After the tragic loss of her Mother, nineteen-year-old Billie Gladstone finds herself in the small town of Blackwick Falls. She was raised thinking she and her mother were all alone in the world. That couldn’t be farther from the truth. Quickly Billie is thrown into a whole new world that she never could have imagined existed. Billie never believed in witches or magic. So, who was this new rich family? How did they know about her? Why are they telling her she is a witch? Why did her mother never tell her about them? Everyone starts to act strange soon after she arrives, little does she know their actions will change her forever.

VERY. GOOD. BOOK. Purchased this book because i follow the author on tiktok and love her personality and wanted to see her writing style. Was NOT disapointed. I sure hope that she writes a sequel to this wonderful story. Witches is not my usual reading category, but this book definitely opened my mind to the possibility of reading more books of this style in the future. Will definitely be recommending this read to friends and family.
Really enjoyed this book. I follow Celina Myers on social media. I finished Blackwick Falls quite quickly. A real page turner. I cant wait to start her other 2 books.
I bought this book because of the hype on TikTok. Don't get me wrong, it's a compelling story about witchcraft and ancestral secrets, a page turner, but the plot moves SO quickly and the characters are written without much detail that it feels like young-teen fiction. Pretty good for a night in, but not really as good as I would have hoped.
This read like the screenplay for a TV show or movie. I would totally watch this! I really enjoyed it, and I liked how many layers were going on. Character development of Liza and Alice will done despite their secondary roles. Would absolutely read a sequel.
Not my normal choice in books, thanks to booktok making me expand my horizons. I loved it though. The book is personable which is odd but made me feel so very connected to it and the characters.

*the ability to describe ungrateful customers with perfect precision. Treated less than human is so very accurate, and sad.
The easy back and forth conversation with Billie and her mom makes my heart clench and ache with grief. I miss these easy moments. So simple yet...
The detail of grief and loss is something only someone who has experienced it could describe in such heart wrenching detail.
The beautiful B &B is a vision. Great detail layered so it isn't to much but give a full visualization.
Wishing i could use a delicious spell to make my kids eat any food. 😅 should would be handy.
This book had me enthralled from the beginning. Maybe it's because I literally found this book only one week after my grandmother passed whose name was Martha. The main character had the same thoughts and feelings I did, as I was going through them. Until Billie over course found out who Martha really was.
I liked how fast paced it is. It doesn't drag. It doesn't explain things in to much detail, but enough for you to imagine it. And there were heartfelt moments and advice, even if it was coming from the "villians" of the story.
This book completely pulled me in. The atmosphere is dark and heavy with secrets, and Blackwick Falls feels like a place you can’t escape once you’re there. The characters are layered and compelling, adding depth and emotional weight that really enhances the story without ever pulling focus from the horror. The blend of witchy magic, small-town tension, and creeping dread kept me hooked, and I found myself thinking about it long after I finished. Creepy, immersive, and incredibly well done — an outstanding read. Hopefully there is a sequel in the future!
Want to give it 3.5 stars. It's a good book. This is a book that I wanted to throw across the room. Lol. It pissed me off the way it ended and there is no part 2 (that I know of). I NEED A PART 2!! LOL! Would recommend for someone to read if you like witches & a story line of someone losing a parent and then finding out they have a whole family they never knew existed.

Another great short but spooky read for Halloween by Celina! It’s a little bit longer than The Haunting of Clandestine House, but definitely worth the read. I loved the fast paced nature of the story and how exciting and mysterious it is. The cliffhanger ending is 👌It makes me want more, but also makes a nice finish to the story.
i REALLY loved the premise of this book. i love a good witch story and this one was a well thought out, engaging story. however… THATS how it ended?? maybe i missed something but.. how is Joel back? (also love how celina used her families names, very sweet). i was hoping for a little more. i did really like it though. just the ending was a littllleeee abrupt.

I almost DNFd this one, but the story had me interested juuuust enough. It lacked in organization, but I almost appreciated the simplicity as someone who's not normally a fantasy reader. The lack of editing also contributed to the 2 star rating, as the spelling (Lisa for Liza, your for you're..) got a bit annoying as did the grammar mistakes.
Disappointed to give this a low rating but it was very…simple. An easy jr high read, spelling, grammatical and editing errors. A fun enough read, hence the 3 instead of a 2, but overall okay.
Also is this part of a series? Because if not that ending makes NO SENSE.
An absolutely lovely quick read. Celina spared no details, and her descriptions of the world and people therein were so defined, I had no trouble clearly picturing everything she said in my mind's eye. Perfectly suspenseful, with an ending you're sure to love. A big win, in my book!
I enjoyed this book, there was more story development than in The Haunting of Clandestine House but there could have been more. There were also spelling errors in this book. I think Myers needs to find a better publisher.
Once I fully got into the book, it was a complete page turner! I couldn't stop thinking about what was going on and what was going to happen! I couldn't put it down!
