This is book 10 in the Danger Incorporated series. On Goodreads, the series listing is book 9.
Life can change in an instant.
No one knows this better than Liz Holden. After only night with Noah Anderson, her world changed forever. Sadly, their relationship never stood a chance. The next morning they said their goodbyes and never looked back. Okay, maybe she looked back a few times. A few hundred times, that is.
Noah Anderson can’t get the sultry beauty he met in a Chicago hotel bar out of mind. Since then, no other woman has ever measured up. He doesn’t want to admit it, but there are nights when he can’t sleep. He still continues to wonder where she is and what she’s doing. That’s crazy, right? It was only one night out of his life.
And then just like that, fate has brought them together again.
Noah didn’t see that fateful moment coming, but he can’t say that he’s not glad about it. A second chance with Liz is what he’s been wanting ever since they parted ways. He never thought he’d have to fight so hard for it, though. Danger lurks in Liz’s past, and someone wants a deadly revenge. Can he keep her safe from harm long enough for them to finally find their happily ever after?

🏦🧳I can't believe I'm saying this but I got the connection between them. It didn't feel over-fetched to my cynic soul. (After thought - I even felt more connection here between them thn the whole book)
🏦🧳Noah you dumbass, that's not acting strange it's change the subject warning.😆
🏦🧳"As usual, the females disappeared into the kitchen while the men sat in the living room and talked" *cringe*
🏦🧳An author can make us connect or loose. In this case the author is doing a spectacular job of connecting me. Cause in short form I'm a very cynic person and from the blurb I was not expecting much cause one night stand insta love, hostage for few hours is not something drastic in my books (I'm sorry but I read Karen rose's book). But the author made me see the spark between them on their first meeting and the way Liz is describing her ordeal is making me very understanding.
🏦🧳I'm so grateful for Liz's character. This is a strong minded character who is confident, survived a horrific incident, tried to live a normal life, dated again, doesn't have one night stand but did it when she wanted to without overthinking it, loves makeups and pamper herself, speak facts and self aware. These days so many authors try to make their hs like they're different from other girls like oh no they hate dressing up cause "natural beauty" you know, trusts easily, she's not like other girls she's a sunshiny bubbly blubbering mess of a character who everyone should find cute and not like a 5year old child.
🏦🧳Ok now they're just forcing fUn conversations.
🏦🧳When a women says "can we talk about this later, I'm not feeling well" Do so. Otherwise things will get out of hand. Honestly I didn't understand why Noah was pushing the conversation when Liz clearly at least 10times said that she's tired and just wanna sleep?
🏦🧳"To be honest, if it were any other woman but Liz Noah would be gone. Out of there. He'd be giving them the old, "It's not you, it's me."." I really don't know how I feel about this thought of Noah's. It shows that he's actually losing patients with Liz's issues just after few weeks. And he was pressuring her indirectly to just get better cause he's with her and Kenneth is dead. He needed a whopping for that which never came.
🏦🧳What was that at the end? I live in a third world country and even we don't risk homebirths anymore! Poor Dizzy.

The love story of Liz and Noah. Liz and Noah met two years ago and a great one night but the next day she was in a bank robbery and her life change forever. Now she is in Tremont for the wedding of Carter and Mallory. Can love between Liz and Noah glorious again. Great story, hope this is not the end.
3.25 Stars. It’s finally time for the oldest Anderson brother to find romance. Noah takes an unorthodox path to love. It’s two years before he sees the lady of his dreams again and during that time he often relives their steamy night together in a Chicago hotel. Then fate steps in, and literally brings Libby to his front door two years later. Noah can’t believe he has a possible second chance with Libby, but he feels something is different about her. For starters, she is now going by the name Liz. What I liked about Noah and Liz, besides their sizzling chemistry, was the way they communicated like true adults. When they disagreed, they discussed the issue. No unnecessary drama, which was good, as Liz had experienced enough drama for a lifetime. Olivia Jaymes is a talented author, so I was disappointed in a major flaw in this storyline. Liz didn’t put together that her Noah from Chicago could be the Noah her friend Mallory mentioned in passing. That would certainly be understandable, if Mallory didn’t live in the very small town of Tremont, Montana. Noah told Libby where he was from the first night they met. It would have had to cross Liz’s mind her friend might actually know her Noah. How many men can there be named Noah in a small town like Tremont? Even though I liked the book and enjoyed catching up with past characters, I just couldn’t give this book a higher rating.

On a business trip in Chicago, Noah Anderson was debating between having another beer and a meal in the bar or in his room when Libby Holden entered laughing with a friend. Her laugh tickles Noah to his toes so he orders and smiles that he can see Libby from the corner of his eye. Minutes later, Libby’s at Noah’s side introducing herself.
Hours of talking, hand-holding and drinking leads to an unforgettable night of bliss for them both. But Noah and Libby agree they met at the wrong time and in the wrong place and don’t exchange numbers resigned to never seeing each other again.
Imagine their mutual shock when two years later, Libby’s become Liz and she’s in town to be a maid of honor in Noah’s brother’s wedding, she was college roommates with the bride. Time’s done nothing to diminish Noah or Liz’s feelings but the years have brought changes Liz isn’t quite how to tell Noah. And he’s not sure how to accept them. Rating: 4.25stars
This book has good characters and a very good storyline it was a little slow at times but the content was good .Noah was on business in Chicago when he met a woman in a bar that had a profound effect upon him they had a stunning one night stand but never stopped details. Two years later they meet again when she comes to assist in her friend Mallory's wedding who is marrying Noah's brother Carter. Both are surprised and quickly feel that same attraction again however Liz has suffered an extremely traumatic event since they last met and is basically suffering from ptsd her life was dramatically changed and she is not the same person but Noah is determined to be there for her. Events from the past come to haunt her but these two come through all the hassle and love wins the day. A good story that covers some difficult issues with care and respect.
Noah and Libby had one night to make it count. Can one night change everything?
Two years later, Liz was on her way to a friend’s wedding. Who does Liz (AKA Libby) run into? Noah!
It would seem that this might be their second chance, but something happened to Liz that made her…cautious. But what? Liz was a mess—always scared and nervous about the world. Now Noah had to make her see that life was worth living again…with him.
A compelling read for the most part. All the wedding and bachelor party stuff wasn’t very interesting. There’s no real danger in the story, so I’m not sure what the book was called “Dancing with Danger.” The only “danger” is the emotional stuff that Liz makes up in her head.
Still, it’s a nice romance with some good love scenes.
Noah was in Chicago on business when he met the most amazing woman ever only to lose her the next day when she left to go home to Denver. For two years he couldn't get her out of his mind, so imagine the shock both of them felt when she accidentally ended up on his doorstep in Montana. Liz was lost trying to find her friend's house. Seems her friend was to marry Noah's brother. Could Liz find a way to let Noah know what had happened to her two years ago? Noah is beside himself wanting to take up where they left off in Chicago and actually see where they could go.
Totally loved Noah's story. Well worth the wait. I enjoyed how we saw him grow and accept things he couldn't change for his love. Plus, all the wonderful updates, weddings and births. Hoping for more in the future. Great series.
Aww I just loved Noah and Liz's story. Her fear from past trauma felt so real and her strength in the face of danger was awesome. Absolutely brilliant series.
Second chance romance. Liz and Noah meet and their chemistry is explosive. Things go sideways in a spectacularly awful way for Liz. Fate brings them together again but can they rekindle their passion and more? Noah is bewildered and angry after running into a very different Liz but realizes she is it for him. Liz is struggling to find herself and her unexpected reunion with Noah forces her to confront her past once and for all. Fortunately she has Noah and the rest of the Anderson clan behind her when her pasts threatens their future. As a bonus, all the Anderson couples make appearances - and yes you should read this series in order although each book is a standalone romance, you won't regret it.
Noah and Libby met at a bar in Chicago. Noah's there on business regarding his family's ranch and Libby is looking into opportunities to advance her career. The night flies by, as they get better acquainted, and Noah is definitely interested in learning more about Libby. Libby feels the same, but she lives in Colorado and Noah lives in Montana and a long distance relationship is not what they are cracked up to be. They realize they only have one night. One night of hot, uninhibited sex. That's all they could offer each other. That would be enough. Then they'd go their separate ways, despite the intense connection they had both felt. A couple years pass and neither expected what was about to happen. Libby, who now goes by Liz, finds herself in Montana. She never expected to see Noah. A lot has changed since that night two years ago. One thing that never changed was Noah's feelings for Liz, but apparently Liz wasn't feeling the same. Noah would soon learn why Liz was acting so indifferent. In the years they had been apart, Liz was dealing with some memories from a situation she had no control over and she was trying her best to deal with that. With Noah's help, Liz was becoming stronger, but danger wasn't as far behind as they assumed. INTRIGUING, SECOND CHANCE STORYLINE WHERE THE CHARACTERS DECIDED TO SETTLE FOR LESS, BUT FATE NEVER GAVE UP ON THEM HAVING MORE ! EMOTIONAL, RAW AND REAL ! A DEFINITE ONE-CLICK ! ! !
Noah and Libby meet in the hotel they are staying at in Chicago. Sparks fly, hours of conversation take place. Libby lives in Denver but is interviewing for a job in Chicago. Noah lives in Montana. After a night of passion and the admittance that the timing is all wrong they part.
Little brother Carter and Mallory are getting married. Mallory’s three college roommates and BFF’s are headed to Montana. Liz gets lost trying to find Carter’s place. She finds the house, knocks on the door and instead of Mallory she is greeted by Noah. Libby is now Liz and has gone through a life changing event. While shocked and thrilled to see Noah she isn’t Libby anymore.
We learn that the day Liz left Noah she returns to Denver and that afternoon her bank was robbed. She was held at gun point for hours and would likely die. That attraction, chemistry is still there. The Libby before is buried deep but she is still there too. Liz however carries enough arsenals for a small town and refuses to be a victim again. While the love grows between these two Noah wants to “fix” Liz. Jason’s talk with Noah about how Liz feels is great insight to Jason. Someone is stalking Liz during the week of the wedding.
Just when I thought this series would be over we meet some Anderson cousins from Florida. These Montana Anderson’s are all living happily ever after.
I have truly enjoyed this series along with the Cowboy Justice series. This is Noah’s story, the last Anderson to fall. Dancing With Danger is a great second chance romance with passion and a side of danger. I hope we get more in this series.
I have read the entire series and loved it, this just too slow and dry. I stopped and started several times made it to 48% and feel asleep. Dont know when it picked up but i returned it unfinished.
I love this series and was so excited to see a new installment! I always love second chance romances, and this was great. It felt like a unique take on a popular trope. I really liked Liz and Noah. The twists at the end were interesting and not something I saw coming. Can't wait for more!
It has been a while since I have done a review , I do give the stars tho!! Anyway I loved this one, it was perfect! Olivia Jaymes books always a must read!!
Loved this, what an amazing second chance for Noah and Liz. Loved the added plot twists and suspense. I love how much love those Anderson men have and how protective they are.
