas existe una cosa en común, el amor entre hermanos y todo el amor que están dispuestos a dar a sus respectivas parejas.
No había leído antes nada de esta escritora pero sin duda, voy a seguir haciéndolo.

Das letzte Buch aus der Bennett-Reihe widmete Layla Hagen der Letztgeborenen Summer.
Auf ihre Geschichte hatte ich mich schon gefreut,
weil mir Summer mit ihrer lockeren, süßen
und oft heiteren Art sofort sehr sympathisch war.
Alle in der Familie lieben Summer,
und haben stets gut auf sie aufgepasst und für sie gesorgt.
Die Familie steht daher auch für sie an oberster Stelle.
Doch ebenso zeigt sie ihr großes, gutes Herz bei wohltätigen Zwecken.
Der Schauspieler Alex hat zumindest in seiner Karriere den Volltreffer gelandet.
Doch Ruhm und Ehre setzten nicht nur seiner Familie zu, sondern auch seinen Beziehungen.
Alex ist definitiv ein bodenständiger Mann,
charmant und absolut liebenswürdig.
Weder Summer noch Alex hatten bisher Glück in der Liebe.
Umso schöner ist es, mitzuerleben, wie sie sich näher kommen,
und wie das Vertrauen und die Liebe zwischen ihnen wächst.

So I did this backwards and this is the first book in this series I have read...and for the most part I really liked it.
1- Alex and Summer are super cute together. I love that their love was slow building in a very realistic way. Summer came across as really young in some scenes but they acted very mature in others so my criticism of her kind of cancels out. I love how independent and selfless she was and I loved how sweet and caring Alex was. I also LOVED that the author actually had the characters TALK to one another instead of the typical misunderstanding storyline that a lot of authors use ( really lazy in my opinion). Instead, she used an actual problem to throw a wrench in their lives (the press and how it affected Alex's career and in turn, his relationship with Summer).
2- I could easily see this as a Netflix RomCom (get on it Netflix!) if done right. San Francisco/Lake Tahoe are GREAT locations to film and if they get actors that are actually in their late 20's/early 30's (as opposed to making it a actor meets civilian teen drama which has been done to death and badly at that) as they are in the book I think it would be a cute little film. I don't know why but I kept picturing Shelley Hennig as Summer. I need a new romcom!
3- The ending of the book is where I get a little put off. They go from 50 to 100 REAL quick. They JUST said that they love each other and then next chapter he is proposing on live tv and proposing in person the next day. Then we flash forward to their wedding and then another flash forward to them having a kid. They main reason why I liked this book is because it seemed so real in terms of pacing...that ending, though, seems like the author really wanted to wrap it up with a neat little bow. That and (now that I think about it) the fact that the characters never fought at all. I know I know...I said that I liked that they actually talked instead of just assuming what one another was thinking/feeling...but man, I don't know one couple who doesn't at least raise their voices at one another because they left the kitchen a mess or left their towel on the floor or something. I think that's why I found the ending so unbelievable-the characters were together for less than a year before they got married and then they had a kid the following year...it's all a lot. And very much still in the honeymoon phase. I think the story could have been just as effective if they ended on them being happy as a couple in love on a vacation in Lake Tahoe...or walking a red carpet event together. The reader can come up with their own thoughts on how they end up ultimately (I am 99% sure most of us will automatically picture them getting married down the line).
4- All in all I liked the author's writing style so I will be checking out the first book in this series. =)

I cannot believe the series is over. Two years and a lot of books later we get the story of the youngest Bennett, Summer. I am not going to say a word about her character. We already know and love her. If you have no idea who she is, I would recommend to pick the first book in the series and slow become an adoptive Bennett like the rest of us. I am not sad that the series has ended. I am pretty sure I have read somewhere that we will get a Bennett spin-off, so I will get my fix there. All the siblings have their happily ever after secured and they are blissfully in love, so I am happy.
Summer and Alexander have a great story. It felt like it was a proper ending to the series. We got to see the other Bennetts without feeling like crucial moments were stolen from our couple. They took things slow and they fell for each other as much as I fell for this book. To be honest, I feel like something was missing. Like a very extended epilogue where we see all the siblings with their significant others sometime in the future, but I can almost let that go. Alex from the very first page was down to earth, not because he had hit rock bottom but because he was just a good person. He had great chemistry with Summer and their relationship worked perfectly. I didn't even doubt him in the end. I knew he wouldn't ruin the book. Summer was very understanding of all the things she had to do to handle Alex's fame. She is a great person. I wouldn't have minded if the book was longer.
Do I have to say that I recommend the book? I recommend the whole series! If this is your first book with the Bennetts you can read it without a problem since each book in the series can be read as stand alone.

I almost didn't want to read this book. Don't get me wrong, I love Layla Hagen's writings, and this series has been spectacular. I just didn't want it to end. Summer Bennett is the last single Bennett... the other eight siblings having all met and married their sweethearts. We've had office romances, second chances, long-distance relationships, each couple struggling to find a path to love.
Summer's story was a brilliant ending to this series. How would it conclude, what kind of love story was left? That was on my mind when I fired up my Kindle ready to read. It's a story about love enduring even in the rough and ruthless world of Hollywood, where stars may do more than just act on the silver screen. Alex Westbrook is a star in trouble, a relationship break-up that has soured the press and his fans. He's also lying to them and until he finds his way out of this his blossoming relationship with Summer can't continue.
This is a spectacular book to end the series. I think I know what's coming next, and we get a decent foreshadowing of that in this book. But I will be sad to wave goodbye to the Bennetts as they all disappear into their lives away from the readers. I'll miss them. Thank you Layla for creating such powerful characters.

So many emotions for the last of the Bennett’s, but it was oh so perfect in every way!

I can't believe I just read the conclusion to the Bennett family! They feel like they've been a part of my reading life for 2 years - OH WAIT! - they have been! More on this later...
I have to admit, when we are first introduced to Summer, the baby of the Bennett family, when this series began, I did not picture her with a Hollywood heartthrob. She seemed so artistic, whimsical, hopelessly romantic, free spirited, a little naive, with a dash of wanderlust- everything an A list Hollywood actor cant afford to be. What I failed to realize, is that Summer grew up throughout the series, and has 8 amazing siblings for role models. The Summer we meet is more confident, self assured, and not afraid to voice her innermost thoughts, and I LOVED every word of it.
The romance between Alex and Summer is a slow burn from the get-go. She's a little Starstruck, and she is an enigma to him. Alex has a grueling press schedule with 2 movie premiers about to occur, and is tied up in "relations" forged by studio execs. The two are able to spend some time away from the limelight and forge a more intimate bond which leaves them both wanting for more. For a romance which is constrained by so many different aspects, these two put forth the effort, which was so refreshing to read. Layla does an amazing job with character uniqueness, and once again these two were no exception.
If you've followed the Bennett family this far, the ending is very rewarding as you get to catch up with the rest of the family! I loved getting to see the big happy, albeit crazy, Bennett family all wrapped up in the best ways possible. We also get teased with the foreshadowing of the Connor family- phew- so we can all ease our anxiety of the end to the Bennett's!

Das Cover sieht wieder sehr schön aus. Ich liebe das Pink und den glitzernden Schriftzug.
Der letzte Teil der Reihe dreht sich um Summer. Sie ist die jüngste Bennett und hat in den letzten Jahren miterlebt, wie ihre Geschwister geheiratet und Familien gegründet haben. Natürlich sehnt sie sich auch nach einem Partner, aber leider hatte sie nie viel Glück in Liebesdingen. Durch ihren Bruder lernt sie den Schauspieler Alex kennen und sehr schnell sprühen die Funken zwischen den beiden. Alex lebt sein Leben aber im Rampenlicht und Summer muss schnell erkennen, dass der Glanz seine Schattenseiten birgt….
Mir hat der Einstieg sehr gut gefallen. Wir kennen Summer schon ein Weile und man wünscht ihr natürlich das gleiche Glück wie den anderen Bennetts. Sie und Alex haben eine unglaubliche Chemie, die man als Leser durch die Seiten spüren konnte. Beide Figuren waren mir sofort sympathisch und ihre Liebesbeziehung wurde sehr schön entwickelt.
Der Handlungsverlauf ist überzeugend und vor allem spannend. Das Buch ist der perfekte Abschluss der Reihe, liefert gleichzeitig aber auch noch die Möglichkeit eines Spin-Offs über die Cousins der Bennetts. Für mich waren Summer und Alex ein Traumpaar, das nochmal alle Register gezogen hat. Es war schön zu sehen wie die beiden sich näher gekommen sind. Erfrischend war auf jeden Fall, dass es kein langes Hin- und Her gab. Beide stehen zu ihren Gefühlen, und versuchen trotz der kniffeligen Situation das Beste daraus zu machen.
Absolutes Highlight war für mich Alex. Ich hatte die Befürchtung er wäre der typische Playboy-Star, jedoch zeigt sich sehr schnell, was für ein Schatz in ihm steckt. Er wünscht sich eine Familie und findet sein Leben als Schauspieler nicht immer glanzvoll. Viel lieber genießt er einen gemütlichen Nachmittag mit seiner Familie anstatt auf irgendwelche Hollywood Parties zu gehen. Er war mir extrem sympathisch und hat mir nochmal bewiesen, warum ich diese Reihe so gerne habe.
Der Schreibstil ist flüssig und locker. Ich liebe diese Reihe, da die Seiten nur so dahin fliegen und die Figuren herzlich sind. Erzählt wird abwechselnd aus Sicht von Summer und Alex, wodurch man als Leser schöne Einblicke in die Gefühlswelt der beiden erhält.
Das Ende kam leider viel zu früh und ich bin wirklich traurig. Die Bennetts sind mir sehr ans Herz gewachsen und jedes Buch war toll. Mein neuer Favorit ist aber eindeutig diese Geschichte. Summer muss man einfach lieben und Alex war der absolute Traumprinz! Die beiden haben mir sehr schöne Lesestunden bereitet und ich hoffe natürlich noch weitere Werke aus der Feder von Layla Hagen zu erhalten.
Fazit: Der letzte Teil der Bennett-Reihe hat mich nochmals komplett überzeugt. Ich liebe diese Familie und bin sehr traurig über das Ende der Reihe. Eine sehr sympathische Familie mit wunderschönen Liebesgeschichten. Summer und Alex haben meinen Favoriten Christopher vom Thron gestoßen, da die beiden einfach so toll zusammen waren. Das letzte Buch bekommt von mir volle Punktzahl, weil die Geschichte so schön war.
Der letzte Teil der Reihe dreht sich um Summer. Sie ist die jüngste Bennett und hat in den letzten Jahren miterlebt, wie ihre Geschwister geheiratet und Familien gegründet haben. Natürlich sehnt sie sich auch nach einem Partner, aber leider hatte sie nie viel Glück in Liebesdingen. Durch ihren Bruder lernt sie den Schauspieler Alex kennen und sehr schnell sprühen die Funken zwischen den beiden. Alex lebt sein Leben aber im Rampenlicht und Summer muss schnell erkennen, dass der Glanz seine Schattenseiten birgt….
Mir hat der Einstieg sehr gut gefallen. Wir kennen Summer schon ein Weile und man wünscht ihr natürlich das gleiche Glück wie den anderen Bennetts. Sie und Alex haben eine unglaubliche Chemie, die man als Leser durch die Seiten spüren konnte. Beide Figuren waren mir sofort sympathisch und ihre Liebesbeziehung wurde sehr schön entwickelt.
Der Handlungsverlauf ist überzeugend und vor allem spannend. Das Buch ist der perfekte Abschluss der Reihe, liefert gleichzeitig aber auch noch die Möglichkeit eines Spin-Offs über die Cousins der Bennetts. Für mich waren Summer und Alex ein Traumpaar, das nochmal alle Register gezogen hat. Es war schön zu sehen wie die beiden sich näher gekommen sind. Erfrischend war auf jeden Fall, dass es kein langes Hin- und Her gab. Beide stehen zu ihren Gefühlen, und versuchen trotz der kniffeligen Situation das Beste daraus zu machen.
Absolutes Highlight war für mich Alex. Ich hatte die Befürchtung er wäre der typische Playboy-Star, jedoch zeigt sich sehr schnell, was für ein Schatz in ihm steckt. Er wünscht sich eine Familie und findet sein Leben als Schauspieler nicht immer glanzvoll. Viel lieber genießt er einen gemütlichen Nachmittag mit seiner Familie anstatt auf irgendwelche Hollywood Parties zu gehen. Er war mir extrem sympathisch und hat mir nochmal bewiesen, warum ich diese Reihe so gerne habe.
Der Schreibstil ist flüssig und locker. Ich liebe diese Reihe, da die Seiten nur so dahin fliegen und die Figuren herzlich sind. Erzählt wird abwechselnd aus Sicht von Summer und Alex, wodurch man als Leser schöne Einblicke in die Gefühlswelt der beiden erhält.
Das Ende kam leider viel zu früh und ich bin wirklich traurig. Die Bennetts sind mir sehr ans Herz gewachsen und jedes Buch war toll. Mein neuer Favorit ist aber eindeutig diese Geschichte. Summer muss man einfach lieben und Alex war der absolute Traumprinz! Die beiden haben mir sehr schöne Lesestunden bereitet und ich hoffe natürlich noch weitere Werke aus der Feder von Layla Hagen zu erhalten.

I swear every stand-alone book in this series is as good as the previous one. Alex and Summer are a gorgeous couple and I fell in love so easily with them!
It's hard to say goodbye to the Bennet family, but this story is a bittersweet way to do it and thoroughly satisfying. The dialogues are delicious and hilarious, as creative as the sense of humour that marks this author's style. I love it and enjoy it immensely. Always look forward to one of her beautiful, emotional romances.
Alex and Summer are great characters. He's the film superstar that oozes as much sex appeal and charm as he attracts unwanted media attention. That proves to be a hurdle in his blossoming relationship with Summer, the youngest in the Bennet clan. I admired his strength of character and his honesty, and loved Summer's generous, happy spirit. Both have their insecurities which make them so approachable and real. How these work together to heighten the plot is wonderfully engaging. And the love they finally find in each other is inspiring.
I truly cherished their times together, both as two people falling in love and showing how deeply they care for each other, and as two lovers who indulge in breathtaking hot times. The author has a knack for that! ;-)

I can't believe the series is over and this is perfect conclusion I might add. It's the youngest Bennett's turn, Summer is pretty nuch how she is in the other books. Mischievous, bubbly and giving. While I was wary of the celebrity trope and I wasn't expecting that for her I was eager to see how Layla Hagen would spin this.
It's Summer's turn to fall as the last Bennett standing. This was pretty cute and flirty also heartwarming as we say goodbye to a loved family. While I liked the meet cute between Summer and Alex, also Alex is a hottie so the hidden cruah factor seems normal. Our hero isn't in a place to get into a relationship even though there is mutual interest. But for some reason they couldn't wait and had to take the plunge.
I felt like that could have been timed better for them especially with Alex restricted dating as per Hollywood. But sometimes unavoidable but it's part of the drama for this. I like them together though it felt normal and easy going. They were a good match and fit well. I like how they overcame their issues. The author did good adding that pretty touching epilogue as well that sums up everything to love about the series.
Can't wait to see what the author has in store next.

In diesem Band handelt es sich um das jüngste Bennett Mitglied Summer. Sie ist gleichzeitig auch mein Lieblingscharakter. Irgendwie ist der letzte auch mein Lieblingsteil. Denn sie verliebt sich ungeplant in einen berühmten Hollywoodschauspieler, der auch absolut sympathisch ist.
Die Familie ist jetzt über neun Bände ganz schön gewachsen. Viele Mitglieder haben viel Nachwuchs bekommen. Und es ist toll das von Band zu Band zu beobachten und zu sehen, wie es den anderen Protagonisten, die wir schon kennenlernen durften, ergeht.
Ansonsten ist die Geschichte wieder locker und leicht, ohne unnötige Dramen und schnell gelesen. Wie immer hat mich auch hier der hohe Erotikanteil gestört.
Alles in allem war das aber ein schöner Abschluss der Reihe und vielleicht lesen wir mal wieder von den Cousins, Cousinen, Kindern etc. Potenzial wäre auf jeden Fall da.

All of the Bennetts have found love! I'm so happy and sad at the same time (although do I smell a continuation with the Collins cousins?) Summer has been a dear friend through the rest of the series. Her love, Alex was a good guy, even when you worry that he's going to make the wrong decision. The story is full of swoon-worthy moments and heat. A perfect story for the youngest Bennett.

Nine siblings’ stories. Everyone got their own problems and difficult to growth up, deal with their life, families, career but they are family.
I love reading siblings’ stories, esp protective brothers with well comfort sisterhood.
Nine then became twenty with the kids not maybe 30+,it’s a nice time with the whole clan,now move to Connor clan.
