I'm a mom of four, Air Force wife, and author of adult and young adult dystopian, post-apocalyptic, and science fiction. I love intense world building and character driven stories that feature strong female leads - as well as a side of romance - and any end of the world scenario. Zombies, aliens, a distant future where people have no clue how the world ended in the first place, you name it, I will create a story there!

Having lived in a lot of different places after more than a decade as an Air Force wife, I love setting my books in cities I've actually lived in to give them authenticity. I've resided in: Indiana, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, California, and Oklahoma but am currently back in my home state of Ohio where I live with my husband, four kids, two dogs, and three cats.

When I'm not writing, you can find me by my pool (in the summer), getting lost in some binge-worthy show or at a play with my husband, patronizing one of the great restaurants in my small town of Troy, Ohio with my family, or traveling. I want to see everything and make a point of visiting a new place every year!

Some of my favorite books are The Hunger Games, Pride and Prejudice, The Host, and The Stand. My favorite movies are Aliens, Jaws, Signs, Say Anything, Everything Everywhere All At Once, and The Greatest Showman.

"Promise me you'll be crazy and wild and impulsive and you won't just sit back and let everything pass you...I want to be sure we don't have a single regret when we get old. Zero."

"I promise to be crazy and not settle down until I'm at least a hundred years old. And have no regrets."

This promise would change everything for Cami, especially after the moment she went off to college. She took it by heart and tried to be the crazy girl she had promised to be. A promise she gave to her best friend, when they were both fifteen.

Cami meets Liam, her cousin's roomate and they start flirting from the very first moment they meet. But even though Liam was exactly what she needed, just someone to have fun with temporary, he decides to turn a new leaf and become more serious with girls, something that is against her plans for college and more importantly against the promise she gave to her best friend, Julie. But is that promise important enough to waste a good opportunity of being with the hot british lad, Liam?

I wanted to think that if I went out with Liam it wasn’t betraying Julie. I wanted to feel that I was free. That I didn’t owe her every second of my life. But I couldn’t.

I'm sorry to say that I didn't like this book as much as I wanted to. I had loved these characters when I read the first book in the series and I was really excited to read their story, but this book was just a big bummer for me.

First of all, I didn't expect that this book would follow the same timeline as the first one. It was basically the same events, same discussions when others were involved in the scenes. If I had read it more recently, it would be more or less a repeat, but from a different POV and I didn't like that.

I was dying to read Liam's POV, but sadly it was only Cami's and in this book, I didn't like Cami at all. I felt sorry for her at times, but mostly I couldn't stand her. Not only she appears to be a shitty friend when it comes to Annie, but her actions didn't make sense. She was reckless, stupid, completely selfish and she was just pissing me off. Plus, what I couldn't understand was that she was making all those crazy actions, because of her guilt, but she was putting in danger her friend and that just didn't make sense at all. She didn't care about her, she wasn't paying attention to her. I believe that if I was having guilt about something like her case, I would be extra careful and overprotective of my friends, not the other way around, because, in my opinion, she was pushing her to the edge of the cliff.

As for Liam, he was really amazing, sweet, lovely, flirty, hot! But still, I expected their story to be completely different and the characters .. I expected them to be different and it was like reading about entirely different characters. I felt like I didn't sign up for this. So yes, I was disappointed. My mind had shaped another picture for them, after the first book and here they surprised me.

However, I can't help but give credit to the author, who has really great writing skills and because of them I kept reading. Because I dragged this book and I wanted to quit it many times. Which isn't a good sign. But maybe that was just me. Unpopular opinion and all that jazz. Hopefully my friends will like this more than me, if they give it a chance :)

PS1: I don't know if I'm going to read the next book in the series, although I wanted to finally read Chris getting his HEA, but if it's also in the same timeline, I don't think I will.

PS2: I have to admit that apart from Liam, I really liked Mike as a character. I felt for his story and I would be interested in reading more about him, in the future.

***2,75 "angry & full of REGRETS" stars from me***

I have to admit that i have higher expactations about this book, since Annie's book and the love triangle in there frustrated me as hell, but i was waiting with so much agony Cami's turn!!!

Cami who was always crazy and so funny and i wanted so badly to see her with that British sexy mate, Liam!!!
I could swear to you that in my mind the complications would be from Liam's womanizer ways. But no...
Cami put all the blame upon her own shoulders and at the end i really didn't know if i liked her anymore... and i'm really sorry about that!!!

First of all, i didn't like the fact that this book was following the same storyline/timeline with the previous book. Most of the time, i thought that i was reading the same book, but from different POV and i didn't like it at all!!!

Thank God, that Cami was so caught up in her own drama that she didn't realize what was happening around her with Annie, Ryan and Chris... so we didn't have to witness everything from the beginning...
But let me tell you some things for her own drama...

"Promise me you'll be crazy and wild and impulsive and you won't just sit back and let everything pass you by... I want to be sure we don't have a single regret when we get old. Zero."
"Fine... I promise to be crazy and not settle down until I'm at least a hundred years old."
"And have no regrets," Julie said in her most serious tone.
"And have no regrets."

Cami before some years had promise to her best friend that she will live her life to the fullest with no regrets and since now is her first year in college and since Julie is not around anymore, she wants to keep that promise. So that's why she is acting a little bit wild and many times she is drowning with her Annie too.

Her only soft spot in her plan is Ryan's roommate, Liam. But Cami is determined to win him over!!!
But there are complication with that goal.
She liked him too much for him to fit in her plans.
But she wants to have a night with him. After all he is a manwhore... It can't be so difficult!!!

"You have your list and i have mine."
Annie's eyebrows shot up. "What's on your list?"
"Liam."

Liam as i told you before was sexy, funny, with British accent. Just wow!!!
And yep, he liked women and he liked Cami... a lot!!!
Even though she was bubbling all the time and she was acting a little bit crazy.

But she is her mate's cousin, so he had to keep his distance. But he can't really do it and that is changing Cami's plan.... Why is happening that???
Liam is trying to change. He want to be committed to Cami and to be with her for real...
But that is not even possible to Cami's plans.

So what will happen next???
Will Cami change her crazy plans???
And if she is not, she will end up to have any regrets for letting Liam leave???
Or if she will be with him, she will feel like she was betraying her friend's wishes???

As i told you before, i liked Cami very much, but because of the promise to her friend who wasn't around anymore, she was doing crazy, reckless, dangerous and idiotic things and i didn't enjoyed her attitude at all.

I understand that she felt guilty about Julie and that she wanted to do something that would keep her connected with Julie, but all this things were almost stupid and at the end, they were mistakes that only regrets could bring.
And she really liked Liam but she was pulling him away for the wrong reasons...

I really liked Liam and i liked that he was so stable and so real...
But Cami pissed me off and i need some time to get over it!!! And i'm so sorry about that!!!

And now, i really want to read Chris's book, but god, i hope we don't follow the same timeline... I don't thing that i will survive it!!! I need to move forward and i need to see Ryan and Chris to rebuilt their lost friendship!!!

NO REGRETS is the fourth distinct work of Kate L. Mary's I've read, including the first book in the series (THE LIST), and I'm a huge fan. I've learned I can always expect voicey and complicated characters, strong and sex-positive women, and a fast-paced read when I pick up one of Mary's books. And NO REGRETS did not disappoint.

In THE LIST, we saw Annie and Ryan get together, while Annie's roommate Cami casually dated Ryan's roommate Liam. Now, Cami and Liam get to tell their story.

Cami is an outgoing college freshman with a self-diagnosis of "verbal diarrhea." She once promised her best friend Julie that she would go crazy in college and not settle down with any man. Cami and Julie also made a pact to live life with no regrets. But that was before Julie was killed in a drunk driving accident. Not only does Cami feel partially responsible for Julie's death, but she feels obligated to live up to her promise not to fall in love. However, this becomes a challenge when she meets her brother/cousin Ryan's roommate, Liam, and finds herself falling for him.

One of the things I enjoyed the most about this book was that we get to see what really happened between Cami and Liam - and it's a lot more complicated than the glimpse we got in THE LIST. We also get to see a little of Annie and Ryan's relationship unfolding, but through Cami's eyes (I still feel bad for Chris, and am looking forward to the third book in this series MOVING ON, where he will finally get a happy ending!).

I also loved that NO REGRETS depicted psychotherapy and grief in a realistic and positive light.

Also I love Liam! And he's British :D!!!

I highly recommend this series, and I look forward to reading more from Kate L. Mary!

I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Let me be clear here. I have read he List (book #1 in the Charleston series) and I was so excited when I got offered this book for a review that I have put all the other books I'm currently reading on hold to read this bad boy. Kate L. Mary did not disappoint on one hand I loved getting a different perspective on the Buttercup-Ryan romance (which I am such a big fun of) and on another I was stoked to find a whole new view on Cami and her love story with Liam which in the first book seemed oh so simple and straightforward but actually was quite complicated and heart wrenching at times. I'll just come out and say it- there were moments my eyes got watery.
I really enjoyed reading this book, it can be read as a standalone but I think knowing the other side of the story makes it so much more jaw dropping!
Can't wait for book#3
Keep em coming Kate!

For the longest time this was my least favorite book that I'd written, but upon getting my rights back, I picked it up and read it again. I was pleasantly surprised! I think the stress of writing under a deadline for the first time warped my opinion of this book, because I really enjoyed it. No it isn't where my passion lies - I prefer writing apocalyptic fiction - but I still loved the characters and the problems surrounding them, and their imperfect (sometimes near-disastrous) ways of trying to resolve them.

New perspective of this book combined with an amazing new cover. What could be better?

I received an ARC via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. This was a profound, heart wrenching story that takes you into the intimate world of innocence, betrayal, guilt, first love and profound loss. Cami is starting college without the one person who has been her other half for most of her life. She is bound and determine to live the college experience with complete abandon for both of them. Her plan soon unravels when she becomes acquainted with a sexy Brit named Liam who has her wanting to settle down before college even gets started. She is at odds with what she wants and promises made between two 15 year old girls. Can she have the best of both worlds?

As soon as I started reading, I did not care for Cami. She was selfish, conceited, and extremely self involved. Even as the story progressed, I felt that my assessment of this character was spot on. I felt sympathy for what she had gone through, although I still found myself feeling more for Liam than Cami. Liam was sexy in a tousled little boy way and I immediately fell in love. It wasn't until towards the end that I was cheering for Cami and Liam.

The author did an amazing job of writing a story that tugs at my heart strings even if you do not bond with all the characters. This was the first book that I have read by Kate L. Mary and I enjoyed this book so much that I plan on reading List the first one in the series. They are stand alone novels but this author is so good that I do not want to miss out. I highly recommend!

No Regrets (College of Charleston, #2) by Kate L. Mary BY Kate L. Mary

Really enjoyed this book. So much so that I will be purchasing the prior book in this series called College Of Charleston The List (College of Charleston, #1) by Kate L. Mary . Specially since I of course was intrigued by Annie story. Any ways in this story you meet Cami who is ready to just have fun and really enjoy all that life has to offer as a college student but also has a lot of underlying guilt and then we also have Liam who is the English hotty. (Did i mention that you had me at British Hotty?!) I have a certain weakness to accents and when i read that in the little summary I was hooked lined & sinker. I was extremely happy with this book. Definitely a lot of character growth from both Cami & Liams side and a lot of emotional things more so from Cami's side. I know what guilt from a friend situation can be like specially a friend who you consider your Best Friend so reading that hit really close to home. It was beautiful and can't wait to read the next one in this series. Of course I am looking forward to Chris's story. If there is an ARC I would absolutely love it!!! Thank for you the opportunity to read this story.

My Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.

Disclaimers: I received a copy of this novel from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion. I was not obligated to write a good review nor did I receive any compensation for writing this review.

Why did I decide to turn the pages? I thought the synopsis sounded intriguing.

My Overall Thoughts/Impressions: This book wasn't anything like I thought it would be. Cami isn't your average, wild teenager. She just wants to be that way. Her friend left her a list that she always wanted to complete before she died, and Cami's determined to do things on that list...everything on the list.

The book is obviously about the attraction between Liam and Cami, and how much she tries to fight it.

That's pretty much all the book is about, which did make for an enjoyable read, but it also meant that this book didn't stand out in any dramatic fashion.

It was a fun, quick read that met my expectations.

Major Strengths: It was quick and fun.

Major Weaknesses: Predictable and it wasn't exactly deep.

So why 3 stars?

Can I read the series out of order? I did. I'm not actually sure I even realized this was a series.

Warnings/Side-notes: 17+ for mature sexual scenes.

The Wrap-up: A fun, enjoyable read.

I got this audiobook via promo code at my request and this is my honest review.

This is book 2 in the College of Charleston series following Annie's roommate Cami and her growing relationship with her cousin Ryan's roommate Liam. This series is a master class in the truth about perception vs reality. In Book 1, Cami comes across as this super bubbly always happy "live life to the fullest" wild card out to help Annie tick off the goals on her Teenage Bucket list, she always seemed so together from Annie's perspective but as we learn here following her own journey, shes riddled with anxiety, and guilt and most of that shine, is bravado, trying to live out her life with no regrets because of her friend Julie. That live fast die hard attitude is what has her reluctant to explore her connection with Liam, even though she really wants a chance at love with him. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the REAL Cami in this book.

Artie Rose did a great job narrating.

No Regrets (College of Charleston #2) was another good read by Kate L. Mary. Cami seems like the average wild girl looking to have a good time, but inside she's a mess. Her best friend was in a car accident almost a year ago, this was an accident that Cami feels responsible for. She's made it her mission to experience everything life has to offer. She meets Liam, her cousin's roommate. She wants to hook up with him, but he's looking to turn a new leaf. But she never thought she'd catch feelings for him. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

Title: No Regrets
Author: Kate L. Mary
Rating: 3.5/5

Thanks to NetGalley and Kensington Books for letting me receive a digital copy of this book before the official release date.

When they were kids, Cami promised her best friend, Julie, not to let life pass her by. But on Cami's 18th birthday, life hit her head-on, and a devastating car crash left Julie in a coma. Cami blames herself. She should have been focused on the people who mattered most to her, not the hot guy from out of town...

Now a college freshman, Cami comes face-to-face with Liam, the handsome British boy who had captured all of her attention on that fateful evening. She tries to avoid him by dating other guys, but the heat between them makes him impossible to ignore. Can Cami admit to her feelings or will she back out on her promise to Julie by letting her future slip through her fingers?

Where to begin?! Uhm... This is kinda difficult for me and I have no clue why. Let me start by saying that I enjoyed the book, though I couldn't stand the main character Cami. Her best friend has been declared as brain dead after an accident. She blames herself and her best friend's mother does as well, which doesn't make the whole thing any easier on Cami. I could relate to that part of Cami - the weak side, the part written to make us see she's just a human and not some heartless girl.

Heartless girl... Yeah, that's what I thought the second I started reading this book. I could not stand Cami. She seemed to be a selfish college student, some party girl that I wasn't interested in finding out about. Luckily, Ryan and Annie appeared soon and I was rescued by these wonderful characters. Seriously, I loved them so much, I probably would have had a much harder time with this book, if they hadn't been included.

Ryan is Cami's cousin and Annie is her roommate at college, a shy girl. The relationship between Cami and her cousin is more like a brother-sister-relationship. I liked their conversations very much. When Annie first appears in No Regrets, you get a real good view of her and Cami as well, let me tell you. Her way of describing her roommate... Well, it's what had me believing she's selfish and not a good friend. To be it seemed like she wanted Annie to turn into a second Julie and I felt so sorry for Annie for not knowing about it. She didn't seem like a friend and turned Annie into her private experiment.

I totally understood the pain Cami had to have felt and I think the letters she wrote to her former best friend and also the thoughts she had were really well-written. I would have liked to read more about Cami's way of trying to cope with it, not just trying to keep the promise she and Julie made when they were younger.

And then there is Liam. No new adult book without a hot guy, and it's a plus if he's British, yummy. Seriously, what is it with us girls and British guys?! No need to mention that I liked him, it's obvious. He, no matter how much he tried to be a bad guy, was the one who made us see a different side of Cami, the caring and loving one.

So, I really liked No Regrets and the scenes, the conversations. My review might give you a different picture, but that's not true, otherwise I wouldn't have rated it the way I did. Next thing I'll do is search for a book about Ryan or Annie, though I fear there isn't one, but I know that one would be one of my very favourites, so I still hope for one. I didn't like Cami, I'm sorry. I can repeat that a million times, but it won't change a thing. Maybe it's because I know I wouldn't be able to be friends with a girl like her in real life either and I wonder how Annie and she got along so well.

I recommend this book if you're looking for a book about loss and friendship without having to grab for a tissue too many times and focus on the good things in life, still. I'm sorry (again, I say that far too many times, I guess haha) if this review isn't what you expected and a little thin on information.

Note: This ARC was provided by Kensington Books in exchange for an honest review.

No Regrets is the second book in the new adult (NA) series from author Kate L. Mary entitled College of Charleston and is told along the same timeline as the first book, The List. Cami Summers is an eighteen-year-old college freshman who is up for almost anything and everything and does it all without regret, or so she promised her best friend who lies motionless in a hospital bed after being in a car accident. When Cami meets Liam, whose last name I tried looking for in both books but couldn't find, what begins as a mutually physical attraction develops over the next few weeks and months into something more for both.

I really enjoyed the first book in the series, so my expectations for this one were rather high. While I did like finally learning about Cami and whether or not she and Liam would end up together, I found myself becoming increasingly irked by her behavior in the book. I understand that she made this promise to her best friend and that this was her reasoning behind all the reckless stuff she did and pulled, but I couldn't help but wonder how true that really was or if she was merely using her best friend as her scapegoat. Her treatment of Liam and her roommate Annie Roth was disappointing and made her look so self-centered.

Cami had some good moments, especially when it came to trying to help Annie out of her shell and the closeness she had with her cousin Ryan Cole. She also seemed perfectly at ease with Mike, the guy she met at the bar, but she seemed too into being with a guy and we all know the kind of reputation a girl can get from being that way. While I wasn't too fond of Cami, I did love Liam, who was sweet and funny and who seemed to truly want to treat Cami differently from how he treated girls before. And, of course, I liked revisiting Annie and Ryan's love story as well. No Regrets gets four stars and I can't wait for Moving On. ♥

This story begins with Cami and her best friend making a promise to each other that they won't waste their youth settling down with just one guy too soon and will live wild and free.

The story then jumps to present time, Cami in college and doing her best to live up to these promises after a horrible accident took her friend away. She is enjoying her college life, doing her best to accomplish all the things she and her best friend said they would do and then she meets Liam.

Liam makes her want to change all the rules but she can't help feeling guilty about not fulfilling her promise and something casual is not at all what Liam wants. Will these two ever be able to have a relationship that works?

This is book two in the College of Charleston series. You do not have to have read the first book, The List, to read this one but it helps as the stories run parallel to each other.

After having read The List and really enjoying it,I am sad to say that I was disappointed with this book. I never really liked Cami or Liam and the pace of the story didn't really work for me. Cami felt really fake to me, like nothing she was doing was ever genuine which made it hard for me to buy a relationship with her and Liam. Liam's back story is never fully explained so the reader is left wondering why he is the way he is and what made him want to change his ways.

My thoughts:

POV Cami
Quick hook or slow starter? 3 (entire pace was slow, it never really hooked me)
Character development: 3.5
Level of Romance between characters: 3.5
Passion/Heat level: 4 (the sex scenes fit well with the story)
Angst/Heartbreak: 3.5 (some based on past tragedies)
Cliffhanger?: No, there is the assumption of a HEA.

Overall, it wasn't what I was hoping for so I was left feeling disappointed. I still have hope for the series though and look forward to reading the next book.

**I received a copy of this book from the author. All opinions are my own and not influenced by my source.**

I was looking forward to reading this story because I'm a sucker for the "forbidden" romance trope. Not that this romance was forbidden, more like it was "off-limits".

It took me awhile to like Cami. She's a bit of a rambling person and it makes her come across as an airhead (and I think she is to a certain degree) but I knew that she was going to have some strong character development.

Unfortunately, I wanted to read about her falling in love. I wanted to actually see it happen and not have it neatly summarized as "we talked everyday for the next week". So I had a hard time understanding the connection between these two beside physical attraction.

But at the same time, I feel like this story was about Cami growing up. Which is why I would label this story as a coming of age story more so than a romance. Cami is dealing with some pretty heavy stuff and I did like that her character grew up a bit as you read. It took a while but that was the purpose of the story.

I also didn't realize that this novel would be a companion (taking place simultaneously with The List). I actually liked that a lot because it helped me keep the pacing of everything.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book I have read by Kate L. Mary. I thought this book was good. The series is about a group of college students who are trying to work through past troubles and find a way to move forward. In this book, Cami is struggling with a promise that she made to a friend. It was a promise that she did not really want to make in the first place, but then felt she needed to keep after what happened to the friend. The young man she meets, Liam, is trying to overcome issues he has with his father while coming to terms with the way he has been treating females.

I gave this book three stars because I liked the banter between Cami and Liam, especially toward the beginning of the book. I also appreciated the way that Liam chose to evaluate his behavior after talking to Cami. It showed that Liam was the kind of character who could listen and grow. I thought the author did a good job of showing the mental struggles Cami had and made me feel invested in the outcome.

Unfortunately, after the initial meeting I did not feel a strong connection between Cami and Liam. I understood the connection Cami felt toward Liam, but not the other way around. In addition, I did not understand the friendship between Cami, Annie, Ryan, Liam, and Chris. I thought Chris seemed like a total outsider even though it said Ryan and he were good friends and that Cami was like a little sister to him. There did not seem to be much of a friendship at all between Cami and Chris or even Ryan and Cami. This is probably a case where it would have been beneficial to read the first book before this one to better understand the dynamics between the different characters.

I received a copy of this story from Net Galley. Yay books!

Spoilers possible ahead...

Let me start off by saying that this story corresponds with the first one in the series, "The List", which is Annie and Ryan's story. Don't know if it really matters which one you read first...because I didn't read the first one. But there are lost of things that happens in this story between Ryan and Annie that I want to know about.

Truthfully, I would have rather have read about them than what I just read.

Cami annoyed the hell out of me.

She let someone dictate her life...who wasn't technically alive. Yes, it was her best friend. But...wouldn't the best friend (Julie) rather her be happy than fulfill this crazy promise that they made at 15? Also, Cami could have been 'young, wild and free' in other ways that didn't include under age drinking and one night stands.

Also, Julie's parents are assholes. Cami's already bad off as it is, she doesn't need to hear someone tell her that it should have been her instead. Yes, they were heart broken that their daughter ended up in a coma. But what could Cami have done to keep her from getting in the car with the boy? Nothing. If they thought Cami was a bad influence on their daughter, they should have not let them be friends. Seriously. Parents annoy me too.

I'm sure that I would have liked this story better if Cami hadn't been in there, but, alas. Really, she doesn't deserve Liam.

And I'm just gonna leave that there.

Big thanks to Kensington Publishing and NetGalley for an ARC copy for review.

Ever since being introduced to Cami and Liam in The List, I was very curious to know more about these two characters, especially Liam. They both seemed carefree, liked to have fun, and were not looking to settle down with someone anytime soon. But I knew there was more to them than what Annie and we as the readers were seeing. This is a story about dealing loss and heartache, finding peace and finding love unexpected places.

The main character, Cami was fun, upbeat and always makes Annie feel welcome. Though something from her past is haunting her and it affects her daily. While I did enjoy Cami's perspective, she kind of drove me nuts with her rash decisions and I didn't like her sometimes selfish behavior. And it made me mad when she pushed Liam away (girl, what are you doing?)

I absolutely loved Liam. He is sexy, has a British accent, charming and protective. He was definitely a ladies man, but all that changed with Cami. He wanted something real and lasting with her. These two had a connection both physically and emotionally. Their chemistry was undeniable. Towards the end was a little bittersweet but there was also a sense of healing for Cami and with a hopeful future for her and Liam.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my review.

Cami has been struggling with survivor's guilt ever since the accident that left her best friend Julie in a coma. As a result of a pact made when they were fifteen, Cami finds it hard to live her life. When she becomes a freshman, her guilt becomes worse, especially as she knows Julie won't ever experience all the things they planned to do. Cami creates a list, with the help of her shy roommate, and begins to live for Julie. She didn't count on her cousin's sexy, British roommate interfering with her well-laid plans.

It was a little hard to like Cami at first. She was very selfish and vain. I fell for Liam and his sex hair (lol) almost immediately! Despite my misgivings about Cami and the future of a relationship between her and Liam, I was still intrigued. And I'm glad I read all the way through. Eventually, I came to like Cami, and was happy that she got her guy. The author tackled a sensitive topic in a YA/NA world, and she did it well.

Great read. I'm considering getting the first book in the series.

No Regrets is a story that follows Cami on her journey to start college and live life the the fullest in honor of her best friend. But when Cami meets Liam, all of that changes for her. She is torn between being wild and crazy and living life, or giving into to her feeling for Liam and to potentially find true love.

I had a hard time with this book. I really liked the concept of the story, and I absolutely LOVED Liam, but Cami just got on my last nerve. I really wanted to like her, but the more I read, the more mad I got over her. A few times I considered stopping, but I carried on despite my feeling towards her. I truly loved Liam and how sweet and caring he was. I also really liked the little bit of side story with Cami's cousin Ryan and roommate Annie. I'd definitely be interested in reading more about them.

Overall, I didn't like the book despite my issues with Cami and I would still recommend this book to others.

Genuinely good and emotionally charged. Cami's best friend was in a car accident their senior year. Since Julie can no longer live life the way they had always planned, Cami decides to - with no regrets. Afterall, neither one of them wanted to be young and married like Jamie, Julie's older sister, as she was missing out on too much...wasn't she? However, once she joins her cousin Ryan at college, she meets Liam, his hot, British roommate. I didn't always like Cami, but understood her inner turmoil of trying to live her life to standards Julie would've agreed on. Three problems to this scenario: 1) she isn't Julie, 2) how can you live for someone else when you cat talk to them, and 3) she never counted on wanting Liam like she did. The scenes with Julie's family are heart-wrenching. I thought this book held a good, steady pace and the struggles were well told (especially in her letters).

I received this free eARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

No. I tried. I got 30% into it before calling it quits. I didn't like Cami in the first novel and had a feeling I wouldn't like her story. But I thought I might be wrong, that she wasn't like how she acted when she was thinking, but it was worse.

The thing with Julie is terrible, and Cami is not dealing well with the incident. But it's almost like Cami became child like when it happened, the way she is dealing with it.

And going around living life on the wild side because of Julie is not healthy. I didn't get to see too much between Liam and Cami, but I know enough from reading Annie's story of what happens.

I was really hoping that I would like this novel, but I just couldn't make myself finish it.

I struggled with a rating for this one. Honestly, I did. The characters at times were overly complex and their struggles seemed blown up. But then I realized that many of us feel so complicated and our struggles are to us. But look at someone else's and it seems easy to figure out. I loved Liam immediately - out of reach yet the only one who one really wants. Cami was out of control at times yet just a teen struggling with balancing her feelings.
I gave this a 5 star rating as it made me root for the underdogs and really contemplate the whole story. I really thought about this long after I finished it.
I did receive this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

The story followed the same time span as the first book. The first few chapters were almost identical to the first book but from Cami's point of view. Cami is living her life for her best friend who is in a coma. She made a promise to love her life to the fullest and to have no regrets. But the things she did caused regrets. She had to get rid of the guilt or her live would end in regret. I liked Cami better in the first book. Her own story didn't really live up to the Cami in book one. The characters are really young and immature. Liam was ok but he was kind of secondary. I really didn't get the attraction between the two.

*I was gifted an ARC of this book from the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*

first off let me say there were times when Cami drove me crazy and I wanted to slap her, but I can't imagine what losing a friend like that would do to a person so I let her behavior and actions slide. I did also find her quite endearing throughout the book as well.

I loved Liam from start to end. I mean he decided to change and it was Cami he wanted to be with and partially who he changed for. oh and he's british how much better can he get

Copy received from NetGalley for review.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but this one, meh.
I don't like reading sequels that happen simultaneously with the first book, but from a different character's point of view. I wish Cami's story had happened sequentially after Annie and Ryan's.
I see that there is a third book in the series, and I hope that it starts right where this one left off!
